Whether you’re exploring new pavement or taking a detour onto
a dirt road, the Golf Alltrack is the key to unlocking destinations
that were once out of reach. Equipped with 4MOTION® all-wheel
drive, an Off-Road Mode,* and increased ground clearance to
accommodate varied terrain with more confidence, the Golf Alltrack
was designed to take the road less graveled. No matter how you
adventure, it’s safe to say you’ll be doing so with a turbocharged
smile on your face.

Taking a detour off the highway to traverse previously

path doesn’t always mean a smooth drive. Fear not,
the Golf Alltrack was engineered with 4MOTION
all-wheel drive, Off-Road Mode,* and Hill Descent
Control, which actively helps control the application
of your brakes. Smoother sailing, even on rough
terrain and in inclement weather.

The 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system transfers torque between the front
and rear wheels. In normal driving conditions, power is delivered to the front
wheels. But 4MOTION can also send torque to the rear axle when you need it.
Talk about a power move.

When searching for a car designed for the outdoors,
it’s easy to compromise on aesthetics. Thankfully, the
Golf Alltrack is an all-around eye pleaser that checks

Hill Descent Control

This feature helps you go down steep grades that can be partially
slippery. With Hill Descent Control, active when in Off-Road Mode,*
the Golf Alltrack will brake for you while going downhill, keeping
your ride at a constant, controlled speed.

Off-Road Mode*

With a specialized engine and ABS configuration, Off-Road Mode is
designed to help you traverse a variety of different terrains; it allows
you to comfortably drive down steep grades and optimizes driving
and traction control. It’s “adventure mode for the off-road.“

A tough yet refined exterior, the Golf Alltrack is engineered with sleek
reinforcements to help combat rough road conditions and inclement

Lane Departure Warning (Lane Assist)

When moving, the available Lane Departure Warning (Lane Assist)
can sense if you start to drift into another lane without using the
turn signal. It will help steer to help keep you in the correct lane.

Forward Collision Warning and Autonomous Emergency
Braking (Front Assist

The Forward Collision Warning system (included in Front Assist) has
a sensor in the front to help monitor traffic and can alert you to a
potential collision. If a collision is imminent, Autonomous Emergency
Braking (included in Front Assist) can help brake the car.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC

The available Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) helps maintain a relative
distance from the car in front of you. If the car in front of you speeds
up or slows down, the sensors can detect the change and your car
follows suit.

Park Distance Control (Park Pilot

The available Park Distance Control (Park Pilot) has sensors that help
you back out of or drive into a parking spot. Audible signals and the
Optical Parking System on the display indicate how much space you
have in the front and back while parking. If you get too close, an alert
sounds as a warning. The display provides additional support for the
driver by showing the position of obstacles.

Parking Steering Assistnt (Park Assist

The available Parking Steering Assistant (Park Assist) can help judge if
a parking spot is big enough for your Volkswagen. Whether parallel or
perpendicular, this feature will help steer your vehicle into the space.
You operate the accelerator, brake, and shifter; it does the rest.

The Golf Alltrack is a fun-to-drive, ready-for-adventure, über-versatile
wagon. But it’s also part of the award-winning 2016 Golf family, which is
why the engineers crafted a solid foundation. With seven stability-enhancing
features and an Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS).* It’s proof that
a lot goes in before you do.

NHTSA 5-Star Safety Rating

The 2017 Golf Alltrack has earned a 5-star overall safety rating from
the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHSTA).** That’s
a high-five for high performance.

Intelligent Crash Response System (ICRS

In the event of a collision that deploys the airbags,† the ICRS can turn
off the fuel pump, unlock the doors, and activate the hazard lights.
It helps react if you might not be able to.

Seven stability-enhancing systems

From Electronic Brake-pressure Distribution (EBD), which helps
maintain appropriate stopping power during a hard-braking situation,
to Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which can adjust engine throttle
and apply corrective forces to the wheels that need them most, there
