output is based on a clear lens, when a colored lens is
used the candela output is de-rated to:
Red Lens strobe, 22 candela
Blue Lens strobe, 49.5 candela
Green Lens strobe, 33 candela
Amber Lens strobe, 82.5 candela

• Compliant with ADA, OSHA 1910.165, ANSI 117.1,
NFPA 72, NFPA 101, and IFC

• Cluster and Strobe wiring can be monitored for
integrity by the Control Panel

• Cluster Speaker Strobes come fully assembled

• High effi ciency unit for fi re life safety and/or general
communication announcing/notifi cation

• Provides for high-intelligibility voice reproduction and
high intensity visual alerting for emergency life safety
applications, alarm and protective signaling

Architects and Engineers Specifi cations

The Cluster Speaker Strobe shall be the Series STH speaker with three strobes or approved equal. The cluster speaker strobe shall be designed for
indoor ceiling mounting for high ambient noise environments. The cluster speaker strobe shall be supplied with UL Standard 1480 listed speaker horn(s),
one (1) UL Standard 1971 listed selectable 115 or 177 candela synchronizable ceiling strobe and two (2) UL Listed 1638 110 candela ceiling strobes
(with either a Red, Blue, Green or Amber lens) mounted to a NEMA 1 steel enclosure. The Cluster Speaker and Strobe shall be fully assembled. The
Cluster Speaker and Strobe shall be capable of use for UL Required Fire Life Safety applications. The Cluster Speaker and strobe wiring shall be able
to be monitored for integrity by the Control Panel.

The Series STH Cluster Speaker with three strobes shall comply with NFPA 72, NFPA 101, OSHA 1910.165, ANSI 117.1, ADA, and IFC.

The speaker horns shall measure 7.87”W x 8.75”H x 9.32”D each and shall be prefabricated on the sides of a 10” x 10” x 6” steel enclosure.

The one (1) UL Standard 1971 listed strobe shall be a high intensity selectable 115 or 177 candela ceiling strobe with a current draw of 0.195 amps for
115cd @ 24 VDC or 0.270 amps for 177 cd @ 24VDC.

The two (2) UL Standard 1638 listed strobes shall be a 110 candela ceiling strobe with a current draw of 0.195 amps @ 24 VDC. The colored lens strobes
shall have following candela output ratings: Red lens: 22 candela, Blue lens: 49.5 candela, Green lens: 33 candela, Amber lens: 82.5 candela.

All speaker horns and strobes shall be prefabricated on the bottom of the steel enclosure. Mounting of the Cluster Speaker Strobe shall be accomplished
by using pre-drilled holes in the enclosure or by drilling new holes in order to be compatible with other mounting conditions.

• Strobes produce 1 fl ash per second over the regulated voltage
range
