Poly-Alloy CrimpRing™ Adapters

Poly-Alloy CrimpRing™ Sweat Adapters are used to transition copper pipe to WaterPEX used for the appropriate NPT fitting.

Specifications

System shall be plumbed using Watts WaterPEX® cross-linked polyethylene pipe. All joints shall be made using Watts brass CrimpRing the Watts copper CrimpRing crimping methods as outlined in the Watts WaterPEX Installation Guidelines.

installation manual and guidelines.

• Listed by the National Sanitation Foundation to NSF Standards 14 and 61 for use in potable water systems

• Listed by NSF to be in compliant to the Uniform Plumbing Code

• Labeled B137.5 which indicates that it is compliant to the CSA Standards B137.5

• Manufactured from Acudel

* The wetted surface of this product contacted by consumable

water contains less than one quarter of one percent (0.25%) of lead by weight.

** Note: Watts WaterPEX CinchClamp™ fittings should not be used

with wrot copper PEX fittings.

If connections must be made in temperatures below 30°F, caution must be taken to allow the WaterPEX to form a proper seal against the barb. Apply the connection slowly to ensure the PEX material conforms to the barb.
