Pre-wash cycle increases programme duration by approx. 15 min. Consumption values were measured in normalized conditions in compliance with Standard IEC 60 456. Consumption data in the home may vary with respect to the values in the table in relation to the water supply pressure and temperature, the load and the type of wash.

ADDING DETERGENT AND ADDITIVES

Add the detergent and the additives into the dispenser as follows:

• Programme with pre and main wash

• Main wash programme without pre-wash

• Fabric softeners and conditioners

• Chlorine bleach

• Stain remover agents

• Anti-scale agents (water hardness 4)

Important:

Be careful not to fill more than the “MAX” level mark.

For programme with pre-wash: do not use liquid detergents.

For programmes without prewash from cold to 40° C, it is recommended to use a liquid detergent to avoid whitish residues on the coloured laundry.

CLOSE THE DOOR AND SELECT THE PROGRAMME

1.Turn the programme selector knob clockwise to the desired programme.

2.Turn the temperature selector on the desired position: Cold, Normal, Cotton reinforced.

a.) Cold position: the programme is running without heating.

b.) Normal Position: the programme is running normally with the selected programme/temperature.

c.) Cotton 90° C: the washing temperature of the programme Cotton 60° C is put up to 90° C. Especially suitable for heavily soiled laundry.

3.Turn the spin speed selector on the required setting.

PRESS THE DESIRED SPECIAL OPTION BUTTON “Half Load” button

Reduces water consumption in the cotton and synthetic programme, above all during pre-wash and rinse.

Especially suitable for lightly soiled or small loads (reduce the detergent quantity).

“Rinse Hold” button

The laundry remains in the last rinse water without progressing to the spin cycle to avoid creasing and prevent colours from changing.

This option is particularly recommended for the programme “Synthetics” or “Delicate”.

This function is particularly useful if you want to postpone spinning to a later time or when you do not wish to spin the clothes.

Note: The programme selector knob stops on the position “

.”

Terminate the “Rinse Hold” option:

Press the “Rinse Hold” button again; the programme will terminate automatically with the spin cycle for the present wash programme.

If you do not wish to spin the clothes, switch off the appliance, turn the programme knob to the drain programme and switch on the appliance again.

PROGRAMME START

Open the tap and press the “On/Off” button. The pilot lamp lights up.

DOOR LOCK

During the running programme the door cannot be opened.

The door locks automatically in all programmes. If the programme is stopped or the electrical power supply is terminated, the door lock will open after approximately 1 minute.

PROGRAMME END

The programme selector knob is at the end of the cycle.

1.Press the “On/Off” button.

2.Cancel the special options by pressing the appropriate buttons.

3.Turn the water supply tap off.

4.Wait for the door to unlock (about 1 minute).

5.Open the door and the drum flaps and unload the machine.

PROGRAMME RESELECTION AFTER PROGRAMME START

1.Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance.

2.Select the new programme, temperature position, spin speed and options.

3.Press the “On/Off” button to switch on the appliance.

TO STOP A PROGRAMME BEFORE THE END AND DRAIN

1.Press the “On/Off” button to switch off the appliance.

2.Set the programme selector to Drain.

3.Press the “On/Off” button to start the drain programme.

Only open the door when the programme selector is at “Stop” and the door is unlocked (after approximately 1 minute).
