ELECTRIC GRILL OWNER’S GUIDE
You must read this Owner’s Guide before operating your electric grill.

m Read all instructions prior to operating. m The appliance is to be connected to a
socket having an earthing contact.
m The appliance should be supplied through
a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA.
m Do not operate unit if plug receptacle is
damaged.
m The power cord should be regularly
examined for signs of damage and the appliance is not to be used if the cord is damaged.
m Do not operate barbecue with a
temperature controller that has a damaged cord or plug. Call Weber for a replacement temperature controller. The temperature controller is made specifically for this barbecue.
m Always plug temperature controller into
barbecue before plugging power cord into socket.
m When removing the temperature controller
from the barbecue, unplug it first.
m During long periods of non-use, remove
temperature controller from barbecue. Always store temperature controller indoors when not in use.
m Do not immerse temperature controller with
power cord for cleaning.
m Do not immerse barbecue in water when
cleaning.
m To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse plug, cord or heating element controller in water or any other liquid.
m Keep plug and cord dry when in use. m Do not use barbecue when raining. m Operate barbecue only on a level, stable
surface.
m Do not use charcoal or other combustible
fuels in this barbecue. This barbecue is not designed for charcoal use and a fire could result. The fire could create an unsafe condition and damage to the barbecue.
m This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

WARNINGS:
m Do not in any way alter this product or
its use.
m Use this barbecue only as described
in this manual. Any other use not recommended in this manual may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
m Do not use as a heater. m Do not leave barbecue unattended
when in use.
m Keep young children, elderly and pets
away while barbecue is in use.
m This appliance conforms to technical
standards and the safety requirements for electrical devices.
m Always ensure that electrical socket
being used has the correct voltage according to the input power appliance. Sockets must also be suitable for equipment with a power consumption of 2200 Watts.
m Make sure no other high wattage
appliances are plugged into the same circuit when using barbecue.
m Unplug barbecue when not in use. m Locate power cord away from traffic
areas.
m Do not allow cord to touch barbecue
when it is hot.
m If using an extension lead it must be
designed for outdoor use and rated for the input power appliance.
m Use shortest length extension lead
possible. Do not connect 2 or more extension leads together.
m Do not leave temperature controller in
the ON position during short periods of non-use.
m Pulling controller by the knob
could cause it to come off. Remove temperature controller by gripping on its side.
m This barbecue is intended for outdoor
household use only. Do not use indoors or for commercial cooking.
m Do not use barbecue near combustible
materials such as wood, dry grass, shrubs, etc.
m Do not allow barbecue to come into
contact with flammable materials such as paper, walls, draperies, towels, chemicals, etc.
m Do not use barbecue in high traffic
areas.
m Do not move the barbecue while it is in
use. Allow the appliance to cool before moving or storing it.
m To prevent barbecue from being
splashed or falling into water, do not use barbecue within 305 cm (10 feet) of any body of water such as a pool or pond.
m Do not build this model of barbecue
in any built-in or slide-in construction. Ignoring this warning could cause a fire or an explosion that may damage property or cause serious bodily injury or death.
m If a flare up occurs, do not use water
to put out fire. Turn barbecue to OFF. Unplug power cord and wait for barbecue to cool.
m Clean drip pan regularly. m The grease tray must be in place at all
times during barbecue operation.

This is Weber’s Limited Warranty provided to you at no extra charge. It contains the information you will need to have your WEBER
®
product repaired in
the unlikely event of a failure or defect.
WEBER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
Weber provides, to the original purchaser of the WEBER® product (or in the case of a gift or promotional situation, the person for whom it was purchased as a gift or promotional item), that the WEBER® product is free from defects in material and workmanship for the period(s) of time specified below when assembled and operated in accordance with the accompanying Owner’s Guide. (Note: If you lose or misplace your WEBER® Owner’s Guide, a replacement is available online at www.weber.com). Under normal, private single family home or apartment use and maintenance, Weber agrees to repair or replace defective parts within the applicable time periods, limitations and exclusions listed below. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXTENDED ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS, EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF GIFTS AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS AS NOTED ABOVE.
OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure trouble-free warranty coverage, it is important that you register your WEBER® product online at www.weber.com or via Weber Customer Service at 1-800-446-1071. Please also retain your original sales receipt and/or invoice. Registering your WEBER® product confirms your warranty coverage and provides a direct link between you and Weber in case we need to contact you.
The Owner must take reasonable care of the WEBER® product and follow all assembly instructions, usage instructions and preventative maintenance as outlined in the accompanying Owner’s Guide. If you live in a coastal area, or have your product located near a pool, maintenance includes regular washing and rinsing of the exterior surfaces as outlined in the accompanying Owner’s Guide. If you believe that you have a part that is covered by this Limited Warranty, please contact Weber Customer Service at 1-800-446-1071 or support@weberstephen.com. Weber will, upon investigation, repair or replace (at its option) a defective part covered by this Limited Warranty. In the event that repair or replacement are not possible, Weber may chose (at its option) to replace the barbecue in question with a new barbecue of equal or greater value. Weber may ask you to return parts for inspection, shipping charges to be pre-paid.
This LIMITED WARRANTY does not cover damage, deterioration, discolouration and/or rust caused by:
• Abuse, misuse, alteration, modification, misapplication, vandalism, neglect, improper assembly or installation, and failure to properly perform normal and routine maintenance;
• Insects (such as spiders) and rodents (such as squirrels), including but not limited to damage to burner tubes and/or gas hoses;
• Exposure to salt air and/or chlorine sources such as swimming pools and hot tubs/spas;
• Severe weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis or surges, tornadoes or severe storms.
The use and/or installation of parts on your WEBER® product that are not genuine Weber parts will void this Limited Warranty, and any damages that result are not covered by this Limited Warranty. Any conversion of a gas barbecue not authorised by Weber and performed by a Weber authorised service technician will void this Limited Warranty.

(2 years paint excluding fading or discoloration)
Lid assembly: 5 years, no rust through/burn through
Stainless steel burner tubes: 5 years, no rust through/burn through
Porcelain-enamelled cast iron cooking grates: 5 years, no rust through/burn through
Plastic components: 5 years, excluding fading or discolouration
All remaining parts: 2 years

WEBER MAKES NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN WHAT IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. NO WARRANTIES SHALL APPLY AFTER THE APPLICABLE PERIODS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. NO OTHER WARRANTIES GIVEN BY ANY PERSON OR ENTITY, INCLUDING A DEALER OR RETAILER WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCT (SUCH AS ANY “EXTENDED WARRANTIES”), SHALL BIND WEBER. THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PART OR PRODUCT. THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY ARISING FROM THE SALE OF THE PRODUCTS COVERED HEREBY. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES TO PRIVATE SINGLE FAMILY HOME OR APARTMENT USE ONLY AND DOES NOT APPLY TO WEBER BARBECUES USED IN COMMERCIAL, COMMUNAL OR MULTI-UNIT SETTINGS SUCH AS RESTAURANTS, HOTELS, RESORTS OR RENTAL PROPERTIES.
WEBER MAY FROM TIME TO TIME CHANGE THE DESIGN OF ITS PRODUCTS. NOTHING CONTAINED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE CONSTRUED AS OBLIGATING WEBER TO INCORPORATE SUCH DESIGN CHANGES INTO PREVIOUSLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCTS, NOR SHALL SUCH CHANGES BE CONSTRUED AS AN ADMISSION THAT PREVIOUS DESIGNS WERE DEFECTIVE.
