2.1 Umgang mit dem Gerät
!
WARNUNG!
Benutzen Sie die Standklimaanlage nur für den vom Hersteller
angegebenen Verwendungszweck und führen Sie keine Änderungen oder Umbauten am Gerät durch!
Wenn die Standklimaanlage sichtbare Beschädigungen auf-
weist, darf Sie nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.
Wartung und Reparaturen an der Standklimaanlage dürfen nur
von Fachkräften durchgeführt werden, die mit den verbundenen
Gefahren bzw. den einschlägigen Vorschriften vertraut sind.
Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche
Gefahren entstehen.
Wenden Sie sich im Reparaturfall an den Service-Stützpunkt in
Ihrem Land (Adressen auf der Rückseite).
Personen (einschließlich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physi-
schen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ihrer
Unerfahrenheit oder Unkenntnis nicht in der Lage sind, das
Gerät sicher zu benutzen, sollten dieses Gerät nicht ohne
Aufsicht oder Anweisung durch eine verantwortliche Person
nutzen.
Elektrogeräte sind kein Kinderspielzeug!
Verwahren und benutzen Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.
Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass
sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass brennbare Gegenstände nicht im
Bereich des Luftaustritts gelagert bzw. montiert sind. Der
Abstand muss mindestens 50 cm betragen.
Setzen Sie die Standklimaanlage nicht in der Nähe von ent-
flammbaren Flüssigkeiten und Gasen ein.
Im Falle von Feuer lösen Sie nicht den oberen Deckel der
Standklimaanlage, sondern verwenden Sie zugelassene
Löschmittel. Verwenden Sie kein Wasser zum Löschen.
Greifen Sie nicht in Lüftungsgitter oder Lüftungsdüsen, und
stecken Sie keine Fremdgegenstände in die Anlage.

VORSICHT!
Lösen Sie bei Arbeiten (Reinigung, Wartung usw.) an der
Standklimaanlage alle Verbindungen zur Stromversorgung.

ACHTUNG!
Die Standklimaanlage ist nicht für den Betrieb in Land- und Bau-
maschinen geeignet.
Fahrzeuge mit den Standklimaanlagen RT880 und SP950 mit
Dachverdampfereinheit SP950T dürfen nur in Waschanlagen
gereinigt werden, in denen man die obere Bürste manuell
abschalten kann.
Schalten Sie die Standlimaanlage aus, bevor Sie das Führer-
haus zu Wartungszwecken kippen.
Schalten Sie die Standklimaanlage aus, bevor Sie automati-
sche Waschvorrichtungen (Waschanlagen etc.) zur Reinigung
des Fahrzeugs nutzen.
Beachten Sie, dass Sie vor dem Umklappen des Führerhauses
oder zu Wartungszwecken das restliche Kondenswasser manuell aus der Anlage ablassen (Kapitel „Kondensat absaugen (nur
SP950 mit Dachverdampfereinheit SP950T)“ auf Seite 18).
Betreiben Sie die Standklimaanlage nicht bei Außen-
temperaturen unter 0 °C.
Bitte informieren Sie sich bei Ihrem Fahrzeughersteller, ob auf-
grund des Aufbaues der Standklimaanlage eine Änderung des
Eintrags der Fahrzeughöhe in ihren Fahrzeugpapieren notwendig ist.
2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Gerätes

ACHTUNG!
Stecken Sie keine Fremdgegenstände in die Anlage.

HINWEIS
Damit das Kondenswasser aus der Verdampfereinheit auto-
matisch ablaufen kann, darf im Betrieb die Neigung zur Seite
max. 5° betragen.
Zum Schutz des Kompressors darf im Betrieb die Neigung nach
vorn max. 10° betragen. Sonst wird der Kompressor abgeschaltet. Nach 5 Minuten wird die ganze Anlage abgeschaltet.

3 Zielgruppe
Die hier gegebenen Informationen zum Gerät (Bedienungshinweise,
Umgang mit dem Gerät, Sicherheitshinweise usw.) richten sich an den
Benutzer der Standklimaanlage.
4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Die Standklimaanlage dient dazu, den Innenraum von LKWFahrerhäusern mit gekühlter und entfeuchteter Luft zu
klimatisieren.
Die Anlage ist für den Standbetrieb ausgelegt. Der Einsatz
während der Fahrt ist möglich.
Die Standklimaanlage ist nicht für den Betrieb in Land- und Baumaschinen geeignet!

5 Technische Beschreibung
Es kann mit Hilfe der Standklimaanlage eine variable Klimatisierung eines
Fahrzeuginnenraums erfolgen. Die Innenraumluft wird durch das Ansauggitter in die Anlage geführt, abgekühlt, getrocknet und durch die Ausblasdüsen zurück in den Innenraum geleitet. Die Steuerung der Anlage erfolgt
über das Bedienpanel bzw. die Fernbedienung.

Die Anlage ist mit einem Batteriewächter ausgestattet. Wird die Anlage bei
ausgeschalteter Zündung im Fahrzeug betrieben, schaltet sich die Standklimaanlage selbstständig ab, sobald die Versorgungsspannung unter einen
vordefinierten Wert abfällt.
HINWEIS
Die Standklimaanlage darf nur unter Verwendung von Montagesätzen des Herstellers installiert werden.
HINWEIS
Die Standklimaanlage ist in der Lage die Temperatur im Innenraum des Fahrzeugs bis auf einen bestimmten Wert abzusenken.
Die zu erreichende Temperatur beim Kühlen hängt von dem Fahrzeugtyp, der Umgebungstemperatur und der Kälteleistung Ihrer
Standklimaanlage ab. Zur Kälteleistung Ihrer Standklimaanlage:
siehe Kapitel „Technische Daten“ auf Seite 25.

Der Kältekreislauf der Standklimaanlage besteht aus vier Hauptkomponenten:
Kompressor
Der Kompressor saugt das eingesetzte Kältemittel R-134a an und verdichtet es. Somit werden Druck und dadurch auch die Temperatur des
Kältemittels erhöht.
Kondensator
Der eingebaute Kondensator funktioniert wie ein Kühler bzw. ein Wärmetauscher. Die vorbeiströmende Luft nimmt Wärme auf, das heiße Kältemittelgas kühlt ab und wird flüssig.
Kapillar-Rohr
Das Kapillar-Rohr drosselt das Kältemittel vom höheren Kondensationsdruck auf den niedrigeren Verdampfungsdruck.
Verdampfer
Der Verdampfer kühlt die vorbeiströmende Luft ab und entfeuchtet sie.
Das Kältemittel nimmt Wärme auf und verdampft. Die abgekühlte Luft
wird im Fahrzeuginneren über eine Luftauslasseinheit verteilt.

7 Standklimaanlage benutzen

7.1 Hinweis zur besseren Nutzung

Um eine effiziente Nutzung Ihrer WAECO CoolAir Standklimaanlage sicherzustellen, beachten Sie folgende Nutzungshinweise.
Was Sie immer machen sollten
Parken Sie Ihr Fahrzeug möglichst im Schatten.
Dunkeln Sie Ihr Fahrzeug wenn möglich ab.
Wenn Sie keine Fahrzeugklimaanlage haben, lüften Sie Ihr Fahrzeug vor
der Verwendung der Standklimaanlage gut durch. Mit einer Fahrzeugklimaanlage, sollten Sie den Innenraum vor einer Ruhepause herunterkühlen.
Halten Sie Türen und Fenster geschlossen.
Vermeiden Sie Wärmequellen im Fahrzeug.
Reduzieren Sie den Stromverbrauch durch andere Geräte, um eine mög-
lichst lange Betriebsdauer der Standklimaanlage zu gewährleisten.
Wählen Sie eine angemessene Temperatur und einen angemessenen
Betriebsmodus.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Ausblasdüsen (Abb. 1 1, Seite 3) und das
Ansauggitter (Abb. 1 2, Seite 3) nicht durch Tücher, Papier oder andere
Gegenstände abgedeckt werden.
ACHTUNG!
Bei Nichteinhaltung dieser Bedienungsanleitung haftet der
Hersteller nicht. Er haftet insbesondere nicht für jegliche
Folgeschäden, insbesondere auch nicht für solche Folgeschäden die durch den ausfallenden Betrieb der Standklimaanlage entstehen können.
Stecken Sie keine Fremdgegenstände in die Anlage.
HINWEIS
RT880 und SP950 sind als Standklimageräte für erholsame
Ruhezeiten konzipiert. Sie können während der Fahrt eingesetzt
werden, ersetzen aber nicht die motorgetriebene Fahrzeugklimaanlage.

Was Sie darüber hinaus beachten sollten
Wenn Sie die Standklimaanlage der Farbe Ihres LKW anpassen möch-
ten, lackieren Sie ausschließlich die Oberschale der Standklimaanlage.
Lackieren Sie diese nur im demontieren Zustand. Verwenden Sie möglichst helle Farben.
Waschen Sie Ihr Fahrzeug regelmäßig, verschmutzte Fahrerhäuser
heizen sich schneller auf.
Sorgen Sie dafür dass die Standklimaanlage nicht durch andere Wärme-
quellen (z. B. Abwärme von Kühl-Trailern) in ihrer Leistung beeinflusst
wird.
Wie Sie Ihre Standklimaanlage aktiv pflegen können
Führen Sie regelmäßig Sichtprüfungen der Dichtungen, der Oberschale
und der Gitter durch, idealerweise vor Saisonbeginn.
Entfernen Sie bei Bedarf Schmutz und Blätter von der Anlage.
7.2 Standklimaanlage einschalten

➤ Drücken Sie bei ausgeschalteter Anlage die Taste EIN/AUS (Abb. 2 1,
Seite 4).

✓ Der Lüfter startet auf niedriger Drehzahl.
ACHTUNG!
Schließen Sie nie alle Luftdüsen der Standklimaanlage gleichzeitig. Die Anlage würde von Innen vereisen.
HINWEIS
Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme der Standklimaanlage kann es zu
leichter Geruchsbildung kommen. Diese Geruchsbildung ist
konstruktionsbedingt und endet nach kurzer Laufzeit.
HINWEIS
Sollte die Standklimaanlage komplett ausgeschaltet sein, so kann
sie nur per Bedienpanel eingeschaltet werden. Das Einschalten
über die Fernbedienung ist nur möglich, wenn sich die Anlage im
Standby-Modus befindet. Schalten Sie bei längeren Standzeiten
die Anlage komplett aus, damit die Batterie nicht durch den
Standby-Strom belastet wird.

✓ Die LED Power (Abb. 2 8, Seite 4) leuchtet.
✓ Das Digitaldisplay (Abb. 2 5, Seite 4) zeigt den Sollwert in °C und den
Betriebsmodus (z. B.
A20 für Automatikmodus + Sollwert 20 °C) an.

7.3 Auswählen der gewünschten Raumtemperatur
Sie können eine gewünschte Raumtemperatur zwischen 17 °C und 30 °C
wählen.
➤ Drücken Sie auf dem Bedienpanel die Taste + bzw. – (Abb. 2 6/7,
Seite 4) oder auf der Fernbedienung die Taste Temperatur + bzw. –
(Abb. 3 2/3, Seite 4), um die gewünschte Raumtemperatur in 1 °C
Schritten einzustellen.
✓ Das Digitaldisplay (Abb. 2 5, Seite 4) zeigt den Betriebsmodus und die
gewünschte Raumtemperatur in °C an.

HINWEIS
Der Kompressor der Anlage wird zeitverzögert nach
ca. 90 Sekunden zugeschaltet.
HINWEIS
Sollte im Betriebsmodus I bzw. II die gewünschte Temperatur
nicht erreicht werden, so wechseln Sie in den nächst höheren
Betriebsmodus oder in den Automatikmodus.

7.4 Betriebsmodus wählen
Sie können zwischen vier Betriebsmodi und der Timerfunktion wählen:
➤ Drücken Sie auf dem Bedienpanel die Taste Betriebsmodus (Abb. 2 4,
Seite 4) oder auf der Fernbedienung die Taste Betriebsmodus + bzw. –
(Abb. 3 4/5, Seite 4) um den gewünschte Betriebsmodus einzustellen.
✓ Das Digitaldisplay (Abb. 2 5, Seite 4) zeigt mit der ersten Stelle den
gewählten Betriebsmodus an.

7.5 Kondensat absaugen (nur SP950 mit
Dachverdampfereinheit SP950T)
Das durch das vorgegebene Funktionsprinzip der Anlage entstandene
Kondenswasser wird automatisch in Intervallen während des Betriebes der
Anlage abgesaugt.
Das Kondenswasser kann bei Bedarf auch manuell abgesaugt werden:
➤ Schalten Sie die Anlage aus.
➤ Halten Sie gleichzeitig die Tasten Betriebsmodus (Abb. 2 4, Seite 4)

Wenn Sie das Fahrerhaus kippen möchten, müssen Sie vorher das
Kondenswasser manuell absaugen.
➤ Wiederholen Sie den manuellen Absaugvorgang so oft, bis die Pumpe ein
deutlich hörbares lautes Geräusch beim Absaugen erzeugt.
✓ Es befindet sich kein Kondenswasser mehr in der Anlage.
➤ Drücken Sie die Taste EIN/AUS, bis die Pumpe ausschaltet.

7.6 Standklimaanlage ausschalten
Sie können die Standklimaanlage in den Standby-Modus schalten oder
komplett ausschalten. Beachten Sie, dass die Standklimaanlage im StandbyModus Strom verbraucht. Schalten Sie die Standklimaanlage RT880 und
SP950 mit Rückwandverdampfereinheit SP950I deswegen möglichst immer
aus.
Bei der Standklimaanlage SP950 mit Dachverdampfereinheit SP950T muss
konstruktionsbedingt das Kondensat abgepumpt werden. Schalten Sie die
Standklimaanlage SP950 mit Dachverdampfereinheit SP950T deswegen
nach der Benutzung und anschließender Fahrt während der Fahrt in den
Standby-Modus. Dadurch wird Kondenswasser abgesaugt, das sich während des Betriebs und nach dem Betrieb angesammelt hat.
Schalten Sie die Standklimaanlage bei Nichtbenutzung und längeren
Pausen (z. B. über das Wochenende) komplett aus.

8.1 Warnhinweise Bedienpanel
Die Anlagensteuerung verfügt über unterschiedliche Funktionen zum Schutz
des Gerätes bzw. der Batterie. Das Auslösen einer Schutzfunktionen wird
durch folgende Hinweis-Codes auf dem Display angezeigt.

9 Wartung und Pflege
Beachten Sie bitte folgende Tipps bei der Wartung und Pflege Ihrer Standklimaanlage.

➤ Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse der Standklimaanlage und das Auslasspanel
gelegentlich mit einem feuchten Tuch.
➤ Entfernen Sie gelegentlich Laub und anderen Schmutz von den
Belüftungsöffnungen an der Standklimaanlage. Achten Sie darauf,
dass Sie dabei nicht die Anlage beschädigen.
➤ Prüfen Sie regelmäßig die Befestigung aller Elemente, die in Zusammen-
hang mit der Klimaanlage stehen.
➤ Prüfen Sie regelmäßig, ob die Anschlussleitungen unbeschädigt und
sicher befestigt sind.
➤ Prüfen Sie regelmäßig die Abdichtung aller Durchbrüche, die in
Zusammenhang mit der Klimaanlage stehen.
Nur RT880 und SP950 mit Dachverdampfereinheit SP950T
➤ Prüfen Sie jährlich die Formdichtung der Standklimaanlage zum
Fahrzeugdach auf Risse und andere Beschädigungen.
Nur SP950 mit Rückwandverdampfereinheit SP950I
➤ Reinigen Sie regelmäßig den Kondenswasserspritzschutz und den
Ansaugfilter.
Wechseln Sie den Kondenswasserspritzschutz (Abb. 4 1, Seite 5) und
den Ansaugfilter (Abb. 4 2, Seite 5) bei Bedarf aus.
ACHTUNG!
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine scharfen Reinigungs-
mittel oder harten Gegenstände, da diese das Gerät beschädigen können.
Reinigen Sie die Standklimaanlage nicht mit einem
Hochdruckreiniger. Eindringendes Wasser kann die Standklimaanlage beschädigen.

Only use the parking cooler for the purpose specified by the
manufacturer and do not make any alterations or structural
changes to the device.
Do not use the parking cooler if it is visibly damaged.
Installation and repairs to the parking cooler may only be carried
out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the risks
involved and the relevant regulations. Improper repairs can lead
to considerable hazards.
For repair service, please contact the service centre in your
country (addresses on the back).
People (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental
capacities prevent them from using this device safely may not
be allowed to operate it without the supervision of a responsible
adult.
Electrical devices are not toys.
Always keep and use the appliance out of the reach of children.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the device.
Make sure no combustible objects are stored or installed near
the air outlet. A distance of at least 50 cm must be kept.

The parking cooler is not suitable for use in agricultural or con-
struction vehicles.
Vehicles with RT880 parking cooler and SP950 with SP950T
roof evaporator unit may only be cleaned in automatic car
washes where the top brush can be switched off manually.
Switch the parking cooler off before tilting the cab for mainte-
nance.
Switch off the parking cooler before using automatic washing
equipment (automatic car washes etc.) to clean the vehicle.
Always manually drain the condensation from the system before
maintenance or tilting the cab (chapter “Extracting condensation (SP950 with SP950T roof evaporator unit only)” on
page 38).
Do not operate the parking cooler if the ambient temperature is
below 0 °C.
Please inform your vehicle manufacturer if the height entered in
your vehicle documents needs to be altered due to the installation of the parking cooler.

off automatically, the angle to the side may not exceed 5° during

In order to protect the compressor, the angle towards the front

3 Target group
The information on the device (operating instructions, handling the device,
safety instructions etc.) is intended for the user of the parking cooler.
4 Intended use
The parking cooler is used to supply the interior of the driver's cab
with cool and dehumidified air.
The system is designed for stationary use. It can be used while
driving.
The parking cooler is not suitable for use in agricultural or construction vehicles.

5 Technical description
The parking cooler can be used for variable air conditioning inside the vehicle. The air in the interior is guided into the system through the intake grille,
cooled, dried and conveyed back into the interior through the blower nozzles.
The system is operated using the control panel or the remote control.

The system is fitted with a battery monitor. If the system is operated when the
vehicle ignition is switched off, the parking cooler switches off automatically
as soon as the supply voltage falls below a set level.
NOTE
Only install the parking cooler using the manufacturer's assembly
kit.
NOTE
The parking cooler can lower the temperature within the vehicle
to a certain level. The temperature depends on the type of vehicle,
the ambient temperature and the cooling capacity of your parking
cooler. For the cooling capacity of your parking cooler, see chapter “Technical data” on page 45.

The refrigerant circuit of the parking cooler consists of four main
components:
Compressor
The compressor draws in the R-134a refrigerant and compresses it. This
raises the pressure and therefore the temperature of the refrigerant.
Condenser
The built-in condenser works like a cooler or heat exchanger. The air flowing past absorbs the heat and the hot refrigerant gas cools down and
becomes liquid.
Capillary tube
The capillary tube reduces the refrigerant from the higher condenser
pressure to the lower vaporisation pressure.
Vaporiser
The vaporiser cools down the air flowing past and dehumidifies it. The
refrigerant absorbs the heat and vaporises. The cooled air is distributed
within the vehicle through an air outlet unit.

It is recommended that you:
Park your vehicle in the shade when possible.
Shade your vehicle when possible.
If you do not have a vehicle air conditioning system, air out your vehicle
well before using the parking cooler. You should always cool down the
vehicle interior before a rest period using the vehicle air conditioning system.
Keep doors and windows closed.
Avoid any heat sources in the vehicle.
Reduce the power consumed by other devices to ensure the maximum
possible operating time of the parking cooler.
Select a suitable temperature and operating mode.
Make sure that the blower nozzles (fig. 1 1, page 3) and the intake grille
(fig. 1 2, page 3) are not covered by cloth, paper or other objects.
Always observe the following:
If you would like the parking cooler to match the colour of your vehicle,
only paint the upper shell casing of the parking cooler.
Only paint this when it has been removed. Use light colours when
possible.
Wash your vehicle regularly, as dirty driver's cabs heat up more quickly.
Make sure that the performance of the parking cooler is not affected by
other sources of heat (e.g. waste heat from cooling trailers).
How to actively care for your parking cooler
Perform regular visual checks of the seals, the upper shell casing and the
grill, ideally before the season starts.
If necessary, remove any dirt and leaves from the system.

Never close all of the air nozzles of the parking cooler
simultaneously. The device would ice up inside.
NOTE
The first time the parking cooler is used, there may be a slight
smell. This is normal and soon goes away.
NOTE
If you completely switch off the parking cooler, it can only be
switched on again using the control panel. The system can only
be switched on using the remote control if it is in standby mode. If
the system is not going to be used for a lengthy period, switch it
off completely so that the battery is not wasted supplying standby
power.
NOTE
The compressor is switched on after a delay of approx.
90 seconds.

7.3 Selecting the temperature
You can select temperatures between 17 °C and 30 °C.
➤ Press + or – (fig. 2 6/7, page 4) on the control panel or + or –
(fig. 3 2/3, page 4) on the remote control to set the temperature in 1 °C
increments.
✓ The digital display (fig. 2 5, page 4) shows the operating mode and the
selected temperature in °C.

7.4 Selecting the operating mode
You can choose between four operating modes and the timer function:
➤ Press the mode button on the control panel (fig. 2 4, page 4) or the
mode + or – (fig. 3 4/5, page 4) on the remote control to select the
mode.
✓ The first position of the digital display (fig. 2 5, page 4) shows the
selected mode.
NOTE
If mode I or II fails to achieve the selected temperature, switch to
the next mode up or to automatic mode.

7.5 Extracting condensation (SP950 with SP950T roof
evaporator unit only)
The condensated water which accumulates due to the way the system works
is automatically extracted at intervals during operation.
You can pump out the condensated water manually when necessary:
➤ Switch off the system.
➤ Press and hold the Operating mode (fig. 2 4, page 4) and – (fig. 2 7,
page 4) buttons simultaneously.
➤ In addition, press the ON/OFF button (fig. 2 1, page 4) briefly.
✓ The firmware version appears in the digital display for 5 seconds.
✓
000 then appears in the digital display and the system starts the
extraction process for 15 seconds.
You can now let go of the Operating mode (fig. 2 4, page 4) and –
(fig. 2 7, page 4) buttons.
✓ The compressor and the fan do not switch on.
✓ The system switches off automatically.

If you want to tilt the driver’s cab, you first need to drain the condensation
manually.
➤ Keep repeating this procedure until the pump starts making a clearly audi-
ble, loud noise while draining.
✓ There is then no more condensation left in the system.
➤ Press the ON/OFF button until the pump switches off.

NOTE
To stop the extraction early press the ON/OFF button until the
pump switches off.
NOTICE!
Avoid prolonged dry periods as this can damage the pump
(indicated by loud noise while draining).

7.6 Switching off the parking cooler
You can switch the parking cooler to standby mode or switch it off completely.
Note that the parking cooler consumes power in standby mode. Therefore,
switch off the RT880 parking cooler and SP950 with SP950I rear panel
evaporator unit whenever possible.
Due to the design, the condensation must be pumped off from the SP950
parking cooler with SP950T roof evaporator unit. Therefore, switch the
SP950 parking cooler with SP950T roof evaporator unit to standby mode
after use and any subsequent journey while in motion. The condensation
which accumulated during and after operation is then drained off.
Switch off the parking cooler completely when it is not in use and for longer
periods (e. g. over the weekend).

➤ Switching to standby mode:
With the unit switched on, briefly press the ON/OFF (fig. 2 1, page 4)
button or the (fig. 3 1, page 4) button on the remote control.
✓ The digital display goes out, only the blue power LED lights up.
✓ The compressor and the fan switch off.
➤ Switching the unit off completely:
With the unit switched on, press the ON/OFF (fig. 2 1, page 4) button for
3 seconds.
✓ The LEDs and digital display go out.
✓ The fan and the compressor switch off.
NOTE
You can only use the remote control to switch the parking cooler
in and out of standby mode.

8.1 Control panel warnings
The system control unit has various functions for protecting the device and
the battery. If one of these protective functions has been triggered, this is
shown by the following codes on the display.

8.2 Control panel fault messages
The “Fault” LED (fig. 2 2, page 4) lights up if there is a fault with the parking
cooler. The type of error is shown on the display by the following error codes:

9 Maintenance and care
Please observe the following tips for the maintenance and care of your parking cooler.
A
➤ Clean the housing of the parking cooler and the outlet panel occasionally
with a damp cloth.
➤ Remove leaves and other dirt from the ventilation grilles of the parking
cooler occasionally. Make sure you do not damage the system in the process.
➤ Check regularly that all the elements for the air conditioning unit are fas-
tened.
➤ Check regularly that the connection lines are undamaged and secure.
➤ Check regularly that all the through-holes for the air conditioning unit are
sealed.
RT880 and SP950 with SP950T roof evaporator unit only
➤ Check the seal between the parking cooler and the roof of the vehicle for
cracks and other damage once a year.
SP950 with SP950I rear panel evaporator unit only
➤ Clean regularly the condensation splash guard and intake filter.
If necessary, replace the condensation splash guard (fig. 4 1, page 5)
and intake filter (fig. 4 2, page 5).
NOTICE!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during
cleaning as these can damage the unit.
Do not clean the parking cooler with a high-pressure cleaner.
Exposure to water can damage the parking cooler.

Toute réparation mal effectuée risque d'entraîner de graves

des machines agricoles ou de construction.
Les véhicules équipés de climatiseurs auxiliaires RT880 et
SP950 à unité d'évaporateur de toit SP950T doivent être net-
toyés uniquement dans des stations de lavage automatique
dans lesquelles il est possible de désactiver manuellement la
brosse supérieure.
Désactivez le climatiseur auxiliaire avant d'incliner la cabine du
conducteur pour effectuer des travaux d'entretien.
Mettez le climatiseur auxiliaire hors service avant de procéder
au nettoyage du véhicule à l'aide de dispositifs de nettoyage
automatiques (stations de lavage, etc.).
Veillez à vider manuellement le reste de l'eau de condensation
avant de rabattre la cabine du conducteur ou pour effectuer des
travaux d'entretien (chapitre « Aspiration du condensat (uniquement SP950 à unité d'évaporateur de toit SP950T) », page 60).
N'utilisez pas le climatiseur auxiliaire lorsque la température
extérieure est inférieure à 0 °C.
Veuillez vous informer auprès du fabricant de votre véhicule si
vous devez modifier l'indication de la hauteur du véhicule dans
les papiers du véhicule, lorsque vous installez le climatiseur
auxiliaire.

2.2 Consignes de sécurité concernant le fonctionnement de l'appareil

N'introduisez aucun corps étranger dans le climatiseur.

REMARQUE
L'inclinaison latérale ne doit pas dépasser 5° pendant le service
afin que l'eau de condensation s'écoule automatiquement de
l'évaporateur.
L'inclinaison vers l'avant ne doit pas dépasser 10° pendant le
service afin de protéger le compresseur. Cela éteindrait le
compresseur. L'ensemble de l'installation s'éteint au bout de
5 minutes.
3 Groupe cible
Les informations concernant l'appareil (instructions d'utilisation, précautions
d'usage, consignes de sécurité, etc.) s'adressent à l'utilisateur du climatiseur
auxiliaire.
4 Usage conforme
Le climatiseur auxiliaire sert à climatiser l'habitacle des cabines de
camions avec de l'air refroidi et déshumidifié.
Le climatiseur est conçu pour une utilisation à l'arrêt. Il est possible
de l'utiliser pendant la marche.

5 Description technique
Le climatiseur auxiliaire permet une climatisation variable de l'intérieur d'un
véhicule. L'air de l'intérieur du véhicule est conduit, refroidi et séché par la
grille d'aspiration dans le climatiseur et renvoyé à l'intérieur du véhicule par
les buses de ventilation. Le climatiseur se commande à l'aide du panneau de
commande ou de la télécommande.

Le climatiseur est équipé d'un protecteur de batterie. Si le climatiseur est mis
en service alors que l'allumage du véhicule est éteint, il s'éteint automatiquement dès que la tension d'alimentation descend en dessous d'une valeur
prédéfinie.
Le circuit de refroidissement du climatiseur auxiliaire comprend
4 composants principaux :
Compresseur
Le compresseur aspire le frigorigène R-134a utilisé et le comprime. Cela
fait augmenter la pression et, par la même, la température du frigorigène.
Condenseur
Le condensateur intégré fonctionne comme un refroidisseur ou un échangeur thermique. L'air qui circule absorbe la chaleur, le gaz frigorigène
chaud refroidit et se liquéfie.
Tuyau capillaire
Le tuyau capillaire réduit le frigorigène en faisant passer la pression de
condensation élevée à la faible pression d'évaporation.
Evaporateur
L'évaporateur refroidit et déshumidifie l'air qui circule. Le frigorigène
absorbe la chaleur et s'évapore. L'air rafraîchi est diffusé dans l'habitacle
du véhicule par les sorties d'air.
REMARQUE
Le climatiseur auxiliaire peut réduire la température de l'intérieur
du véhicule jusqu'à une certaine température. La température
pouvant être atteinte varie en fonction du type de véhicule, de la
température ambiante et de la puissance frigorifique de votre
climatiseur auxiliaire. Pour connaître la puissance frigorifique de
votre climatiseur auxiliaire, cf.
chapitre « Caractéristiques
techniques », page 68.

7.1 Consignes optimisant l'utilisation de l'appareil

Pour garantir un fonctionnement optimal de votre climatiseur auxiliaire
WAECO CoolAir, veuillez respecter les consignes d'utilisation suivantes :
Ce que vous devriez toujours faire
Garez votre véhicule à l'ombre si cela est possible.
Camouflez votre véhicule si cela est possible.
Si votre véhicule ne dispose pas d'un climatiseur, aérez longtemps votre
véhicule avant d'utiliser le climatiseur auxiliaire. Si votre véhicule dispose
d'un climatiseur, refroidissez l'intérieur du véhicule avant de prendre une
pause.
Laissez les portes et les fenêtres fermées.
Evitez les sources de chaleur dans le véhicule.
Réduisez la consommation de courant des autres appareils afin de garan-
tir la plus longue durée de vie possible du climatiseur auxiliaire.
Choisissez une température adéquate et un mode de fonctionnement
approprié.
Veillez à ce que les buses de ventilation (fig. 1 1, page 3) et la grille
d'aspiration (fig. 1 2, page 3) ne soient pas recouvertes par du papier,
des mouchoirs ou d'autres objets.
AVIS !
Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de non respect
de cette notice d'utilisation. Il décline notamment toute responsabilité pour tous les dommages consécutifs, en particulier
pour les dommages consécutifs à une panne du climatiseur
auxiliaire.
N'introduisez aucun corps étranger dans le climatiseur.
REMARQUE
RT880 et SP950 sont conçus comme climatiseurs auxiliaires
pour des temps de repos réparateurs. Ils peuvent être utilisés
pendant la conduite, mais ne remplacent pas la climatisation du
véhicule actionnée par le moteur.

Ce à quoi vous devriez également faire attention :
Si vous souhaitez adapter le climatiseur auxiliaire à la couleur de votre
camion, ne peignez que la coquille supérieure du climatiseur auxiliaire.
Ne le peignez que lorsqu'il est démonté. Utilisez si possible des couleurs
claires.
Lavez votre véhicule régulièrement, les cabines sales se réchauffent plus
vite.
Veillez à ce que le fonctionnement du climatiseur auxiliaire ne soit pas
perturbé par d'autres sources de chaleur (p. ex. chaleur de la remorque
frigorifique).
Comment entretenir activement votre climatiseur auxiliaire
Effectuez régulièrement des contrôles visuels des joints, de la coquille
supérieure et de la grille, idéalement avant le début de la saison.
Retirez si besoin la saleté et les feuilles du climatiseur.
7.2 Allumer le climatiseur auxiliaire

MARCHE/ARRET (fig. 2 1, page 4).

Ne fermez jamais toutes les buses du climatiseur auxiliaire en
même temps. Le climatiseur givrerait sinon de l'intérieur.
REMARQUE
Lors de la première mise en service du climatiseur auxiliaire, il est
possible qu'une légère odeur se dégage. Cette formation d'odeur
est liée à la conception de l'installation et disparaît au bout de
quelques instants.
REMARQUE
Si le climatiseur auxiliaire est complètement désactivé, vous ne
pouvez le mettre en marche qu'à l'aide du panneau de commande. Il ne peut être mis en marche avec la télécommande que
s'il se trouve en mode veille. Si le climatiseur doit rester éteint
pendant une durée prolongée, désactivez-le entièrement afin
d'économiser la batterie. Le mode veille consomme en effet du
courant.

Vous avez le choix entre quatre modes de fonctionnement et disposez également d'une fonction d'horloge programmable :

pour sélectionner le mode de fonctionnement souhaité.

7.5 Aspiration du condensat (uniquement SP950 à
unité d'évaporateur de toit SP950T)
Les eaux condensées que crée le principe de fonctionnement du climatiseur
sont automatiquement aspirées à intervalles réguliers pendant que le climatiseur est en marche.
Vous pouvez, si besoin est, aspirer aussi manuellement les eaux condensées :
➤ Mettez le climatiseur à l'arrêt.
➤ Appuyez simultanément sur les touches Mode de fonctionnement
(fig. 2 4, page 4) et – (fig. 2 7, page 4).
➤ Appuyez également brièvement sur la touche MARCHE/ARRET
(fig. 2 1, page 4).
✓ L'écran numérique affiche la version du logiciel interne durant
5 secondes.
✓ L'écran indique ensuite
000 et le climatiseur déclenche l'aspiration qui
dure 15 secondes.
Vous pouvez maintenant relâcher les touches Mode de fonctionnement
(fig. 2 4, page 4) et – (fig. 2 7, page 4).
✓ Le compresseur et le ventilateur ne se déclenchent pas.
✓ Le climatiseur s'éteint automatiquement.

Si vous souhaitez basculer la cabine, vous devez au préalable aspirer
manuellement l’eau condensée.
➤ Répétez la procédure manuelle d’aspiration jusqu’à ce que la pompe
émette un bruit nettement audible lors de l’aspiration.
✓ Il n’y a plus d’eau condensée dans l’installation.
➤ Appuyez sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT jusqu’à ce que la pompe
s’éteigne.
REMARQUE
Afin d'interrompre l'aspiration avant la fin, appuyez sur la touche
MARCHE/ARRET jusqu'à ce que la pompe s'éteigne.

7.6 Eteindre le climatiseur auxiliaire
Vous pouvez soit mettre le climatiseur auxiliaire en mode veille, soit l'éteindre
complètement. Notez que le climatiseur auxiliaire consomme de l'énergie
lorsqu'il se trouve en mode veille. Dans la mesure du possible, éteignez donc
toujours le climatiseur auxiliaire RT880 et SP950 à unité d'évaporateur pour
paroi arrière SP950I.
Sur le climatiseur auxiliaire SP950 à unité d'évaporateur de toit SP950T, le
condensat doit être pompé du fait de la construction. Mettez donc le climatiseur auxiliaire SP950 à unité d'évaporateur de toit SP950T en mode de veille
après l'utilisation et pendant le trajet suivant. Les eaux condensées qui se
sont accumulées pendant et après le fonctionnement sont ainsi aspirées.
Lorsque vous n’utilisez pas le climatiseur auxiliaire ou en cas de longues
pauses (week-end, par exemple), éteignez-le complètement.

➤ Mise en mode veille :
Lorsque le climatiseur est en marche, appuyez brièvement sur la touche
MARCHE/ARRET (fig. 2 1, page 4) ou sur la touche (fig. 3 1,
page 4) de la télécommande.
✓ Le LED Power bleu est allumé, mais l’écran numérique s’éteint.
✓ Le compresseur et le ventilateur s’éteignent.
➤ Arrêt complet :
Lorsque le climatiseur est en marche, appuyez sur la touche

Évitez un fonctionnement à vide prolongé, car cela peut endommager la pompe (fort bruit lors de l’aspiration).

Veuillez respecter les consignes suivantes pour la maintenance et l'entretien
de votre climatiseur auxiliaire.

➤ Nettoyez de temps à autre le boîtier du climatiseur auxiliaire et l'unité de
sortie avec un chiffon humide.
➤ Enlevez de temps à autre la poussière et autres salissures qui
encombrent les orifices d'aération du climatiseur auxiliaire. Veillez à ne
pas endommager le climatiseur.
➤ Vérifiez régulièrement la fixation de tous les éléments liés au climatiseur.
➤ Vérifiez régulièrement que les conduites de raccordement ne sont pas
endommagées et sont bien fixées.
➤ Vérifiez régulièrement l'étanchéité de toutes les ouvertures liées au clima-
tiseur.

No ponga en funcionamiento este equipo de aire acondicionado
con temperaturas exteriores por debajo de los 0 °C.
Consulte al fabricante del vehículo si el montaje del equipo de
aire acondicionado a motor parado hace necesario modificar
los datos relativos a la altura del vehículo en la documentación
del mismo.
2.2 Seguridad durante el funcionamiento del aparato

No inserte en el equipo objetos ajenos a él.

NOTA
A fin de que el agua de condensación pueda salir automática-
mente del evaporador, la inclinación lateral no puede superar
un ángulo de 5° durante el funcionamiento.
A fin de no dañar el compresor, la inclinación hacia delante no
debe superar un ángulo de 10°. De lo contrario, se desactivaría
el compresor y tras 5 minutos se apagaría todo el equipo.

El equipo de aire acondicionado a motor parado sirve para climatizar el espacio interior de las cabinas de los camiones con aire refrigerado y deshumedecido.
El equipo está concebido para su uso a motor parado. También se
puede emplear durante la conducción.
No es adecuado para un uso en maquinaria agrícola o de construcción.

5 Descripción técnica
Con el equipo de aire acondicionado a motor se climatiza según sea necesario el habitáculo del vehículo. El aire del habitáculo es conducido a través
de la rejilla de aspiración al equipo, donde se refrigera y seca para finalmente
volver al habitáculo a través de las boquillas. El control del equipo se realiza
con el panel de control o el mando a distancia.

Este equipo está provisto de un controlador de la batería. En caso de poner
en funcionamiento el equipo en el vehículo con el contacto apagado, el

El circuito de refrigeración del equipo de aire acondicionado a motor parado
consta de cuatro componentes principales:
Compresor
El compresor aspira el refrigerante R-134a y lo condensa. De este modo,
se aumenta la presión y, con ello, también la temperatura del refrigerante.
Condensador
El condensador integrado funciona como un radiador o un intercambiador
de calor. El aire que circula absorbe calor, el gas refrigerante caliente se
enfría y se licúa.
Tubo capilar
El tubo capilar disminuye la presión del refrigerante, que pasa de la alta
presión de condensación a una presión de evaporación más baja.
Evaporador
El evaporador enfría el aire que circula y lo deshumedece. El refrigerante
absorbe calor y se evapora. El aire enfriado se distribuye en el habitáculo
del vehículo a través de una unidad de salida de aire.

7.1 Instrucciones para un uso óptimo

Para garantizar un uso eficaz de su equipo de aire acondicionado a motor
parado WAECO CoolAir, siga las siguientes indicaciones de uso.
Lo que siempre debería hacer
Aparque, siempre que sea posible, el vehículo en la sombra.
Si es posible, cubra las ventanas del vehículo.
Si su vehículo no tiene un equipo de aire acondicionado propio, ventílelo
bien antes de utilizar el equipo a motor parado. Con un equipo de aire
acondicionado propio del vehículo, debe enfriar el habitáculo antes de
tomar un descanso.
Mantenga las puertas y ventanas cerradas.
Evite fuentes de calor en el vehículo.
Reduzca el consumo de corriente a través de otros aparatos para así
garantizar la mayor duración posible del equipo de aire acondicionado a
motor parado.
Seleccione una temperatura y un modo de funcionamiento adecuados.
Preste atención a que las boquillas (fig. 1 1, página 3) y la rejilla de aspi-
ración (fig. 1 2, página 3) no estén cubiertas con paños, papel u otros
objetos.
NOTA
RT880 y SP950 están concebidos como equipos de aire acondicionado para funcionamiento con el vehículo parado a fin de que
conductor y viajeros se puedan permitir un cómodo descanso.
También se puede utilizar durante la conducción, pero no sustituye al equipo de aire acondicionado propio del vehículo con funcionamiento a motor.

Además, también debe tener en cuenta lo siguiente:
Si quiere adaptar el equipo de aire acondicionado a motor parado al color
de su camión, pinte únicamente la cubierta superior del equipo.
Píntela sólo estando desmontada. Utilice, en la medida de lo posible,
colores claros.
Lave el vehículo con regularidad, pues las cabinas sucias se calientan
con más rapidez.
Cuide de que la potencia del equipo de aire acondicionado no se vea
afectada por otras fuentes de calor (por ejemplo, calor de escape de
tráilers de refrigeración).
Cómo cuidar activamente su equipo de aire acondicionado a motor
parado
Lleve a cabo con regularidad inspecciones visuales de las juntas, la
cubierta superior y la rejilla, sobre todo antes de que comience la
temporada.
Limpie el equipo y elimine la hojarasca del equipo cuando sea necesario.
7.2 Encender el equipo de aire acondicionado a motor
parado

Nunca cierre simultáneamente todas las boquillas de aire del
equipo, pues éste se congelaría por dentro.
NOTA
Al poner en funcionamiento el equipo por primera vez se puede
generar un ligero olor. Éste se produce debido a los procesos de
fabricación y desaparece después de unos momentos.
NOTA
Si el equipo de aire acondicionado a motor parado está completamente apagado, sólo se puede encender con el panel de control. Sólo es posible encenderlo con el mando a distancia cuando
el equipo está en modo standby. Apague el equipo completamente para pausas prolongadas a fin de no gastar la batería con
la corriente de standby.

ajustar la temperatura que desee en pasos de 1 °C.

7.4 Seleccionar el modo de funcionamiento
Puede elegir entre 4 modos de funcionamiento y la función de Timer:

– (fig. 3 4/5, página 4) para ajustar el modo de funcionamiento que
desee.

7.5 Aspirar el condensado (solo en SP950 con
evaporador de techo SP950T)
El agua de condensación que se genera debido al principio de funcionamiento del equipo se aspira automáticamente en intervalos durante el funcionamiento.
El agua de condensación también se puede aspirar de forma manual en
caso de ser necesario:
➤ Apague el equipo.
➤ Pulse a la vez las teclas Modo de funcionamiento (fig. 2 4, página 4)
y – (fig. 2 7, página 4) y manténgalas pulsadas.
➤ Pulse también brevemente la tecla ON/OFF (fig. 2 1, página 4).
✓ Durante 5 segundos, la pantalla digital muestra la versión de firmware.
✓ Seguidamente, la pantalla digital muestra
000 y el equipo lleva a cabo
durante 15 segundos el proceso de aspiración.
Ahora puede soltar las teclas Modo de funcionamiento (fig. 2 4,
página 4) y – (fig. 2 7, página 4).
✓ El compresor y el ventilador no se encienden.
✓ El equipo se apaga de forma automática.

Si desea inclinar la cabina del conductor, antes deberá aspirar manualmente
el agua de condensación.
➤ Repita el procedimiento de aspiración manual hasta que la bomba haga
un ruido alto y claramente audible al aspirar.
✓ En ese momento ya no habrá agua de condensación en la instalación.
➤ Pulse la tecla ON/OFF hasta que la bomba se apague.

NOTA
Para dejar de aspirar antes, pulse la tecla ON/OFF hasta que la
bomba se apague.
¡AVISO!
Evite un funcionamiento en seco prolongado (cuando oiga un
ruido alto al aspirar) puesto que la bomba puede quedar dañada.

7.6 Apagar el equipo de aire acondicionado a motor
parado
Puede conmutar el equipo de aire acondicionado para funcionamiento con
motor parado al modo de standby o apagarlo por completo. Tenga en cuenta
que en modo de standby el equipo sigue consumiendo corriente. Por consiguiente, siempre que sea posible apague los equipos de aire acondicionado
para funcionamiento con motor parado RT880 y SP950 con evaporador en
la pared trasera SP950I.
Debido a su construcción, en el equipo de aire acondicionado para funcionamiento con motor parado SP950 con evaporador de techo SP950T el condensado se debe extraer por bombeo. Por consiguiente, tras usar el equipo
de aire acondicionado para funcionamiento con motor parado SP950 con
evaporador de techo SP950T e iniciar la marcha, conmútelo a modo standby
durante la marcha. Así se aspirará el condensado de agua que se ha acumulado durante y después del funcionamiento.
Apague el equipo de aire acondicionado a motor parado cuando no lo vaya
a utilizar durante cierto tiempo (por ejemplo, el fin de semana).

➤ Para conmutar al modo standby:
Estando el equipo encendido, pulse brevemente la tecla ON/OFF
(fig. 2 1, página 4) o la tecla (fig. 3 1, página 4) del control remoto.
✓ La pantalla digital se apaga y solo se ilumina el LED de potencia azul.
✓ El compresor y el ventilador se apagan.
➤ Para apagar por completo:
Estando el equipo encendido, pulse la tecla ON/OFF (fig. 2 1, página 4)
durante 3 segundos.
✓ Se apagan los LEDs y la pantalla digital.
✓ El ventilador y el compresor se apagan.
NOTA
Con el control remoto solo se puede conmutar el equipo al modo
standby o activarlo a partir del modo standby.

9 Mantenimiento y cuidado
Preste atención a los siguientes consejos para el mantenimiento y cuidado
de su equipo de aire acondicionado a motor parado.

➤ Limpie de vez en cuando la carcasa y el panel de salida de aire con un
paño húmedo.
➤ Retire de vez en cuando la hojarasca y otro tipo de suciedad de las aber-
turas de ventilación del equipo. Al hacerlo, asegúrese de no dañar el
equipo.
➤ Compruebe periódicamente la sujeción de todos los elementos relaciona-
dos con el equipo de aire acondicionado.
➤ Compruebe periódicamente que los cables de conexión no estén daña-
dos y estén bien sujetos.
➤ Compruebe periódicamente el sellado de todas las aberturas relaciona-
das con el equipo de aire acondicionado.
Solo en RT880 y SP950 con evaporador de techo SP950T
➤ Compruebe anualmente si la junta del equipo que da al techo del vehículo
presenta desgarros u otros daños.
Solo en SP950 con evaporador en la pared trasera SP950I
➤ Limpie periódicamente el elemento de protección ante salpicaduras de
agua condensada y el filtro de aspiración.

2.1 Utilizzo dell'apparecchio
!
AVVERTENZA!
Utilizzare il climatizzatore a motore spento esclusivamente per
l'uso previsto dal produttore e non eseguire modifiche o trasformazioni dell'apparecchio!
Se il climatizzatore a motore spento presenta difetti visibili, evi-
tare di metterlo in funzione.
I lavori di manutenzione e di riparazione del climatizzatore a
motore spento devono essere effettuati solo da uno specialista,
informato sui pericoli connessi e sulle relative prescrizioni. Le
riparazioni effettuate in modo scorretto potrebbero causare
rischi enormi.
In caso di riparazioni rivolgersi al Centro di assistenza del proprio Paese (l'indirizzo si trova sul retro di questo manuale).
Persone (bambini compresi) che a causa della proprie capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, oppure che a causa della propria
inesperienza e scarsa conoscenza non siano in grado di utilizzare l'apparecchio in modo sicuro, devono evitare di utilizzarlo
se non in presenza e seguendo le istruzioni di una persona per
loro responsabile.
Gli elettrodomestici non sono giocattoli!
Conservare e impiegare l'apparecchio lontano dalla portata dei
bambini.
Non lasciare soli i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con
l'apparecchio.
Assicurarsi che nella zona di fuoriuscita dell'aria non siano col-
locati o montati oggetti infiammabili. La distanza deve essere di
almeno 50 cm.
Non utilizzare il climatizzatore a motore spento nelle vicinanze
di liquidi e gas infiammabili.
In caso di incendio non rimuovere il coperchio superiore del cli-
matizzatore a motore spento, bensì utilizzare un agente estinguente autorizzato. Non tentare di estinguere l'incendio con
acqua.
Non inserire le mani nella griglia o nelle bocchette di aerazione
e non introdurre nessun oggetto esterno nell'impianto.

Staccare sempre tutte le linee per l'alimentazione elettrica qua-
lora si eseguano lavori sul climatizzatore a motore spento (pulizia, manutenzione ecc.)!

AVVISO!
Il climatizzatore a motore spento non è adatto all'impiego su
macchine agricole ed edili.
I veicoli con gli impianti di climatizzazione a motore spento
RT880 e SP950 con evaporatore a tetto SP950T vanno lavati
solo in stazioni di autolavaggio in cui è possibile disattivare
manualmente le spazzole superiori.
Spegnere il climatizzatore a motore spento prima di ribaltare la
cabina di guida per motivi di manutenzione.
Spegnere il climatizzatore a motore spento prima di utilizzare
dispositivi di lavaggio automatico (stazioni di autolavaggio ecc.)
per la pulizia del veicolo.
Ricordarsi che prima di ribaltare la cabina di guida o di eseguire
lavori di manutenzione è necessario scaricare dall'impianto
l'acqua di condensazione rimasta manualmente (capitolo “Aspirazione della condensa (solo SP950 con evaporatore a tetto
SP950T)” a pagina 104).
Non utilizzare il climatizzatore a motore spento con temperature
esterne inferiori a 0 °C.
Si prega di informarsi presso il produttore del proprio veicolo se,
in seguito all'installazione del climatizzatore a motore spento, è
necessaria una modifica dell'altezza del veicolo dichiarata sulla
carta di circolazione.

2.2 Sicurezza durante il funzionamento
dell'apparecchio

Non introdurre nessun oggetto esterno nell'impianto.

NOTA
In modo tale che l'acqua di condensazione possa essere
espulsa automaticamente dall'unità di evaporazione, durante
l'esercizio la pendenza laterale può essere al massimo di 5°.
Per proteggere il compressore, durante l'esercizio la pendenza
in avanti non deve essere superiore ai 10°, altrimenti il compressore si spegne. L'intero impianto si spegne dopo 5 minuti.
3 Gruppi target
Le informazioni sull'apparecchio qui riportate (istruzioni per l'uso, utilizzo
dell'apparecchio, indicazioni di sicurezza ecc.) si rivolgono all'utente del climatizzatore a motore spento.
4 Uso conforme alla destinazione
Il climatizzatore a motore spento serve per climatizzare l'abitacolo
degli autocarri con aria fresca e deumidificata.
L'impianto è stato realizzato per il funzionamento durante la sosta.
È possibile l'utilizzo anche durante la marcia.
Il climatizzatore a motore spento non è adatto all'impiego su macchine agricole ed edili.

5 Descrizione tecnica
Con l'ausilio del climatizzatore a motore spento è possibile ottenere una climatizzazione variabile dell'abitacolo di un veicolo. L'aria nell'abitacolo viene
condotta nell'impianto attraverso le griglie di aspirazione, raffreddata e asciugata e immessa nuovamente nell'abitacolo attraverso le bocchette di scarico.
Il comando dell'impianto avviene tramite il pannello di controllo o il comando
a distanza.

L'impianto è provvisto di un dispositivo di controllo automatico della batteria.
Se l'impianto viene azionato a motore spento all'interno del veicolo, il climatizzatore a motore spento si spegne automaticamente non appena la tensione di alimentazione scende al di sotto di un valore predefinito.
Il ciclo frigorigeno del climatizzatore a motore spento è formato da quattro
componenti principali:
Compressore
Il compressore aspira il refrigerante utilizzato R-134a e lo comprime. In
questo modo aumenta la pressione e di conseguenza anche la temperatura del refrigerante.
Condensatore
Il condensatore integrato funziona come un radiatore o uno scambiatore
di calore. L'aria circolante si riscalda, il gas refrigerante caldo si raffredda
e si fluidifica.
Tubo capillare
Il tubo capillare limita il refrigerante, portandolo da un'alta pressione di
condensazione a una minore pressione di evaporizzazione.
Evaporatore
L'evaporatore raffredda l'aria circolante e la deumidifica. Il refrigerante
assorbe il calore ed evapora. L'aria raffreddata viene inviata nell'abitacolo
del veicolo attraverso un'unità di fuoriuscita dell'aria.
NOTA
Il climatizzatore a motore spento è in grado di abbassare la temperatura dell'abitacolo del veicolo fino a raggiungere un determinato valore. La temperatura raggiungibile per il raffreddamento
dipende dal modello del veicolo, dalla temperatura ambiente e
dalla capacità di raffreddamento del proprio climatizzatore a

7.1 Consiglio per l'uso ottimale
I
Per garantire un utilizzo efficiente del proprio climatizzatore a motore spento
CoolAir di WAECO, prestare attenzione alle seguenti indicazioni di impiego.
Cosa bisogna fare
Parcheggiare il proprio veicolo possibilmente all'ombra.
Se possibile oscurare il veicolo.
Se il veicolo non dispone di un impianto di climatizzazione, arieggiarlo
bene prima di usare il climatizzatore a motore spento. Se il veicolo
dispone di un impianto di climatizzazione, raffreddare l'abitacolo prima di
una pausa di riposo.
Chiudere sportelli e finestrini.
Evitare che nel veicolo ci siano fonti di calore.
Ridurre il consumo di corrente di altri apparecchi per garantire il più pos-
sibile una lunga durata di funzionamento del climatizzatore a motore
spento.
Impostare una temperatura ed un modo operativo adeguati.
Assicurarsi che le bocchette di scarico (fig. 1 1, pagina 3) e le griglie di
aspirazione (fig. 1 2, pagina 3) non siano ostruite da panni, carta o altri
oggetti.

NOTA
RT880 e SP950 sono concepiti come climatizzatori a motore
spento per pause di riposo. Possono essere impiegati durante la
marcia, ma non sostituiscono l'impianto di climatizzazione del veicolo azionato a motore.
