REAR GAS CONNECTIONS
■ Rear gas connections eliminate piping into front right and/or
left manifolds to give a better appearance and eliminate
unnecessary hood space.
■ Can be used on single or multiple unit batteries.
■ Rear gas connections allow additional gas to be supplied in
large battery installations. Example: An extremely large, high
B.T.U. battery requires gas to be brought in not only on the
ends of the front manifold but supplemental gas from the rear.

MANIFOLD CLOSURE PLATES
■ Manifold closure plate(s) are only available on equipment with
one or both capped front manifold.
■ These closure plates can be supplied when specified to cover
unsightly pipe caps on the front manifold.
■ Makes cleaning easier by making the bodyside flush without
any openings.
■ Available in painted or stainless steel to match bodyside of
equipment.
MANIFOLD END CAPS
■ Capped left manifolds utilize a special low profile pipe cap.
When used on the left front end of the manifold, the manifold
and cap are within the left body side.
■ Capped right manifolds can use a standard pipe cap due to the
front manifold being shorter on the right side. A capped right
manifold is also fitted within the right bodyside.
■ At any time other heavy duty equipment can be added to the
left or right of any front manifold equipment having capped
manifolds by simply removing the cap and installing 1
union.

supplied with 3/4" gas connection are recommended for individual range use only.
3) The number of tee connections required in a battery for proper operation is determined by the number of units, their
BTU consumption and the type of gas being used.
