General notes
Internet access is required for full use of the V-ZUG-Home option.
Connecting network cable
▸ Connect the network cable* to the cable connection for the V-ZUG-Home module.

Establishing connection
▸ Use one of the following options for connecting the V-ZUG appliance to the home network:
Connection option Additionally required hardware
1 Ethernet Network cable* for connection between V-ZUG appliance and router/boxR*
2 Powerline adapter Powerline adapter* and network cable* for connection between V-ZUG appliance, power-
line adapter and router/boxR*
3 Wireless bridge Wireless bridge* and network cable* for connection between V-ZUG appliance, wireless
bridge and router/boxR*
The wireless bridge must be accessible at all times.
The wireless bridge must be installed not behind the appliance, but besides it or in an adjacent unit. Connection
problems may occur if it is not positioned correctly.
* Not included in the scope of delivery and not available from V-ZUG Ltd.

Enabling V-ZUG-Home on the appliance
▸ If the appliance is switched off: First touch .
▸ Touch the button.
– The main user settings menu appears in the display.
▸ Swipe to select the «V-ZUG-Home» user setting.
– The V-ZUG-Home submenu appears in the display.
▸ Touch «Mode».
– The V-ZUG-Home mode submenu appears in the display.
▸ Touch «Display» or «Operate and display».
– The selected user setting is being saved.
▸ Touch the button.
– The setting is saved.
Connecting with a smartphone or tablet
Minimum system requirements
▪ From Android version 5.1
▪ From iOS version 10
▪ Connection to home network (e.g. via WLAN)
