BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

The appliance that you have bought features ventilated cooling in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments (No Frost system).

The great advantage of ventilated cooling in the refrigerator and freezer compartments is the total absence of ice and frost on the walls, thanks to the process described below. Cold is produced by an evaporator and conveyed into the compartments by a fan. The air, after having circulated in the compartments, is absorbed once again by the evaporator that retains all moisture. In this way no frost will form on the compartments walls like in traditional appliances. Therefore, there is no need to defrost.

The moisture retained by the evaporator is turned into water that automatically flows into a pan above the compressor where it evaporates.

The ventilated cooling system ensures perfect food storage, preserving its original flavour and texture.

Furthermore, apart from these typical advantages of the No Frost system, some models have a special compartment for storing particularly delicate and perishable food at low temperature.

After unpacking, make sure that the appliance is undamaged and that the doors close tightly. Any damage must be reported to your retailer within 24 hours after delivery of the appliance.

Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, let it stand (don’t move it) for at least 1 hour.
