Das elektronische Thermo-Hygrometer COMFORT CONTROL ist
ein ideales Messinstrument zur Kontrolle des Raumklimas.

Zu feuchte Raumluft schadet der Gesundheit und begünstigt die
Entstehung von Stockflecken und gefährlichem Schimmelpilz.
Aber auch eine zu trockene Raumluft kann unser Wohlbefinden und
unsere Gesundheit in verschiedener Hinsicht beineinträchtigen.
Haut, Schleimhäute und Atmungsorgane werden belastet, und Hau­stiere, Pflanzen, Holzböden und Antikmöbel leiden mit.

Durch aktives Heizen und Lüften können Sie ein behagliches und
gesundes Wohnklima erzielen und sogar Heizkosten sparen.

Das Zusammenspiel von Temperatur und
Luftfeuchtigkeit

Ist die Raumluft zu feucht, erscheint Lüften im Winter, wenn es
draußen kalt, nass und ebenfalls feucht ist, zunächst unsinnig.

Aber kalte Luft kann nur wenig oder gar keine Feuchtigkeit auf­nehmen. Gelangt diese Luft in die Wohnung, wird sie erwärmt. Und

nun kann die Luft ein Vielfaches an Wasserdampf aufnehmen.
Schon nach wenigen Minuten Stoßlüftung können Sie an der Digi­talanzeige beobachten, wie die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit sinkt.

Taupunkt

Dieser Zusammenhang von Temperatur und relativer Luftfeuchte
wird durch den Taupunkt ausgedrückt:

Wird Luft kontinuierlich abgekühlt, steigt bei gleich bleibender
absoluter Luftfeuchtigkeit die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit bis auf
100% an. Kühlt die Luft weiter ab, so wird der überschüssige
Wasserdampf in Tröpfchenform ausgeschieden.

Wenn das Messgerät eine Lufttemperatur von 20° C und eine rel.
Feuchte von 65% anzeigt, so beträgt die Taupunkttemperatur
13,2°C. Was bedeutet dass? Die Luft - z. B. im Schlafzimmer, muss

Elektronische Altgeräte sind Wertstoffe und dürfen

Sie das Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nach den

Hat die Luft nur einen Feuchtegehalt von z. B. 40%, so liegt Ihr Tau­punkt bei 6 °C. Die Wände oder Decken müssen also wesentlich
kälter sein, damit die Luft Ihren Taupunkt erreicht und sich Wasser­tröpfchen bilden.

Die richtigen Temperaturen und
Luftfeuchtigkeit erreichen:

Tipps für aktives Heizen und Lüften:

• Den Taupunkt beobachten! Wandoberflächentemperaturen soll­ten nicht unter 15°C abkühlen!

• Bei Abwesenheit Heizung nie ganz abstellen. Das Halten einer
abgesenkten Durchschnittstemperatur ist sparsamer.

• Innentüren zwischen unterschiedlich beheizten Räumen tags und
nachts geschlossen halten.

• Die Fenster kurzzeitig ganz öffnen (Stoßlüften). Kippstellung ist
wirkungslos, verschwendet Heizenergie, kann sogar Schimmel­bildung fördern.

• Quer durch die Wohnung lüften (Querlüften).

• Bei jedem Wetter, auch bei Regen lüften. Kalte Außenluft ist
trockener als die warme Zimmerluft.

• Je kühler die Zimmertemperatur, desto öfter muss gelüftet wer­den.

• Je kälter es draußen ist, desto kürzer muss gelüftet werden.

• Bei dichten Isolierglasfenstern häufiger lüften.

• Bäder auf dem kürzesten Weg in Richtung nach draußen lüften.

• Bei zu trockener Raumluft, insbesondere im Winter, sind elektri­sche Luftbefeuchter empfehlenswert, da Lüften bei niedrigen
Außentemperaturen die Luftfeuchtigkeit eher noch senkt.

Richtiger Lüftungszeitpunkt

• Morgens einmal kompletten Luftwechsel durchführen, Durchzug
machen, in jedem Zimmer das Fenster weit öffnen.

• Vormittags und nachmittags nochmals die Zimmer lüften, in
denen sich Personen aufgehalten haben.

• Abends wieder einen kompletten Luftwechsel inklusive Schlaf­zimmer vornehmen.

• Bei Abwesenheit (Berufstätigkeit) am Tage reicht es, morgens
und abends zu lüften.

Richtige Lüftungsdauer

• Wenige Minuten sind meist ausreichend. Beobachten Sie die
Anzeigewerte Ihres COMFORT CONTROL!

Bedienung:

Inbetriebnahme:

Entfernen Sie den Batterieunterbrecherstreifen. Ziehen Sie die
Schutzfolie vom Display ab. Das Gerät ist jetzt betriebsbereit.

Anzeige:

Die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit in % für den Innenbereich erscheint
links, die Raumtemperatur in °C in der Mitte und der Taupunkt in °C

En la parte posterior del aparato se encuentra una apertura redonda
para colgarlo en la pared. Para ponerlo de pie colocarlo sobre el pie
suministrado con el aparato.

Puesto que los valores relativos a la humedad en las habitaciones
pueden variar en función del lugar en que se coloque el aparato,
colóquelo lo más cerca posible de las zonas problemáticas para
poder controlarlas.

Cambiar las pilas:

Abra el compartimiento de pila y cambia las pilas (2 x 1,5 V AA).
Las pilas agotadas no deben verterse en la basura doméstica. Sír-

vase entregarla en los centros de recogida o bien en el comercio
especializado.

Eliminación de las pilas gastadas

Como usuario final usted está obligado por ley (reglamento sobre
pilas) a reciclar todas las pilas y baterías usadas; ¡queda prohibida
la eliminación a través de la basura doméstica!

Las pilas y baterías que contengan sustancias tóxicas

aparecen señalizadas junto a símbolos que advierten
de la prohibición de su eliminación a través de la basu­ra doméstica.

Las indicaciones que distinguen los metales pesados más

comunes son: Cd = cadmio, Hg = mercurio, Pb = plomo.
Usted puede entregar de forma gratuita las pilas y

baterías usadas en los puntos de recogida municipales
de su localidad, en nuestras sucursales o en cualquier
sitio en que se vendan pilas o baterías.

• Abrir brevemente las ventanas de par en par (ventilación
momentánea). La posición inclinada no surte efecto, desperdicia
energía de calor y puede incluso favorecer la formación de moho.

• En caso de aire ambiente demasiado seco, sobre todo en invier­no, se recomienda el uso de humedecedores del aire, ya que ven­tilar cuando la temperatura del exterior es baja disminuye incluso
la humedad del aire.

Duración adecuada de la ventilación

• La mayoría de las veces basta con pocos minutos. Observe el
valor que indica su COMFORT CONTROL!

Modo de uso:

Manejo:

Quite la tira de interrupción de la pila. Saque la película de protec­ción del display. El aparato está ahora listo para el servicio.

Visualización:

El display a la izquierda indica la humedad del ambiente, el display
central indica la temperatura interior, el display a la derecha indica
el punto de rocio. Mediante la tecla °C/°F puede elegir entre °C y °F
como unidad de medida para la temperatura.

Si la humedad del aire supera el 65 % y con ello existe riesgo de
enmohecimiento, se ilumina una cara triste en la pantalla y suena
una señal de alarma. La señal acústica puede apagarse con el
botón deslizante situado en la parte posterior.

Temperaturas máximas y mínimas:

• Si pulsa usted la tecla MAX/MIN se indica el valor de temperatura
y humedad interior máxima desde la última reposición.

• Pulsando de nuevo la tecla MAX/MIN se indica el valor de tempe­ratura y humedad interior mínima desde la última reposición. Para
indicar de nuevo los valores actuales, pulse otra vez la tecla
MAX/MIN.

Rückseite ausschalten.

Höchst- und Tiefsttemperaturen:

• Drücken Sie die MIN MAX-Taste. Die höchste Luftfeuchtigkeit
und Temperatur seit der letzten Rückstellung wird angezeigt.

• Durch nochmaliges Drücken der MIN MAX-Taste werden die
niedrigsten Werte seit der letzten Rückstellung angezeigt.

• Um wieder die Anzeige mit den aktuellen Werten zu erhalten,
betätigen Sie nochmals die MIN/MAX-Taste.

• Drücken Sie die RESET-Taste, werden die Anzeigewerte auf den
aktuellen Stand zurückgestellt.

Aufstellen oder Aufhängen:

Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes befindet sich eine runde Öffnung
zum Anbringen an der Wand. Zum Aufstellen stellen Sie das Gerät
auf den beiliegenden Fuß.
Da die Luftfeuchtigkeit in Räumen je nach Standort stark variieren
kann, platzieren Sie das Gerät zur Überwachung möglichst nahe an
den Problemstellen.

Batteriewechsel:
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und legen Sie 2 x 1,5 V AA Batterien ein.
Schließen Sie das Fach wieder.
Batterieentsorgungshinweis einfügen

Entsorgung von gebrauchten Batterien

Sie als Endverbraucher sind gesetzlich (Batterieverordnung) zur
Rückgabe aller gebrauchten Batterien und Akkus verpflichtet; eine

Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist untersagt!

Cuando el aparato de medida indique una temperatura del aire
ambiente de 20° C y una humedad relativa de 65%, la temperatura
del punto de rocio alcanza 13,2°C. ¿Qué significa esto? En el dor­mitorio, por ejemplo, en todos los rincones que estén más fríos que
13,2ºC, el aire se condensa, lo que significa que se forman gotas de
agua en la pared o en el techo y más tarde puede aparecer moho o
manchas de humedad.
Si el contenido de humedad del aire alcanza sólo un 40% por ejem­plo, el punto de rocio se sitúa en 6 °C. Las paredes o techos deben
estar bastante más fríos para que el aire alcance su punto de rocio
y se formen gotas de agua.

Alcanzar las temperaturas y humedad del
aire adecuadas:

Consejos para una calefacción y ventilación activas:

• Observar el punto de rocio. La superficie de las paredes no debe
enfriarse nunca por debajo de los 15°C

• En caso de marcharse no apagar nunca del todo la calefacción.

• Ventilar siempre independientemente del tiempo que haga, inclu­so cuando llueva.

Excessive room-air humidity can damage your health and promotes
the formation of damp patches and mould.
But excessively dry room air can also affect our well-being and

The interaction of temperature and
air humidity

If the room air is too humid, ventilation would at first appear non­sensical in the winter, when the outside air is also cold, damp and
just as humid.

Cold air however, can absorb little or no moisture. When this air
enters the living areas it becomes warmer. And then the air can
absorb much more water vapour. After just a few minutes of giving
a room an airing, you can see on the digital display how the relative
humidity goes down.

Dew-point

This interdependency of temperature and relative humidity is
expressed by means of the dew-point:

If the air is cooled continuously at constant absolute humidity,
then the relative humidity will steadily increase up to a maxi­mum of 100%. If the air is cooled further, then the excess water
vapour is separated out in the form of water droplets.

If the measuring unit indicates an air temperature of 20° C and a
relative humidity of 65%, then the dew-point temperature will be

13.2° C. What does that mean? That the air, for instance in your

bedroom, will condense and form water droplets at all points on
walls and ceilings that are cooler than 13.2° C, and that this may
later lead to patches of mould or damp.
If the air is at a relative humidity of say 40%, then the dew-point
temperature is only 6 °C. The walls and ceilings would therefore
have to be significantly colder for the air to reach its dew-point and
for water droplets to form.

How to achieve the correct temperature
and air humidity:

Tips for active heating and ventilation:

• Check the dew-point! Surfaces of walls should not fall below a
temperature of 15° C!

• Do not turn the heating completely off when going out.

• Ventilate in all weather conditions, even if it's raining.

• Open the windows for a short time (room airing). A partially open
window, for instance in the tilted position, does not have the desi­red effect, wastes heating energy and can even promote the for­mation of mould.

Het toestel heeft achteraan een ronde opening waarmee u het aan
de muur kunt hangen. Met het meegeleverde voetstuk kunt u het
toestel staande plaatsen.
Aangezien de vochtigheidsgraden in ruimtes van de standplaats

Batterij vervangen:

Afvoeren van lege batterijen

U bent als eindverbruiker volgens de KCA-voorschriften wettelijk
verplicht alle lege batterijen en accu's in te leveren; verwijdering via
het huisvuil is niet toegestaan!

Op batterijen/accu´s die schadelijke stoffen bevatten,

vindt u de hiernaast vermelde symbolen. Deze mogen
niet via het huisvuil worden verwijderd.

De aanduidingen voor de uitslaggevende zware meta-

len zijn: Cd = cadmium, Hg = kwik, Pb = lood.
Lege batterijen en niet meer oplaadbare accu's kunt u
gratis inleveren bij de verzamelplaatsen van uw
gemeente, onze filialen of andere verkooppunten van
batterijen en accu's!

Afvoeren

Oude elektronische apparaten bevatten waardevolle

materialen en behoren niet in het huisvuil. Breng het
onbruikbaar geworden apparaat volgens de geldende
wettelijke voorschriften naar de gemeentelijke plaats
voor afvalinzameling.

Ingebruikneming:

Verwijder de batterijonderbrekingsstrook. Trek de beschermfolie
van het display af. Het apparaat is nu bedrijfsgereed.

Display:

Het display links laat u de relatieve luchtvochtigheid, het middelste
display de binnentemperatuur, het display rechts de dauwpunt. Met
de °C/°F-schakelaar kunt u tussen °C en °F als meeteenheid voor
de temperatuur kiezen.
Stijgt de luchtvochtigheid boven 65 % en daarmee het gevaar voor
schimmelvorming, verschijnt een droevig gezicht en hoort u een
alarmsignaal. U kunt het akoestisch signaal met de schuifschake­laar achteraan het toestel uitschakelen.

Min/max waarde:

• Door op de MAX/MIN-toets te drukken verschijnt de hoogste
temperatuur en relatieve luchtvochtigheid sinds de laatste reset.

• Door nogmaals op de MAX/MIN-toets te drukken worden de
laagste waarden sinds de laatste reset weergegeven. Door nog­maals op de MAX/MIN-toets te drukken keert u terug naar de
normale modus.

• Voor het terugzetten van het MAX/MIN-geheugen op de actuele
waarden drukt u op de RESET-toets.

air humidifiers are recommended, since airing at low outside tem­peratures will tend to decrease the humidity further.

Duration of airing

• A few minutes are mostly sufficient. Check the value indicated on
your COMFORT CONTROL!

Operation:

Startup:

Remove the battery safety strip. Pull off the protection foil on the
display. The unit is now ready to use.

Display:

The left row shows the indoor relative humidity, the middle row the
room temperature and the right row the dew point. The temperature
unit can be changed from °C to °F by the °C/°F-button at the back­side.
If the air humidity exceeds 65 % there is a risk of mould formation; a
frowning face will appear on the display and an alarm signal is soun­ded. The acoustic signal can be muted by operating the sliding
switch on the rear-side.

MAX/MIN temperatures:

• Press the MAX/MIN button and the highest temperature and
humidity is displayed since the last reset.

• Press the MAX/MIN button again, the display shows the lowest
temperature and humidity since the last reset.

• To go back to the present values, press the MAX/MIN button
once more.

• Press the RESET button to reset the MAX/MIN values to the pre­sent temperature.

Placing or hanging up the unit:

A circular opening is provided on the rear-side of the unit for han­ging on the wall. To place the unit in the standing position use the
foot supplied with the unit.

Since the humidity level within rooms can vary greatly according to
the location, mount the unit so that it will monitor the conditions in a
location likely to be subject to the most problems.

Battery replacement:

Open the battery compartment and insert 2 batteries 1.5 V AA. Clo­se the battery compartment.

Attention: Do not dispose of empty batteries in household waste.
Take them to special local collection sites.

Disposal of flat batteries

You as the consumer are legally obligated (battery ordinance) to
return all spent batteries and accumulators; disposal in the house-
hold waste is prohibited.

Batteries/accumulators containing hazardous sub-

stances are marked by the opposite symbols. These
symbols also indicate that it is prohibited to dispose of
these batteries in the household waste.

The codes for the heavy metals concerned are: Cd =

cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead.
You can return flat batteries / accumulators free of

charge to the collection points in your community, our
branches or anywhere else where batteries or accumu­lators are sold.

Disposal

opnemen. Dringt deze lucht in de woning wordt zij verwarmd. En nu
kan de lucht een veelvoud aan waterdamp opnemen. Reeds na
enkele minuten krachtige verluchting kunt u op de digitale weergave
zien hoe de relatieve luchtvochtigheid daalt.

Si l'air de la pièce est trop humide, il nous apparaît que l'aération en
hiver est un non sens lorsque dehors il fait froid, humide et que tout
est mouillé.

Mais l'air froid n'absorbe pas ou peu d'humidité. Si cet air
pénètre dans l'appartement, il va se réchauffer. Après cela l'air

est capable d'absorber une proportion beaucoup plus importante
de vapeur d'eau. Déjà après quelques minutes d'aération de choc,
vous pouvez observer sur l'écran digital la baisse du taux d'humi­dité relative.

Point de rosée

Cette action simultanée de la température et de l'humidité relative
est exprimée par le point de rosée :

Si l'air est refroidi en continu, l'humidité relative augmente jus­qu'à 100% quand le taux d'humidité absolu reste constant. Si
l'air continue de refroidir la vapeur d'eau en surplus est éli­minée sous forme de gouttes de condensation.

Quand l'appareil de mesure indique une température de l'air de 20
°C et un taux d'humidité relative de 65%, la température du point de
rosée est de 13,2 °C. Qu'est-ce que cela signifie ? L'air – par exem­ple dans la chambre à coucher, est obligé de se condenser à tous
les endroits dont la température est inférieure à 13,2 °C, c-à-d. que
des gouttes d'eau se forment sur les murs et au plafond et qu'elles
peuvent ensuite créer de la moisissure ou des taches d'humidité.
Si l'air possède uniquement un taux d'humidité de par exemple
40%, son point de rosée est situé à 6 °C. Les murs ou les plafonds
devraient donc être beaucoup plus froid pour que l'air atteigne son
point de rosée et que des gouttes de condensation se forment.

Utilizzo:

Messa in opera:

Togliere la striscia d’interruzione dalla batteria. Levare il foglio pro­tettivo dal display. Ora l’ apparecchio è pronto per il funzionamento.

Display:

Il display sulla sinistra indica l’umidità interna, il display centrale
indica la temperatura interna, il display sulla destra indica il punto
rugiada. Tramite il commutatore situato nel lato posteriore dell'ap­parecchio, l'indicazione della temperatura può essere regolata su
°C oppure °F.

Se l’umidità dell’aria è superiore al 65 % e quindi vi è il rischio di for­mazione di muffa, si accende una faccina triste e si avverte un seg­nale acustico. È possibile disinserire il segnale acustico con l’inter­ruttore a scorrimento presente sul retro.

Temperature massime e minime:

• Premendo sul tasto MAX/MIN viene visualizzata l’umidità e la
temperatura massima raggiunta dopo l´ultimo azzeramento.

• Premendo di nuovo il tasto MAX/MIN viene visualizzata l’umidità
e la temperatura minima raggiunta dopo l´ultimo azzeramento.

• En cas d'absence ne jamais arrêter complètement le chauffage.

• Aérer par tous les temps, même quand il pleut.

• Ouvrir les fenêtres en grand pendant un court délai (aération de
choc). La position entrebâillée est sans effet, c'est une perte
d'énergie et cela peut même aider à la formation de moisissure.

• En cas d'air ambiant trop sec, en particulier en hiver, nous con­seillons l'utilisation par exemple d'humidificateurs électriques, car
si on aère avec une température extérieure plutôt faible à tendan­ce à renforcer la baisse du taux d'humidité de l'air.

Durée d'aération correcte

• Quelques minutes sont en général suffisantes. Observez les
valeurs sur l'écran de votre COMFORT CONTROL!

Utilisation :

Opération :

Enlever la bande d´interruption de la pile. Tirer la feuille de protec­tion de l´affichage. L´instrument est maintenant prêt à fonctionner.

Affichage :

L´affichage à gauche vous indique l’humidité relative intérieure,
l´affichage du milieu la température intérieure et l´affichage à droite
vous indique le point de rosée.

En pressant la touche °C/°F sur la face arrière de l'appareil l´afficha­ge de la température peut être ajusté en °C ou en °F.

Quand le taux d'humidité de l'air dépasse 65 % et donc qu'il y a ris­que de formation de moisissure, un visage affligé s'allume sur
l'écran et un signal d'alarme retentit. On peut arrêter le signal acou­stique à l'aide de la manette de curseur sur la face arrière de l'ap­pareil.

Températures maximales et minimales:

• En pressant la touche MAX/MIN apparaît la température et l’hu­midité maximale depuis la dernière réactualisation.

• En pressant encore une fois la touche MAX/MIN apparaît la
température et l’humidité minimale depuis la dernière réactualisa­tion.

• En pressant la touche MAX/MIN une troisième fois apparaît les
valeurs momentanées.

• En pressant la touche RESET pour remettre la mémoire MAX/MIN
aux valeurs actuelles.

Mise en place ou accrochage :

A l'arrière de l'appareil se trouve une ouverture arrondie pour
l'accrochage mural. Pour la mise en place sur une surface déposez
l'appareil sur le socle joint.

Comme les valeurs de taux d'humidité peuvent être très variables
d'un point à un autre de la pièce, placez plutôt l'appareil de surveil­lance le plus possible dans les endroits à problèmes.

Échanger la batterie :

Ouvrir le compartiment de la pile et insérer les batteries (2 x 1.5 V
AA). Fermer le compartiment.

Attention: Ne jetez pas les piles usagées à la poubelle. Déposez-les
dans les lieux de collecte prévus à cet effet.

Élimination des piles usagées

En qualité d'utilisateur final, vous êtes tenu par la loi (réglementati­on relative aux piles) de retourner toutes les piles et accus usagés ;
l'élimination avec les déchets domestiques est interdite!

Les piles/accus contenant des substances nocives

sont signalés par les symboles ci-contre, qui illustrent
l'interdiction de les éliminer avec les déchets ména­gers.

Quando lo strumento di misura visualizza una temperatura dell’aria
di 20° C e una umidità relativa del 65%, la temperatura del punto di
rugiada è di 13,2°C. Cosa significa tutto ciò? L’aria, ad esempio in
camera da letto, deve condensarsi in tutti i punti più freddi di
13,2°C, ciò significa che sulla parete o sul soffitto si formano delle
gocce d’acqua e successivamente si può formare muffa o macchie
di muffa.
Se l’aria ha solo un contenuto di umidità ad es. del 40%, il punto di
rugiada si trova a 6 °C. Le pareti o i soffitti devono essere molto più
freddi in modo che l’aria raggiunga il proprio punto di rugiada e si
formino gocce d’acqua.

Suggerimenti per il riscaldamento attivo e l’aerazione:

• Osservare il punto di rugiada! La temperatura delle superfici delle
pareti non deve scendere al disotto dei 15°C!

• In caso di assenza dai locali, non spegnere mai completamente il
riscaldamento.

• Aerare la stanza con qualsiasi tempo, anche in caso di pioggia.

La combinazione di temperatura e
umidità giuste

Se l’aria della stanza è troppo umida, sembra insensato aerare la
stanza in inverno quando fuori è freddo, bagnato ed anche umido.

Infatti l’aria fredda può assorbire solo un’esigua o una nulla
quantità di umidità. Ma se tale aria fredda entra nell’appartamento,

si riscalda. E quindi può assorbire una notevole quantità di vapore
acqueo. Già dopo pochi minuti di aerazione d’urto è possibile
osservare sul display digitale l’abbassamento dell’umidità relativa.
