REGOLEPERLASICUREZZA

ATTENZIONE: LEGGETE QUESTE REGOLE PER LA SICUREZZA E IL MANUALE D’ISTRUZIONI PRIMA DI MANEGGIARE LA VOSTRA ARMA

•Non puntate mai un’arma in direzione di qualcuno e tenete sempre le canne puntate in una direzione di sicurezza.

•Trattate sempre tutte le armi da fuoco come se fossero cariche. Non fidatevi della sicura della vostra arma.

•Se non vengono utilizzate, le armi devono sempre essere scariche e custodite in un luogo sicuro. Tenete sempre armi e munizioni lontane dai bambini.

•Usate esclusivamente le munizioni che sono indicate sui punzoni della vostra arma.

•Quando sparate, indossate sempre protezioni per le orecchie e gli occhi.

•Prima di sparare, assicuratevi che le canne non siano ostruite.

•Non caricate mai l’arma fino a che non siate giunti in un luogo in cui si possa e sia sicuro sparare. Tenete sempre la sicura inserita fino a quando non siete pronti a fare fuoco.

•Tenete lontano le dita dal grilletto mentre state caricando o scaricando l’arma.

•Se dopo aver premuto il grilletto il fucile non spara, tenetelo puntato in una direzione di sicurezza, poi scaricatelo prestando molta attenzione. Se la vostra arma spara ma il rinculo è molto debole, scaricatela e assicuratevi che le canne non siano ostruite.

•Non alterate o modificate il vostro fucile. Usate solo pezzi di ricambio originali.

•Pulite ed eseguite la manutenzione seguendo le istruzioni di questo manuale.

•Tenete sempre le vostre armi scariche. Non trasportate né custodite le vostre armi cariche all’interno di un veicolo o di un edificio.

MATRICOLA

La matricola nel vostro express FABARM si trova sulla bascula. Il calibro è invece indicato sulle canne. I punzoni del Banco di prova sono presenti sulle canne e all’interno della bascula.

MECCANISMO DI SCATTO

Il vostro express monta un monogrillo inerziale: infatti, è il rinculo del primo colpo che rende immediatamente disponibile a sparare anche la seconda canna.

SICURA E SELETTORE DELLE CANNE

Il fucile è in sicura quando il cursore è spostato verso il calcio e appare la scritta “SAFE” o “S” sul codolo della bascula ( FIG. 1 ).

Tenete sempre il fucile in sicura fino a quando non intendete sparare.

ESTRATTORI MANUALI – ESTRATTORI AUTOMATICI

Gli express ASPER hanno estrattori automatici: i bossoli verranno estratti dalle camere di scoppio quando si andrà ad aprire il fucile. La cartuccia non sparata sarà solo estratta leggermente per facilitarne la rimozione.

CHIAVE DI APERTURA

La chiave di apertura agisce sul tassello di chiusura che va ad inserirsi sui ramponi delle canne. La chiusura è stata studiata in modo tale che duri per un lungo periodo di tempo e, per questo motivo, non siate sorpresi se la chiave di apertura non è allineata con le canne. Non è necessario assicurarsi della chiusura del fucile con il pollice; lasciate che la chiave d’apertura ritorni nella sua 2 posizione naturale spontaneamente.

Il disassamento della chiave d’apertura rispetto alle canne è nella norma e indica che la chiusura dell’arma è ancora molto lontana dall’essere usurata.

MONTAGGIO

1.E’ assolutamente essenziale rimuovere il prodotto anti-corrosione applicato dal produttore dell’arma sulle superficie metalliche. Prestate particolari attenzioni nel pulire le canne e l’interno della bascula.

2.Prima di montare l’arma, controllate che le camere di scoppio siano vuote. Dopo aver pulito attentamente tutte le parti metalliche esterne, applicate qualche goccia d’olio sui due semiperni anteriori, sulla ramponatura delle canne, sulla superficie laterale della bascula e sull’acciaio dell’astina (FIG. 2). L’olio in eccesso non solo sarà necessario ma sarebbe addirittura da consigliare.

3.Per montare le canne sulla bascula, tenete il calcio con la mano destra sotto il vostro braccio destro. Aprite la chiave d’apertura con il pollice destro. Usando la vostra mano sinistra, afferrate le canne e andate ad inserire la ramponatura delle canne sui due semiperni anteriori della bascula (FIG.3).

4.Tenendo i ramponi in tensione sui semi perni per mantenere il perfetto allineamento, ruotate le canne fino a fare chiudere il fucile (FIG. 4) e rilasciate la chiave d’apertura.

5.Inserite l’astina fino a quando la parte metallica di quest’ultima non va perfettamente in contatto con la bascula. (FIG.5).

ATTENZIONE: durante il montaggio, maneggiate il fucile con delicatezza senza mai forzare le parti. Se le canne non sono correttamente inserite nella bascula o se l’allineamento non è corretto, forzare le parti significherebbe danneggiare le superfici a contatto e rovinare il loro allineamento.

CARICAMENTO

Prima di sparare la prima cartuccia è preferibile che l’interno della canna sia perfettamente asciutto. Per questo motivo, passate uno straccio attraverso le canne prima di usare il fucile. Per caricare il fucile, mettere la sicura e inserire una cartuccia per ogni canna.

SMONTAGGIO

1.Dopoesserviassicuraticheall’internodellecamerediscoppiononsianorimastedellecartucce, chiudete il fucile. Tenendo saldamente il calcio sotto il vostro braccio destro, sganciate l’astina

con la mano sinistra e simultaneamente separate questa dalle canne (FIG.6 ).

2.Aprite il fucile e, prestando attenzione, separate le canne dalla bascula. Per non danneggiarla, rimontate subito l’astina sulle canne.

3.Per fare ritornare in posizione la chiave di apertura, premete la leva posta sulla parte bassa della bascula.

NON SMONTATE ULTERIORMENTE LA VOSTRAARMA.

Limitate le operazioni di manutenzioni alla rimozione della canna e dell’astina. Questo è sufficiente per la normale manutenzione. Per tutti gli altri tipi di intervento consigliamo di rivolgersi ad un armaiolo competente.

PULIZIA

Prima di iniziare a pulire il vostro express, assicuratevi che sia scarico!

Usate e maneggiate il vostro fucile con attenzione in modo tale da averlo in ottimo stato e senza problemi per molti anni. Prestate sempre attenzione al vostro fucile quando lo maneggiate. Dopo ogni uscita a caccia o sessione di tiro, pulitelo ed oliatelo.

Per questo motivo, vi raccomandiamo di usare solo oli specifici per armi.

CANNE: l’interno delle canne deve essere pulito e oliato dopo ogni uscita a caccia e, per eseguire quest’operazione, è consigliabile separare le canne dalla bascula.

Per la pulizia delle camere di scoppio e dell’interno delle canne, spingete attraverso la canna uno scovolo di tessuto leggermente oliato. Ripetete quest’operazione fino a quando il tessuto non uscirà pulito e privo di residui di combustione; se necessario, passate all’interno delle canne uno scovolo di bronzo con un po’ d’olio.

Quando la canna sarà completamente pulita, asciugatela con attenzione e oliatela con una pezzuola pulita. Questo proteggerà le canne fino a quando non userete nuovamente l’arma.

SUPERFICI A CONTATTO: le superfici a contatto sono soggette a sfregamenti quando si apre e si chiude il fucile e per questo motivo devono sempre essere perfettamente pulite e leggermente oliate. Non applicate troppo olio sulla bascula perché potrebbe essere assorbito dal legno.

SUPERFICI METALLICHE ESTERNE

Pulite le superfici esterne con uno straccio leggermente imbevuto di olio ed eliminate ogni impronta delle dita. E’ consigliabile di oliare il vostro fucile ogni volta che è stato maneggiato con poca attenzione oppure è stato impiegato in condizioni climatiche particolari (pioggia, alto tasso di umidità, atmosfera salina).

MECCANISMI VARI

Lasciate stare i meccanismi di sparo e gli estrattori.

LEGNO

Applicate ogni volta una moderata quantità di olio di semi di lino utilizzando uno straccio che non lasci pilucchi.

CUSTODIA

Tenete il vostro express in un posto fuori della portata dei bambini.

Sarebbe preferibile che teniate la vostra arma in un ambiente secco ma moderatamente arieggiato, lontano da forti fonti di calore perché altrimenti il legno perderebbe la naturale umidità e potrebbe

essere oggetto di crepe o rotture.

GRILLETTO REGOLABILE

1.Usando l’appropriata chiave Allen, svitate la vite di bloccaggio posizionata sul grilletto (FIG.7)

2.Spostate il grilletto fino a trovare la vostra posizione preferita ( FIG.8 )

3.Usando la chiave Allen appropriata, riavvitate la vite di bloccaggio.

SAFETYRULES

WARNING: READ THESE SAFETY RULES & OPERATORS MANUAL BEFORE HANDLING YOUR FIREARM

•Never point a firearm at anyone and always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

•Always treat all firearms as if they are loaded. Don’t rely on your gun’s “safety”.

•Firearms should be unloaded when not in use and stored in a safe and secure location. Keep firearms and ammunition away from children.

•Use correct ammunition. Only use ammunition that exactly matches the caliber or gauge markings on your firearm.

•Always wear ear and eye protection when shooting.

•Before shooting be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions.

•Never load your firearm until you are in a location where it is safe to shoot. Always keep the safety engaged until you are ready to shoot.

•Keep your finger off the trigger while loading or unloading the shotgun.

•If your gun fails to fire, keep it pointed in a safe direction, then unload it carefully avoiding exposure to breech. If your gun fires, but the report or recoil seem weak, unload it and ensure the barrel is not obstructed.

•Don’t alter or modify your gun. Use only genuine parts.

•Clean and maintain the firearm according to the instructions in this booklet.

•Keep your firearm unloaded. Never carry or store a loaded firearm in a building or a vehicle.

SERIAL NUMBER
The serial numbers of your FABARM express rifle is found on the receiver and on the monobloc.
The calibre is indicated on the barrel. The proof test marks are applied on the barrel and on the
action frame.
TRIGGER MECHANISM
The trigger mechanism on your express rifle is of the inertia type: it is the recoil energy from the
firing of the first shot which makes the second immediately available. The mechanism is controlled
by a single trigger.
SAFETY AND BARREL SELECTOR
The express rifle is on safe when the catch has been moved to the rear ( = towards the stock, when
the letter “S” appears on the action frame tang ) ( FIG. 1 ).
Always keep the shotgun on safe except when about to fire.
EXTRACTORSAUTOMATIC EJECTORS
The ASPER express rifle is with automatic ejectors :The spent ammunition will be ejected from the
gun when it is opened, whilst an unfired ammunition will simply be extracted to facilitate its removal.
TOP LEVER
The top lever acts on the locking bolt which is adjusted to the barrel hooks. A locking reserve is built
into the bolt, so that perfect barrel locking can be achieved over a long period of time. Do not be
surprised if the top lever is not aligned with the barrel. For this reason, it is not necessary to confirm
the locking of the gun with your thumb ; allow the top lever to return of its own accord.
The angle made by the top lever with respect to the barrels axis is normal and indicates that there
is some locking reserve still available.	5

ASSEMBLY

1.It is absolutely essential to remove the anti-corrosion product applied in the factory from all the metal surfaces. Give particular care to the cleaning of the barrel bores and the inside of the action frame.

2.Before assembling the express rifle, check that the chambers are empty. After having thoroughly cleaned the external metallic parts, apply one or two drops of oil on the front lateral sides of the hook, the lateral sides of the lumps and also on the forend iron (FIG. 2). Any excess of oil will not only be unnecessary but also be suitable.

3.To fit the barrels into the action frame, hold the pistol grip in the right hand with the stock under your right arm. Open the top lever with the right thumb. Using your left hand, grasp the barrel and fit the barrel hook onto the action frame hinge pins (FIG.3).

4.Holding the hook hard against the hinge pins so as to maintain proper alignment, rotate the barrel to close the shotgun (FIG. 4) and release the top lever.

5.Pull back the forend so that the forend iron comes into contact with the action frame. (FIG.5)

WARNING: During assembly, handle the shotgun gently without forcing at anytime. If the barrel is not properly engaged into the action frame or if alignment is incorrect, forcing will only damage the bearing surfaces and upset the alignment.

LOADING

Before firing the first ammunition of the day, the bore must be perfectly dry. Pass a piece of flannel through the barrel before you set off. To load the express rifle, set it to safe and insert ammunition into each chamber.

DISASSEMBLY

1.After you have made sure that no ammunition remains in the chambers, close the express rifle. Holding the stock firmly under your right arm, unlock the forend catch with the left hand, simultaneously carefully separating the forend from the barrels ( FIG.6 ).

2.Open the express rifle and carefully disengage the barrel from the action frame. Carefully reinstall the forend on the barrel. This will avoid damaging the forend.

3.The top lever can if necessary be release by pushing the cocking lever located in the bottom of the action frame.

DO NOT STRIP YOUR EXPRESS RIFLE ANY FURTHER.

Limit your stripping operations to the removal of the barrel and possibly of the forend. This is quite enough for normal maintenance. Any further stripping is best performed by a qualified gunsmith.

CLEANING

Prior to cleaning the gun, make sure that it is not loaded!

Use and handle your express rifle carefully in order to have many year of trouble free shooting. Take care of your express by handling it gently and carefully. After each hunting session, clean and oil it. For the purpose, we recommend the use of only good and fine gun oil.

BARREL: The inside of the barrel must be cleaned and oiled after every session of shooting. For that purpose, separate the barrel from the action frame.

For the chamber, push a cleaning tool equipped with an oil-soaked flannel patch through the barrel.

Repeat until the patch comes out clean and free from powder residue. If necessary, pass a bronze cleaning brush also soaked with oil through the bore. When the barrel is completely clean, dry it thoroughly and oil by using a clean flannel. This will protect the barrel until the next time you’ll use the shotgun.

BEARING SURFACE : The bearing surfaces are subject to friction and pressure when opening and closing the gun and must always be perfectly clean and coated with a light film of oil. Do not apply too much oil on the action frame so as to avoid making the wood spongy.

EXTERNAL METALLIC SURFACES

Clean the external metallic surfaces of the gun with a lightly oiled cloth and wipe off any trace of fingerprints. It is also recommended to oil the shotgun lightly each time it is submitted to bad handling or severe atmospheric conditions.

MECHANISMS

Do not try to reach the firing and ejection mechanism.

WOOD

Apply time to time moderately linseed oil with a non fluffy cloth.

STORAGE

Get into the habit of storing your express rifle out of reach of children.

Your express should be kept in a dry and moderately airy place, away from any strong source of heat so that the wood will loose any absorbed moisture without distortion or cracking.

ADJUSTABLE TRIGGER

The ASPER express rifle is equipped with an adjustable trigger under 6 positions.

1.Using the appropriate Allen wrench, loosen the lock screw which is on the trigger (FIG.7)

2.Slide the trigger and put it on your preferred position ( FIG.8 )

3.Using the appropriate Allen wrench, retighten the lock screw.

REGLESDESECURITE

•Ne jamais pointer votre arme vers une personne et toujours orienter le canon vers une direction sans danger pour autrui.

•Ne pas avoir une confiance aveugle dans la sûreté de votre arme.

•Les armes doivent toujours être déchargées lorsqu’elles ne servent pas et rangées dans un endroit sur. Ne pas laisser les armes et les munitions à la portée des enfants.

•Utilisez toujours des munitions parfaitement compatibles avec le calibre de l’arme. Reportezvous aux marquages présents sur l’arme.

•Toujours utiliser des protections auditives et des lunettes de tir.

•Avant de tirer, assurez-vous que le canon n’est pas obstrué.

•Ne chargez votre arme que lorsque vous êtes sur le pas de tir ou en début d’action de chasse. Laissez la sureté engagée jusqu’au moment de faire feu.

•Ne pas laisser votre doigt sur la détente lorsque vous chargez ou déchargez votre arme.

•Si vous avez un incident de tir, pointez votre arme dans une direction sure et déchargez soigneusement votre arme. En cas de long feu ou de cartouche très faible, déchargez l’arme puis assurez-vous que le canon n’est pas obstrué.

•Ne pas modifier votre arme. Utilisez uniquement des pièces d’origine.

•Nettoyez et entretenez votre arme suivant les consignes présentes dans ce manuel.

MARQUAGES

Le numéro de série est frappé sous la bascule et sur la frette.

Le calibre est indiqué sur la partie supérieure des canons. Les marques d’épreuve sont apposées sur les canons et dans le fond de la bascule.

MECANISME

Le mécanisme de détente de votre carabine express est du type à inertie : c’est l’énergie du recul occasionné par le départ du premier coup qui rend le second coup immédiatement disponible. Le mécanisme est commandé par une détente unique.

SURETE

L’express est en sûreté lorsque le poussoir de sûreté est en position arrière ( vers la crosse ) en laissant apparaître un «S» sur la queue de bascule ( FIG.1 ).

Gardez toujours l’arme en sûreté, jusqu’au moment du tir.

EJECTEURS AUTOMATIQUES

La carabine express ASPER est à éjecteurs automatiques : La ou les cartouches percutées seront éjectées de l’arme à la fin de son ouverture, tandis que la ou les cartouches vives seront seulement extraites pour faciliter leur enlèvement.

CLE DE FERMETURE

La clé de fermeture agit sur le verrou, qui est ajusté de manière très précise sur les crochets de canons. Il a été prévu une réserve de verrouillage, qui assure un verrouillage parfait des canons durant de nombreuses années. Ne soyez donc pas surpris si la clé de fermeture n’est pas dans l’axe des canons. Il n’est donc pas utile de confirmer du pouce le verrouillage de l’arme. Laissez
