COMBI INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Dear Customer, This refrigeration appliance uses R600a, a 100% environmentally friendly refrigerant, flammable only under certain conditions. For normal operation of your refrigeration appliance, the following rules must be observed:
- Do not hinder the free circulation of air around the appliance.
- Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not destroy the refrigeration circuit.
- Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartment, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

For the optimum performance of your COMBI unit, please read the following instructions carefully.
RECYCLING YOUR OLD REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE
If your new refrigeration appliance replaces an older one, please read the following notes carefully.
Old appliances are not useless wastes; their removal according to environmental regulations allows the recuperation of valuable raw materials. The appliance to be disposed of should be treated in the following manner:
- disconnect the unit from the power supply;
- cut off the supply cable;
- remove any door locks to prevent children from becoming trapped inside
when playing.
Refrigerators and freezers contain insulation materials and refrigeration agents requiring appropriate recycling. This appliance contains refrigeration agent R134a (HCFC 134A) which conforms to environmental standards. Ensure that the refrigeration circuit is not damaged until it is drained according to the standards in force.
RECYCLING OF PACKAGING Warning!
Keep all wrapping out of the reach of children. Playing with the folded
cardboard or plastic sheeting carries the risk of suffocation. The appliance has been protected with adequate packaging for protection
during transport. All wrapping materials are produced in accordance with environmental regulations and can be recycled. Help us to help the environment by recycling the wrapping material where possible.

The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for circumstances arising from non-compliance with the manual instructions. Keep this manual in a safe place where it may be consulted if and when necessary. It could be useful for another user.
Warning!
This appliance should only be used for the purpose it was manufactured for. It should be installed in a location of adequate dimensions and kept away from rain, damp etc.
HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
The appliance must be transported in an upright position only. The wrap must be kept intact during transport.
If the appliance was transported in a horizontal position, it should be allowed to rest for at least 12 hours before starting up the appliance, to allow for stabilisation of the refrigerating circuit.
If these instructions are not complied with, the compressor could be damaged and the terms of the guarantee may no longer apply.
SAFETY MEASURES DURING USE
If the appliance is faulty, do not attempt to run it.
All repairs must be carried out by authorised personnel only.
The appliance should be disconnected from the power supply in the
following situations:
- during defrosting;
- during cleaning.
Disconnect the appliance by pulling the plug out of the socket. Never pull on the cable.
Always allow the minimum space required between the appliance and the
wall where the unit is to be located. Never use electric devices inside the appliance to defrost it.
Never climb up on the appliance or stand on the crosspiece, doors,
compartments or shelves. Never store goods containing inflammable or explosive gases in the
appliance. The appliance should not be used near heaters, cooking appliances or
other sources of heat. Don’t leave the door open any longer than necessary when removing or
putting in food. Food should not be left in the freezer when the appliance is not in use.

If the appliance is not to be used for a few days, it is not necessary to
disconnect it. If the appliance is not to be used for more than a few days, proceed as follows:
- disconnect the appliance from the power supply;
- empty the refrigerator and the freezer;
- defrost and clean the appliance;
- leave the doors open to avoid the build-up of unpleasant odours.
SUGGESTIONS FOR FOOD STORAGE
For best hygiene and storage results:
The freezer is designed to store frozen foods and freeze fresh foods.
The refrigerator is designed for the short-term storage of fresh foods and
drinks. Dairy produce should be kept in special covered compartment (11) located
on the inside of the door. Cooked foods should be kept in airtight containers for no longer than 2-3
days. Fresh packed goods can be kept on the shelves. Fresh fruit and
vegetables should be kept in the vegetable box. Bottles should be stored on bottle shelf (8) located on the inside of the
door. To keep refrigerated meat fresh, pack it in polythene bags. Do not allow it
come into contact with cooked foods. Fresh meat should not be stored for more than 2 or 3 days. For optimum efficiency, do not cover the shelves with paper or other
materials to allow the cool air to circulate freely. Do not store oil in the door shelves.
Keep all foods wrapped or covered. Once opened, tinned foods should be
transferred to an airtight food storage container. Let hot foods cool before putting them into the refrigerator.
Fizzy drinks should not be kept in the freezer.
Drinks with a high alcohol content must be stored in a vertical position in
tightly sealed containers, to avoid the risk of explosion.
