IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. Carefully read these instructions before using your appliance for the first
time and keep it for future enquires.

2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

3. Keep the plastic bags and other packaging elements out of the reach of
children. They may be potentially dangerous.

4. Do not plug in before making sure the voltage on the rating plate and that
your household are the same.

5. Do not leave unattended when in use.

6. Use it always with the tray placed.

7. VERY IMPORTANT: Never immerse in water or other liquids, the

heating element, the handle or the cable cord.

8. Always place the appliance on heat-resistant surfaces

9. Keep away from curtains, liquids and other flammable materials.

10. Make sure the cable never comes in contact with hot parts.

11. Don't allow children play with the appliance. Keep the appliance out of the
reach of children.

12. The temperature of the metallic surfaces could be high when the appliance
is working.

13. Never move the barbecue when in use.

14. The appliance must not be used in the open air.

15. Do not use charcoal or similar combustible in this appliance.

16. To unplug, pull from the plug, never from the cable.

17. This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or a separate
system of remote control.

18. This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.

19. If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by your local authorized
service centre.

NOTES ON THE CORD
The provided short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord)
should be used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Do not use an extension cord with this product.

ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may
not operate properly. It should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from
other appliances.

INTRODUCTION OF USE
Insert the heating element (2) between the grill and the two rods placed under
the heating element by sliding it till the end.
ATTENTION: Doing this operation, the security rod (4) must be fitted in the slot
placed in the bottom side of the handle (5). If not the heating element doesn't
work.
Pour maximum 250ml of water into the tray (3) before you connect the
appliance, and verify it does not run out while in use. Doing that you will avoid
the smoke produced when falling the grease over the tray.
Plug in the appliance to the mains. The indicator (6) will light on. Wait a few
seconds for the electrical element to heat. Then put the food on the grill (1).
