SAFETY HINTS
• The appliance may only be operated on an electricity supply which corresponds to the voltage and type of current specified on the housing (rating plate).
This hair dryer is not to be used close the bath-tubs, CAUTION:
wash-basin, or other containers holding water. Danger can arise even when the hair dryer is switched off, which is why the plug must be pulled out of the socket after it has been used and before it is cleaned. Never pull the plug out of the socket by tugging on the lead!
• The installation in the electrical circuit of the house of a short-circuit protection device with a nominal trigger current of not more than 30 mA will provide additional protection. Please consult your local electrician.
• If, however, the appliance should fall into water, pull the power plug out of the power socket immediately!
- Never place your hand in the water!
- Have your appliance checked by a qualified electrician before using it again.
• Do not direct aerosols or water sprays into your appliance!
• Ensure that your appliance does not get wet (water splashing, etc.) and do not use it with wet hands. If you put your appliance down whilst drying your hair, always switch it off as a precaution.
• The air outlet grille will inevitably become hot during use.
• Do not allow the flex to come into contact with the air outlet during use.
• When drying your hair in rollers, do not allow any clips, hairpins, etc. to project more than 10 mm (finger width) so as to ensure that they can not come into contact with the live parts inside the appliance.
• Children do not realize the dangers arising from improper use of electrical appliances.
• Children should not therefore be allowed to use a HAIRDRYER without supervision.
• Please read these operating instructions carefully and explain all necessary precautions to your children.
• The air inlet and outlet openings should never be obstructed.
• If, however, the airflow is inadvertetly obstructed during use, the built-in thermal safety cutout will automatically switch off the appliance.
• The HAIRDRYER will switch on again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes.
• Always unplug your appliance after use and before cleaning it!
• The safety grill fitted in the air inlet opening prevents hair from being drawn in.
• If the grill becomes clogged, it should be cleaned (e.g. with vacuum cleaner or brush), as otherwise the airflow will be obstructed to such an extent that the thermal cutout will operate.
• Keep your hair away from the immediate vicinity of the air inlet opening.
• Repairs to electrical appliance should only be performed be a qualified electrician. Improper repairs may place the user at serious risk.

This appliance is featured with "Cool Shot" function which allows rapid cooling of hair and longer lasting curl. To activate the cool shot function, simply depress the button in front of the handle. As the button is released, the appliance returns to its normal setting.
DETACHABLE AIR CONCENTRATOR
The concentrator can be arbitrarily attached. It is all-round rotatable and enables you to target a concentrated jet of air when styling you hair.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Always disconnect the hair dryer before cleaning.
• Never immerse the hair dryer in water.
• It is sufficient to wipe the exterior over with a damp cloth and then wipe dry.
• A soft dry brush may be used to remove dust and hairs from the air inlet grille, to ensure proper airflow at all times.
