“Cold” “On/Off”

Programme duration figures (guideline) are valid for maximum temperature wash with no special functions.

		The maximum load for heavily soiled washing is 3.5 kg.
	Cotton	Normally soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear, towels, shirts etc.
		made of cotton and linen.
	Coloured	Slightly to normally soiled bed linen, table linen and underwear, towels,
	cotton	shirts etc., made of cotton and linen.
	Mixed	Slightly soiled overalls and sportswear made of cotton, polyester, polyamide
		and blends with cotton.
	Synthetics	Lightly soiled shirts, blouses etc., made of polyester (Diolen, Trevira),
		polyamide (Perlon, Nylon) or cotton blends.
	Rinse	This programme allows starch or softener to be added.
		It is followed by an intensive spin cycle.
	Spin	Programme for intensive spin cycle.
	Delicate	Delicate fabrics and curtains (dresses, skirts, shirts, blouses, etc.).
	Wool	Machine washable woollens with pure new wool label.
		If the “Rinse Hold” option is selected don't leave the wash to soak for too long.
	Rinse	This programme allows starch or softener to be added.
		It is followed by a gentle spin cycle.
	Spin	Programme for gentle spin cycle.
	Drain	Drain only, without spin cycle.
		Alternative way to end programmes after a “Rinse Hold”.

Prewash cycle increases programme duration approximately 15 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with standard IEC/EN 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash. The data on the “Energy Label” refer to the programme “Cotton 60°C”.

*The remaining time indicator can similarly deviate from the values in the table, because it takes into account the household conditions applicable at that time.

**To reduce the water temperature, some cold water is added at the end of the main wash cycle, before the pump drains the water out.

PREPARATION OF WASH CYCLE

1.Close the drum flaps and check that they are properly locked.

2.Add detergents and additives into the dispenser to no more then the “MAX” level mark, as follows:

• Programme with pre and main wash

• Main wash programme without prewash

• Fabric softeners and conditioners

• Chlorine bleach

• Stain remover agents

• Anti-scale agents (if necessary)

3.Turn the programme selector knob clockwise to the desired programme.

4.Turn the temperature knob to the required temperature.

PRESS ANY DESIRED OPTION BUTTON(S)

“Eco Wash” button

•The wash time is extended and the water temperature is reduced.

•This function saves about 30% in energy without compromising the excellent results of the wash.

“No spin” button

Especially for delicate garments to avoid wear and tear caused by the spin.

Note: with the “Cotton” and “Synthetics” programmes a short spin cycle is provided in any case, even if the exclusion has been selected, in order to optimize rinsing results.

“Intensive Rinse” button

•The water level increases for improved rinsing efficiency.

•This option is particularly suitable for areas with very soft water when washing baby linen and helps people with skin allergies.

•For improved garment care it is advised to use the option for the Cotton 90° C and the Coloured 60° C programme.

“Rinse Hold” button

•The laundry remains in the last rinse water, without progressing to the spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing.

•This option is especially recommended for the “Synthetics” or “Delicate” programmes.

•This option is perfectly suitable if you wish to postpone the spin or you don't wish to spin the clothes.

Note: the programme selector stops on “”.

Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option.

•Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the spin cycle corresponding to the previously selected wash programme.

•If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance by pressing the “On/Off” button. The pilot light goes out. Turn the programme selector to the “Drain” position and switch on the appliance.

PROGRAMME START

Open the water inlet tap and press the “On/Off” button. The pilot lamp lights up.

DOOR LOCK

During the running programme, the door cannot be opened.

The door locks automatically in all programmes. If the programme is stopped or if an electrical power failure occurs, the door unlocks automatically after about 1 minute.

PROGRAMME END

•The programme selector knob is at “STOP”, the pilot lamp lights.

1.Press the “On/Off” button. The pilot light goes out.

2.Cancel the options by pressing the appropriate buttons.

3.Turn the water supply tap off.

4.Wait for the door to unlock (about 1 minute).

5.Open the door and the drum flaps and unload the machine.

SELECTING A NEW PROGRAMME, SPIN SPEED, OPTIONS AFTER PROGRAMME START

1.Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance.

The pilot light goes out.

2.Select the new programme, temperature, spin speed and options.

3.Press the “On/Off” button to switch on the appliance.

The pilot light lights.

TO STOP, RESET A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END

1.Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance.

The pilot light goes out.

2.Set the programme selector on “Drain”.

3.Press the “On/Off” button to start the “Drain” programme.

Only open the door when the programme selector is at “STOP” and the door is unlocked (after approximately 1 minute).

NOTES AND INDICATIONS FOR USE

•After switching your washing machine on, it does not start immediately: it needs some seconds in order to lock the door, fill water and then drum starts turning.

•Spinning has an interrupted start-up: the drum starts and stops running several times, to improve spin efficiency and to better balance the laundry.

•At the end of the spinning cycle the drum goes on reversing for some minutes: this helps you unloading the laundry.

•Do not exceed in detergents dosage: excessive foam formation may prevent spinning.

•The turning of the drum is stopped in several steps of the washing cycle due to optimization of energy consumption.
