SA314 Siren Speaker Bracket

Installation:
1. Open the hood and remove the protective cover from the front of the engine compartment (Fig. 1). Refer to the vehicle manual for instructions.
2. Remove the existing bolt (Fig. 2) from the passenger side radiator support (toward bottom).
IMPORTANT NOTE! This installation uses Rivnuts™ to secure the bracket to the vehicle. This type of hardware requires the use of a specialized installation tool. Refer to the owners manual included with this

Use existing hardware

3. Drill out the existing hole (toward the top of the radiator support) with a .391 drill bit and install the supplied riv nut.
4. Secure the siren speaker to the bracket with the supplied hardware (Fig. 3).
IMPORTANT: For drainage purposes, the speaker must be oriented so
that the wire passage/drain hole is in the “6 o’clock” position (closest

Installation:

5. Secure the bottom of the bracket (with speaker) to the vehicle using the existing hardware. Secure the top of the bracket to the riv-nut you installed in step 2 using the supplied mounting hardware Fig. 4).
6. Extend the WHITE (positive) and BLACK (negative) speaker wires to your siren amplifier and connect as shown in the amplifiers instructions. Test the siren to confirm proper operation.
7. Re-install the protective cover to complete this installation. Test all vehicle components and equipment before returning the vehicle to service.

Exposure to these tones without proper and adequate hearing protection, could cause ear damage and/or hearing loss! The Occupational Safety & Health Administration (www.osha.gov) provides information necessary to determine safe exposure times in Occupational Noise Exposure Section 1910.95. Until you have determined the safe exposure times for your specific application, operators and anyone else in the immediate vicinity should be required to wear an approved hearing protection device. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS

1. Secure the bottom of the bracket (with speaker) to the vehicle using the existing hardware. Secure the top of the bracket to the riv-nut you installed in step 2 using the supplied mounting hardware Fig. 4).
