Electrical Shock Hazard Disconnect power before servicing. Replace all panels before operating. Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
Window mounting kit 1160360 will accommodate window openings from 28" to 40" width and at least 16
1. Disconnect power or unplug air conditioner.
2. Remove front cabinet panel by removing two (2) screws
along lower edge of front panel. See Figure 1.

Excessive Weight Hazard
Use two or more people to move and install air conditioner.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
3. Disconnect ground wire from base, and slide air condi-
tioner out of cabinet by pulling on handle. See Figure 2.

4. Assemble window mounting kit to air conditioner cabinet
as shown in Figure 3.

5. After kit has been installed on the cabinet, you now can
place cabinet in window opening. Place cabinet in win­dow, keeping it in the center of the opening. See Figure 4.
6. Lower window sash. Place level on the top edge of the cabinet. There should be a tilt to the outside of about one bubble, so that water will run to the outside. Place the level on the left side and check. See Figure 5.

7. Slide air conditioner into cabinet by pushing on
base flange.

Connect green ground wire to ground screw.

8. Connect ground wire on cabinet to the base flange
on air conditioner.
9. Place level on the top right and left edge of cabinet. The air conditioner should still tilt one bubble to the outside.
10. Pull out curtains as far as possible and insert machine

screws. Use a
32" drill bit to drill a starter hole in the curtain housing. Fasten with wood screws. See Figure 6.
