Installation
1. Carefully unpack the shipping box and save for future use.
2. Set the Fantasia LSH in a place that is out of reach of children and pets, and away from
sources of moisture and water.
Caution! Do not put the Fantasia LSH in an enclosed cabinet! This line stage
produces heat, and must have at least three inches of free space between the back
panel and wall, and at least twelve inches of free space above the top of the unit. Do
not set the unit on any material (carpet, foam, etc.) that can block the ventilation holes
on the bottom of the unit.
Warning! Never place anything on top of the Fantasia LSH! To do so increases the
risk of fire, and will greatly reduce the life of the unit.
3. Connect your tuner, CD or other signal sources to the input jacks.
4. Connect your tape recorder, or other recording equipment to the tape output jacks.
5. Connect your power amplifier to the power amp jacks.
6. Insert the AC power cord connector firmly into the AC/Fuse socket on the back of the unit.
7. Insert the other end of the AC power cord into a 120VAC, 60Hz receptacle.
8. Turn the volume control fully counter clockwise.
9. Set Power Amp/Headphone Switch – If you are planning to listen through headphones,
set the switch to Headphone. If you are planning to listen to your speakers, set the switch to
Power Amp.
Warning! Always turn the volume control fully counter clockwise before switching
between power amplifier/headphone mode! Failure to reduce the volume can damage
your hearing!
10. If you are using headphones, insert your headphone into the front panel jack.
11. Select the signal source (tuner, CD, etc.) and turn up the volume to a comfortable sound
level.
12. Adjust the bass and treble controls to suit your fancy. Turning the controls clockwise
increases the bass or treble boost; turning the controls counter clockwise decreases the bass
or treble.
