• Tip: Ensure there is sufficient water to avoid having to interrupt cooking.
• Place the food in the bowls. Each steaming position can accommodate two bowls with the larger one on top.
• Fit the lid; ensure it is fitted correctly otherwise steam will be lost and the food will not be cooked.
• Select the cooking time for each container individually by pressing the appropriate TIME button. The cooking time is displayed in minutes. During the final minute, the display will show the number of seconds to the completion of cooking.
• Tip: Cooking can be stopped at any time by pressing the On/Off button.
• A series of beeps will indicate when the cooking time is complete.
• Ensure the food is thoroughly cooked and piping hot before serving if necessary, the food can be cooked for a further period.
• If the water level falls too low during cooking, the heat will be removed and the indicator lamps will flash.
• Steam is hot, use oven gloves to lift the lid.
• Remove the steam basket using a cloth or oven gloves.
After Cooking
• Unplug the appliance.
• Let it cool completely before cleaning.
Table of Cooking Times
• The longest time corresponds to the food being cooked in the top bowl. We advise that you place larger food or food requiring a longer cooking time in the lower bowl.
• Cooking times are approximate and use the lower bowl, unless stated otherwise. Times may vary depending on the amount of food, size of the food, the space between the food, and on individual tastes. For larger or smaller quantities, adjust the cooking time accordingly. Cooking times may be increased when using more than one bowl to steam food.
• Check food near the end of cooking, especially vegetables and fruit, as an extra few minutes can result in over cooked food.
