ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES
Add the detergent and the additives into the dispenser as follows:
Programme with pre and main wash
Main wash programme without prewash
Fabric softeners and conditioners
Chlorine bleach
Stain remover agents
Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4)
Important:
Be careful not to fill more than the
“MAX”
level mark.
For programme with prewash: do not use liquid detergents.
For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C it is recommended to use a liquid detergent to avoid whitish residues on the coloured laundry.

“Eco” button
The wash time is extended and the water temperature is reduced.
This function saves about 30% in energy without compromising the excellent results of the wash.
“Rinse Hold” button
The laundry remains in the last rinse water without progressing to the spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing.
This option is particularly recommended for the programme “Synthetics” or “Delicate”.
This function is particularly useful if you want to postpone spinning to a later time or when you do not wish to spin the clothes.
Note:
The programme selector knob stops on the position .
Terminate the programme:
Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the spin cycle for the preset wash programme.
If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance, turn the programme knob to the corresponding drain programme and switch on the appliance again.
PROGRAMME START
Open the tap and press the “On/Off” button. The pilot lamp lights up.
DOOR LOCK
During the running programme the door can be opened for adding further laundry. The door locks automatically in all spinning cycles. If the programme is stopped or the
electrical power supply is terminated, the door lock will open after approximately 1 minute.
Note:
If you open the door during the delicate or wool programme, there will be no spinning at the end of the cycle but only draining. If you want to spin the laundry start the gentle spin programme.
PROGRAMME END
The programme selector knob is at the end of the cycle.
1. Cancel the special options by pressing the appropriate buttons.
2. Turn the water supply tap off.
3. Wait for the door to unlock (about 1 minute).
4. Open the door and the drum flaps and unload the machine.
SELECTING A NEW PROGRAMME, SPIN SPEED, OPTIONS AFTER PROGRAMME START
1. Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance.
2. Select the new programme, temperature, spin speed and option.
3. Press the “On/Off” button to switch on the appliance.
TO STOP, RESET A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END
1. Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance.
2. Set the programme selector to “Drain”.
3. Press the “On/Off” button to start the drain programme.
Only open the door when the programme selector is at the end of the cycle and the door is unlocked (after approximately 1 minute).
