IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the following important precau-
tions before using the weight bench.
REMOVING AND ATTACHING THE LAT TOWER
To remove the Lat Tower (40), first remove the Knob (29) from the Frame (51). Next, remove the indicated 5/16” x 2” Bolt (10), 5/16” Washers (3), and 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Lift the Lat Tower out of the Frame.
To attach the Lat Tower (40), slide the Lat Tower into the Frame (51). Attach the Lat Tower to the Frame with the 5/16” x 2” Bolt (10), the two 5/16” Washers (3), and the 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Fully tighten the Knob (29) into the Frame.
Note: Make sure that a 1 1/2” Square Inner Cap (not shown) is inserted into the Frame (51) when the Lat Tower (40) is not attached.
USING THE CURL PAD AND CURL TUBE
To use the Curl Pad (43), insert the Curl Tube (44) into the Frame (51). Raise the Curl Upright to the desired height, and align one of the holes in the Curl Tube with the hole in the Frame. Insert the Small Locking Pin (38) through the Frame and the Curl Tube. Rotate the Small Locking Pin to the locked position, with the Small Locking Pin clipped onto the Frame.
Note: Make sure that a 1 1/2” Square Inner Cap (not shown) is inserted in the Frame (51) when the Curl Pad (43) and Curl Tube (44) are not attached.
SECURING THE LEG LEVER
When the Leg Lever (45) is not being used, it must be secured with the Large Locking Pin (17). To secure the Leg Lever, hold the Leg Lever against the Frame (51). Slide the Large Locking Pin through the hole in the Leg Lever and secure it behind the Frame as shown.

1. Read all instructions in this manual before using the weight bench.
2. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of the weight bench are ade­quately informed of all precautions.
3. The weight bench is intended for home use only. Do not use the weight bench in any commercial, rental, or institutional setting.
4. Use the weight bench only on a level surface. Cover the floor beneath the weight bench to protect the floor or carpet.
5. Inspect and tighten all parts regularly. Replace any worn parts immediately.
6. Inspect the cables before each use. Make sure that the cables remain on the pulleys at all times. If a cable binds while you are exer­cising, stop immediately and make sure that the cable is on the pulleys. Replace both cables every two years.
7. The weight bench is designed to be used by only one person at a time.
8. Keep children under 12 and pets away from the weight bench at all times.
9. Always wear athletic shoes for foot protec­tion while exercising.
10. Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
11. Do not place more than 365 pounds (165 kg) on the weight rests; do not place more than
125 pounds (57 kg) on the leg lever; do not place more than 30 pounds (14 kg) on the arms.
12. When using the weight carriage, always secure your weights (not included) with the weight clips.
13. Remove the lat bar when performing any exercise that does not require the lat bar.
14. If you feel pain or dizziness while exercising, stop immediately and begin cooling down.
15. The decal shown below has been placed on the weight bench. If the decal is missing or illegible, please call our Customer Service Department at 0345-089009 to order a free replacement decal. Apply the replacement decal in the location shown.

Thank you for selecting the versatile WESLO®BENCH 600 weight bench. The BENCH 600 offers a selection of weight stations designed to develop every major muscle group of the body. Whether your goal is to tone your body, build dramatic muscle size and strength, or improve your cardiovascular system, the BENCH 600 will help you to achieve the specific results you want.
For your benefit, read this manual carefully before using the weight bench. If you have additional ques-
tions, please call our Customer Service Department at 0345-089009. To help us assist you, please note the product model number and serial number before call­ing. The model number is WLEMBE71000. The serial number can be found on a decal attached to the weight bench (see the front cover of this manual).
Before reading further, please review the drawing below and familiarise yourself with the parts that are labelled.
High Pulley
USING THE WEIGHT CARRIAGE
To use the high pulley station or the low pulley sta­tion, make sure that the Upper Cable (37) is attached to the Weight Carriage (41) with a Cable Clip (39). Slide the desired weights (not included) onto the weight tube of the Weight Carriage. Secure the weights with the Weight Clips (64).
When using the Weight Carriage, always secure the weights with the Weight Clips.
USING THE HIGH PULLEY STATION
Attach the Lat Bar (42) to the Upper Cable (37) with a Cable Clip (39).
USING THE LOW PULLEY STATION
Attach the Lower Cable (30) to the Upper Cable (37) with a Cable Clip (39). Attach the Lat Bar (42) to the other end of the Lower Cable with a Cable Clip (39).

Before beginning assembly, carefully read the following information and instructions:
Place all parts of the weight bench in a cleared
area and remove the packing materials; do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
For help identifying the small parts used in assembly, use the PART IDENTIFICATION
CHART located in the centre of this manual.
Note: Some small parts may have been pre­attached for shipping. If a part is not in the parts bag, check to see if it has been pre-attached.
As you assemble the weight bench, Make sure that all parts are oriented as shown in the drawings.
Tighten all parts as you assemble them, unless instructed to do otherwise.
THE FOLLOWING TOOLS (NOT INCLUDED) ARE REQUIRED FOR ASSEMBLY:
• Two (2) adjustable spanners
• One (1) phillips screwdriver
• One (1) rubber mallet
• Lubricant, such as grease or petroleum jelly, and soapy water will also be needed.
Assembly will be easier if you have a socket set or a set of open-end or closed-end wrenches.

1. Before beginning assembly, make sure that
you have read the information in the box above.
Attach the Right Stabiliser (49) to the “H” Frame (52) with a 5/16” x 2 1/2” Bolt (2), a 5/16” Washer (3), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Do not tight-
en the Nylon Locknut yet.
Attach the Left Stabiliser (50) to the “H” Frame (52) with a 5/16” x 2 1/2” Bolt (2), a 5/16” Washer (3), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Do not tight-
en the Nylon Locknut yet.
HOW TO ADJUST THEWEIGHT BENCH
The instructions below describe how each part of the weight bench can be adjusted. Inspect and tighten all parts each time you use the weight bench. Replace any worn parts immediately. The weight bench can be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Do not use solvents.
ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
To use the Backrest (54) in an inclined position, first remove the Medium Lock Pins (22). Raise the Backrest and insert the Adjustment Tube (61) through one of the three sets of large holes in the “H” Frame (52). As you insert the Adjustment Tube, adjust the height of the Weight Rests (55) and insert the Adjustment Tube through one of the three sets of large holes in the Weight Rests. Rotate the Adjustment Tube to the locked position, with the end of the Adjustment Tube clipped onto the “H” Frame. Lay the Backrest on the Adjustment Tube.
To use the Backrest (54) in a level position, remove the Adjustment Tube (61). Lay the Backrest on the Frame (51). Use the Medium Lock Pins (22) to adjust the height of the Weight Rests (55) (see ADJUSTING THE WEIGHT RESTS below).
ADJUSTING THE WEIGHT RESTS
When the Backrest (54) is in the level position, the Weight Rests (55) must be secured with the Medium Lock Pins (22). Raise the Weight Rests to the desired height, and align one of the holes in each Weight Rest with the small hole in the “H” Frame (52). Insert the Medium Lock Pins through the “H” Frame and the Weight Rests. Rotate the Medium Lock Pins to the locked position, with the Medium Lock Pins clipped onto the “H” Frame. Make sure that both Weight
Rests are at the same height.
ATTACHING WEIGHTS TO THE WEIGHT BENCH
To use the Arms (57, 58), make sure that there is a Weight Stop (13) on each 11” Weight Tube (63). Slide the desired amount of weight (not included) onto each Weight Tube. Do not place more than 30 pounds
(14 kg) on each Arm.
To use the Leg Lever (45), make sure that there is a Weight Stop (13) on the 14” Weight Tube (46). Slide the desired amount of weight (not included) onto the Weight Tube. Do not place more than 125 pounds
(57 kg) on the Leg Lever.

2. Press two 1 1/2” Square Inner Caps (6) into the Frame (51). Press a 1 1/2” Square Inner Cap (6) into each of the Stabilisers (49, 50).
Attach the Frame (51) to the “H” Frame (52) with two 5/16” x 2 1/4” Bolts (32) and two 5/16” Nylon Locknuts (1). Do not tighten the Nylon
Locknuts yet.
Attach the Frame (51) to the Stabilisers (49, 50) with two 5/16” x 5 1/2” Bolts (5), the two Stabiliser Plates (65), and two 5/16” Nylon Locknuts (1).
Tighten all of the Nylon Locknuts (1) used in this step and step 1.
3. Attach the Left and Right Backrest Brackets (59, 60) to the Backrest (54) with four 1/4” x 5/8” Screws (7). Make sure that the Brackets
are oriented so the indicated holes are on the end shown. Note: The Screws may come pre-inserted into the Backrest.
4. Tap 3/4” Round Inner Caps (16) into the indicat­ed ends of the Adjustment Tube (61). Insert the Adjustment Tube into the “H” Frame (52) as shown.
Attach the Left and Right Backrest Brackets (59, 60) to the Frame (51) with the 5/16” x 4” Bolt (9), two 1/2” x 7/8” Spacers (8), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1).
5. Attach the Seat (56) to the Frame (51) with two 1/4” x 5/8” Screws (7).

18. Attach the Lower Cable (30) to the Upper Cable (37) with a Cable Clip (39).
Wrap the Lower Cable (30) around a Pulley (36). Attach the Pulley to the “U” Bracket (33) with a 3/8” x 1 1/2” Bolt (34) and a 3/8” Nylon Locknut (15).
19. Wet the ends of the Lat Bar (42) with soapy water. Slide a Foam Grip (21) onto each end of the Lat Bar. Press a 1” Round Inner Cap (12) into each end of the Lat Bar.
20. Make sure that all parts are properly tight- ened before you use the weight bench. The use of all remaining parts will be explained on pages 12 to 14.

6. Press 1 1/2” Square Inner Caps (6) into both ends of the Leg Lever (45).
Attach the 14” Weight Tube (46) to the Leg Lever (45) with a 5/16” x 2” Bolt (10), two 5/16” Washers (3), a 1/2” x 5/16” Spacer (24), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1).
Press the 1” Round Angle Cap (66) onto the indicated end of the Weight Tube (46). Tap a 1” Round Inner Cap (12) into other end of the Weight Tube. Slide a Weight Stop (13) onto the Weight Tube.
7. Lubricate the 3/8” x 2 1/2” Bolt (14). Attach the Leg Lever (45) to the Frame (51) with the Bolt and a 3/8” Nylon Locknut (15).
8. Press a 3/4” Round Inner Cap (16) into each end of a Short Pad Tube (47). Insert the Pad Tube into one of the holes in the Leg Lever (45). Slide a 5 1/2” Foam Pad (18) onto each end of the Pad Tube.
Repeat for the other Short Pad Tube (47). Press a 3/4” Round Inner Cap (16) into each
end of the Long Pad Tube (48). Insert the Pad Tube into the indicated hole in the Frame (51). Slide a 6” Foam Pad (20) onto each end of the Pad Tube.
9. Press two Square Outer Bushings (28) onto the “H” Frame (52).
Wet the inside of a Foam Grip (21) with soapy water. Slide the Foam Grip onto a Weight Rest (55). Press a 1” Round Inner Cap (12) into the Weight Rest. Slide the Weight Rest into one side of the “H” Frame. Align one of the small holes in the Weight Rest with the small hole in the “H” Frame (52). Insert a Medium Lock Pin (22) through the Weight Rest and the “H” Frame.
Assemble the other Weight Rest (55) in the same way.

16. Slide the Lat Tower (40) into the Frame (51).
The Lat Tower must be turned as shown.
Attach the Lat Tower to the Frame with a 5/16” x 2” Bolt (10), two 5/16” Washers (3), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Fully tighten the Knob (29) into the Frame.
17. Locate the Upper Cable (37), which has a ball on one end. Insert the Upper Cable through the top of the Lat Tower (40) as shown.
Attach a Pulley (36) inside the Lat Tower (40) with a 3/8” x 1 1/2” Bolt (34) and a 3/8” Nylon Locknut (15). Make sure that the ball is on
the indicated side of the Pulley and that the Upper Cable (37) is between the Pulley and the welded rod.
Attach the other Pulley (36) inside the Lat Tower (40) in the same way.
Attach the Upper Cable (37) to the Weight Carriage (41) with a Cable Clip (39).

10. Press a 7/8” Round Inner Cap (53) into the Right Arm (58). Insert two 1 1/2" Square Inner Caps (6) into the Right Arm.
Attach an 11” Weight Tube (63) to the Right Arm (58) with a 5/16” x 4 1/2” Bolt (25), a 5/16” Washer (3), a 1/2” x 5/16” Spacer (24), a 2 3/4” Spacer (26), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1).
Insert 1” Round Inner Caps (12) into both ends of the Weight Tube (63). Slide a Weight Stop (13) onto the Weight Tube.
Assemble the Left Arm (not shown) in the same manner.
11. Insert a 3/4” x 1 3/4” Spacer (23) into the weld­ed tube on the “H” Frame (52). Lubricate the axle on the Right Arm (58). Insert the axle into the welded tube. Make sure that the 2 3/4” Spacer (26, see drawing 10) is on the outside of the “H” Frame. Insert a Spring Clip (27) into the axle so that it locks into the hole in the axle. Insert a 7/8” Round Inner Cap (53) into the welded tube.
Attach the Left Arm (not shown) in the same manner.
12. Attach a 9” Pad Tube (62) to the Right Arm (58) with a 5/16” x 2” Bolt (10), two 5/16” Washers (3), a 1/2” x 7/16” Spacer (11), and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1).
Press two 3/4” Round Inner Caps (16) into the 9” Pad Tube (62). Slide a 7” Foam Pad (19) onto the Pad Tube.
Repeat this step for the Left Arm (not shown).
13. Attach the Curl Pad (43) to the Curl Tube (44) with two 1/4” x 5/8” Screws (7).

14. Press Square Inner Bushings (35) into the top and bottom of the Weight Carriage (41). Press a 1” Round Inner Cap (12) into each side of the Weight Carriage.
Slide the Weight Carriage (41) onto the Lat Tower (40). The Weight Carriage must be
turned so the weight tube is on the side shown and the welded tab is pointed toward the top of the Lat Tower.
15. Insert the “U” Bracket (33) into the indicated hole in the Lat Tower (40). Attach the “U” Bracket with a Square Plate (31) and a 5/16” Nylon Locknut (1). Make sure that the “U”
Bracket is on the side of the Lat Tower shown.
