Assembly Precautions
1. Assemble only according to these instructions. Improper assembly can create hazards.
2. Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work gloves during assembly.
3. Keep assembly area clean and well lit.
Use Precautions
1. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near this item.
2. Use as intended only.
3. Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged.
4. Do not exceed listed weight capacity for individual components, evenly distributed from bottom up, or overall combined weight capacity of 350 lb. Be aware of dynamic loading! Sudden load movement may briefly create excess load causing product failure.
5. Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.
4. Keep bystanders out of the area during assembly.
5. Do not assemble when tired or when under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
6. Weight capacity and other product capabilities apply to properly and completely assembled product only.
6. Operate and store the Cart on a flat, dry, level surface.
7. Read welding equipment manual before use.
8. If using gas cylinders, be especially careful to prevent tipping or damage to the cylinders. Follow gas cylinder supplier’s and gas supplier’s safety instructions at all times.
9. People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference or pacemaker failure.

Assembly Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages,
refer to Parts List and Assembly Diagram on page 10.
Setup
1. Before starting, gather all hardware and organize it into piles:
a. Bolt (4) will be used to attach the
Lower Platform and Hook B.
b. Bolt (8) will be used to attach the
End Frame and Handles.
c. Bolt (20) will be used to attach the Tool
Box Mount and Adjustable Stop.
Attach Platforms and Swivel Casters
Note: Finger tighten all connections.
1. Attach the Lower Platform (14) to the Left Side Frame (19) and Right Side Frame (15) using two Bolts (4), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26).
d. Bolt (28) will be used to attach the Upper
Platform, Cylinder Rack and Hook A.
e. Flat Washer (27) will be used with
E-Clip (1) to attach the Wheels.
f. Flat Washer (21) and Spring Washer (26)
will be used with all Bolts.
g. Nut (22) will be used to attach the Adjustable Stop.
2. Assemble the Welding Cart on a flat, level, hard and smooth surface.

2. Attach Upper Platform (13) to Side Frames using four Bolts (28), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26).
Note: The Upper Platform will be at a slight angle.
3. Screw the two Swivel Casters (16) into the front corners of the Lower Platform, and Left and Right Side Frames.
4. Make sure Platforms are level, then tighten all connections securely.

Attach Wheels
1. Insert the Axle (12) through the Lower Platform.
2. Slide a Spacer (3), with large side facing in, and then a Wheel (2) onto the Axle.
3. Secure the Wheel with a Flat Washer (27) and E-Clip (1).
4. Repeat for the other Wheel.
Attach Adjustable Stop
Attach the Adjustable Stop (18) to the Upper Platform using two Bolts (20), Flat Washers (21), Spring Washers (26), and Nuts (22).

Attach Tool Box Shelf
Attach the Tool Box Shelf (17) to the under side of the Upper Platform using two Bolts (20), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26). Tighten securely.

Attach Cylinder Rack and Hooks to End Frame
1. Attach the Cylinder Rack (11) to the End Frame (9) using three Bolts (28), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26). Tighten securely.
2. Attach two Hooks B (7) to the End Frame, one to each side, using four Bolts (4), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26). Tighten securely.
Attach Hooks to Handles
Attach a Hook B (7) to the Right Handle (24) and another to the Left Handle (25) using four Bolts (4), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26). Tighten securely.

Attach End Frame
Attach the End Frame Assembly to the Side Frames using four Bolts (8), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26). Tighten securely.

Attach Handles
Attach the Handle assemblies to the Side Frames using four Bolts (8), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26). Finger tighten until Cross Bar has been attached.

1. Attach two Hooks A (6) to the Cross Bar (5) using two Bolts (28), Flat Washers (21), and Spring Washers (26).
2. Insert the pegs on the Cross Bar into the holes on the Hooks. Push down to secure Cross Bar in place.
3. Tighten Handle connections securely.

Install Tool Box and Chains
1. Slide the Tool Box (23) into the Tool Box Shelf.
2. Connect both Chains (10), one at Cylinder Rack and the other at the end of the Upper Platform.
3. Check and tighten all hardware after assembly.

1. Make sure that the welder and all accessories combined do not exceed the weight capacity of this Cart.
2. Place gas cylinder on Lower Platform, then secure in place by locking the Chains around the Cylinder into the slots on the Cylinder Rack and Upper Platform.
3. Place the welder on the Upper Platform with its back against the Stops.
4. Loosen hardware on the Adjustable Stop. Slide the Adjustable Stop against the front of welder, then tighten hardware.
5. Make sure everything is secure and the Cart is well balanced before moving the Cart. If the welder is unstable or does not fit securely on the Upper Platform, do not use that welder with this Cart.

Maintenance
Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must
be performed only by a qualified technician.
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM TOOL FAILURE: Do not use damaged equipment. If any part becomes damaged, have the problem corrected before further use.
1. PERIODICALLY, inspect the general condition of the Cart. Check for:
• loose hardware,
• misalignment or binding of moving parts,
• Caster swivel function and movement,
• cracked or broken parts,
• any other condition that may
affect its safe operation.
2. Wipe external surfaces of the Cart with clean cloth.

Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
