This playset comes with one trafc light, six track pieces, and a bridge that can be recongured and connected with other Go! Go! Smart
Wheels
TM
playsets. The trafc light teaches colors, trafc rules, and
opposites so your child can have a fun and educational experience through pretend-play. For added interactivity, the Trafc Signal
Bridge also recognizes Go! Go! Smart Wheels
TM
vehicles (sold
separately).

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the
Go! Go! Smart Wheels
TM
Trafc Signal
Bridge. Use a coin or a screwdriver to loosen
the screw.
3. Install 2 new ‘AA’ (LR6/AM-3) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
BATTERY NOTICE
Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon­zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
Do not use damaged batteries.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Do not dispose of batteries in re.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF BUTTON
To turn the unit ON, press the ON/OFF
BUTTON. To turn the unit OFF, press
and hold the ON/OFF BUTTON for 0.5 seconds.
2. TURNING LIGHTS
The traffic light can be turned 180
degrees. You will hear a click sound when it is turned to the correct position in front
of the gate.
3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech® Go! Go! Smart WheelsTM Trafc
Signal Bridge will automatically power-down after approximately 45
seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button except when pressing the recognition sensors.
ACTIVITIES
1. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON. You will hear a fun sing-along song. The lights
will ash with the sounds.
2. Press the red or green trafc light buttons to learn colors and trafc rules. The lights will ash with the sounds.

3. Press the traffic cone button to hear music and sing-along songs. The lights will ash with the sounds.
4. Flip the gate to hear driving phrases and sounds. The lights will ash with the sounds.
5. Push a vehicle over the recognition
sensor to hear a greeting specific to
the vehicle. The lights will ash with the sounds. (The vehicle must be facing the same direction as the arrow.)
6. Press the button near the recognition sensor to hear fun sounds and short
tunes. The lights will flash with the
sounds.
7. Push a vehicle over a SmartPoint
TM
to
hear the vehicle say a related phrase or play a sound effect. (SmartPointTM vehicles only. Each sold separately).

8. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 4 seconds, you will hear a friendly voice. If there is still no input after another 4 seconds, you will hear another friendly voice. If there is still no input after 4 seconds, you will hear another sing-along song. If there is still no input after a further 4 seconds, then the unit will automatically power down.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to
moisture or water.

Troubleshooting
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with an entire set of new batteries.
