BLENDER VT-3423 BK
The blender is included into the blender set and intended for whisking, mixing, chopping and combined processing of liquid and solid products.

ATTENTION! For additional protection it is reasonable to install a residual current device (RCD) with nominal operation current not exceeding 30 mA. To install an RCD contact a spe­cialist.
SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future ref­erence. Use the unit for intended purposes only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling of the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/ her property.
Before connecting the unit to the mains,
make sure that the voltage specified on the unit corresponds to your home mains volt­age.
Never leave the unit connected to the mains
unattended.
Always unplug the unit before changing the
attachments and after using it.
Before using the unit, make sure that the
attachments are set and fixed properly.
Do not connect the motor unit to the mains
if the attachments are not installed.
It is not allowed to switch the unit on without
attachments and foodstuffs for processing.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
Cool down hot products before putting
them into the measuring cup or the chop­per bowl.
Do not place the chopper bowl and the
measuring cup into a microwave oven.
Use only the attachments supplied.
Before using the unit for the first time, thor-
oughly wash all the removable attachments and containers that will contact food.
Place the chopper bowl on a flat stable sur-
face.
Products should be put into the chopper
bowl before the unit is switched on.
Do not overfill the chopper bowl with food
and watch the level of poured liquids.
The cutting edges of the chopping knife and
of the blender attachment are very sharp and dangerous. Handle these attachments very carefully!
If rotation of the chopping knife is hindered
during the operation of the chopper, unplug the unit and carefully remove products that prevent blade rotation.
Remove products and pour out liquids from
the chopper bowl only after complete stop of the chopping knife.
Do not touch the rotating parts of the unit.
Do not let hair or free hanging clothes get into the rotation area of the blender attach­ment knife or whisk.
Unplug the unit every time before cleaning
or when you are not using it.
Unplug the unit by taking the power plug
directly.
Do not pull the power cord and do not twist
it.
Do not put the attachments and the bowls in
a dishwashing machine.
Do not use the unit near hot surfaces (such
as gas or electric stove, oven).
Provide that the power cord does not touch
sharp edges of furniture and hot surfaces.
Do not touch the motor unit body, the power
cord and the plug with wet hands.
For children safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags used as a packaging unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger
of suffocation!

Do not allow children to touch the body of
the motor unit, the power cord or the power plug during operation of the unit.
Do not leave children unattended to prevent
using the unit as a toy.
During the unit’s operation and breaks
between operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of children.
The unit is not intended for usage by physi-
cally or mentally disabled persons (including children) or by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under supervi­sion of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
Close supervision is necessary when chil-
dren or disabled persons are near the oper­ating unit.
This unit is not intended for usage by children.
Do not use the unit if the power cord or plug
is damaged, if the unit works improperly or after it was dropped.
Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not
disassemble the unit, if any malfunction is detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized service center from the contact address list given in the warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
To avoid damages, transport the unit in the
original package only.
To avoid risk of electric shock or fire, do not
immerse the unit body, the power cord and the power plug into water or any other liquids.
If the unit is dropped into water:
do not touch the water;unplug the unit immediately, only after
that you may take the unit out of water;
apply to the authorized service center for
testing or repairing the unit.
Keep the unit out of reach of children.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
BEFORE USING THE UNIT
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature keep it for at least three hours at room temperature before switching on.
Before using the unit wash the attach-
ments (1, 8 or 11), the chopper bowl (7) and the measuring cup (10) with warm water and a neutral detergent and dry them thoroughly.
Wipe the motor unit (3), the geared lid (9)
and the whisk attachment gear (12) with a soft slightly damp cloth and then wipe them dry.
ATTENTION!
Do not immerse the motor unit (3),
the chopper geared lid (9), the whisk attachment gear (12), the power cord and the power plug into water or any other liquids.
Do not put the attachments and the
bowls in a dishwashing machine.
Continuous operation time
The blender set allows quick and effective operation, but continuous operation time should not exceed 1 minute while using the blender attachment (1), 2 minutes while using the whisk attachment (11) and 15 seconds while chopping hard foodstuffs in the chop­per bowl (7). Make at least a two-minute break between operation cycles.
USING THE BLENDER ATTACHMENT
Use the detachable blender attachment (1) for making fruit puree, baby food, sauces, mayonnaise, for mixing various ingredi­ents and making cocktails (for processing fruit and vegetables containing enough liq­uid).
WARNING: Before installing the attach­ment (1), make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the mains socket.
Insert the detachable blender attachment
(1) into the motor unit (3), make sure the attachment is fixed properly.
Insert the power plug into the mains
socket, the buttons (4, 5) illumination will light up.
Immerse the blender attachment (1) into
the bowl with food that you want to chop/ mix.
Note: You can put the foodstuffs into the mea­suring cup (10).

Selection of attachment rotation speed:
Use the attachment rotation speed control
knob (6) to change the attachment rota­tion speed. Press and hold down the but­ton (5) “I”, select the required attachment rotation speed by turning the speed con­trol knob (6).
For operation at the maximal rotation
speed, press and hold down the “TURBO” button (4).
ATTENTION! While processing products keep the unit vertically.
To switch the unit on, press and hold
down the button (5) «I». Use this operation mode for mixing liquid products. Turn the attachment rotation speed control knob (6) to change the attachment (1) rota­tion speed.
If you press and hold down the «TURBO»
button (4), the unit will operate at maximum rotation speed. Use this operation mode for combined processing of liquid and solid foodstuffs.
Notes:
Products should be put into the bowl before
the unit is switched on. The amount of prod­ucts to be processed should not exceed 2/3 of the capacity of the bowl in which they are processed.
Before starting to chop/mix, we recom-
mend to peel fruit, remove inedible parts, such as stones, and cut fruit into cubes approximately 2х2 cm in size.
After you finish using the unit, take the
power plug out of the socket and detach the detachable blender attachment (1) by pressing the release buttons (2) simulta­neously.
ATTENTION!
Do not remove the blender attachment
(1) during operation.
To avoid damaging the blades, do not
process too hard products such as cere­als, rice, spices, coffee beans, hard cheeses, frozen products etc.
If the foodstuffs are hard to chop with
the blender attachment (1), add some liquid if possible.
USING THE WHISK
Use the whisk attachment (11) only for beating cream and egg whites, making biscuit dough or for mixing ready desserts.
WARNING: Before installing the whisk (11) and the gear (12) make sure that the power plug is not inserted into the mains socket.
Insert the whisk attachment (11) into the
whisk gear (12).
Insert the whisk gear (12) into the motor
unit (3) and make sure that the whisk (11) and the gear (12) are fixed properly.
Insert the power plug into the mains socket,
the buttons (4, 5) illumination will light up.
Put the whisk attachment (11) into the bowl
with products.
Note: You can put the foodstuffs into the mea­suring cup (10).
To switch the unit on, press and hold down
the button (5) «I». Turn the attachment rota­tion speed control knob (6) to change the whisk (11) rotation speed.
If you press and hold down the «TURBO»
button (4), the unit will operate at maximum rotation speed.
After you finish using the unit, take the
power plug out of the mains socket, dis­connect the whisk gear (12) from the motor unit (3) by pressing the buttons (2) simul­taneously.
Remove the whisk (11) from the gear (12).
ATTENTION!
Do not use the whisk attachment (11) to
knead tight dough.
Put products into the bowl before
switching the unit on.
USING THE CHOPPER
The chopper is used to chop meat, cheese, onion, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes, vegetables and fruit.
ATTENTION! Do not chop very hard products, such as ice cubes, frozen products, nutmegs, cof­fee beans, cereals etc.

Before you start chopping:
Cut meat, cheese, onions, vegetables or
fruit into pieces approximately 2x2 cm in size.
Remove stems of herbs, shell nuts.Remove bones, sinews and cartilage from
meat.
Chopping
Caution: the blades of the chopping knife (8) are very sharp!
Always hold the chopping knife (8) by the upper plastic end.
Place the chopper bowl (7) on a flat stable
surface.
Set the chopping knife (8) on the axis inside
the chopper bowl (7).
Put the products into the chopper bowl (7).
Note: Do not switch the unit on when the chopper bowl (7) is empty.
Place the geared lid (9) on the chopper
bowl (7) and rotate it clockwise until bump­ing.
Install the motor unit (3) on the geared
lid (9) feeding chute, make sure that the motor unit (3) is fixed properly.
Install the motor unit (3) strictly in the verti-
cal position and evenly.
Connect the unit to the mains by inserting
the power plug into the mains socket, the buttons (4, 5) illumination will light up.
To switch the unit on, press and hold down
the button (5) «I». Turn the attachment rota­tion speed control knob (6) to change the chopping knife (8) rotation speed.
If you press and hold down the «TURBO»
button (4), the chopping knife (8) will rotate at maximum rotation speed.
During the unit operation hold the motor
unit (3) with one hand and the chopper bowl (7) with the other hand.
After using the unit, wait until the chopping
knife (8) fully stops.
Unplug the unit.Disconnect the motor unit (3) from the
geared lid (9) chute by pressing the buttons (2) simultaneously.
Remove the geared lid (9). Carefully remove the chopping knife (8) tak-
ing it by the plastic end.
Take the chopped food out of the chopper
bowl (7).
ATTENTION! Strictly follow the described sequence of operations.

Note: all data in this table are given as recom­mendations.
CLEANING
Attention! The blades of the chopping knife (8) are very sharp and may be dan­gerous. Handle the chopping knife (8) very carefully!
1. Unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Remove the attachments. Use a slightly
damp cloth to clean the motor unit (3) and the gears (9, 12), then wipe them dry.
3. After processing salty and sour products,
it is necessary to rinse the blender attach­ment (1) or the chopping knife (8) with water immediately.
4. While possessing products with strong
dyeing properties (for instance, carrot or beetroot) the attachments and bowls can get colored, wipe the attachments and the bowls with a cloth dampened in vegetable oil; after that wash the attachments and bowls with a neutral detergent.
5. Wash the attachments that contacted prod-
ucts with warm water and a neutral detergent and dry them thoroughly after use. Wash the whisk attachment (11) all over and wash only the lower part of the blender attachment (1).

6. Do not immerse the motor unit (3) and the
gears (9, 12) into any liquids, do not wash them under water jet or in a dishwashing machine.
STORAGE
Clean and dry the unit thoroughly before
taking it away for long storage.
Do not wind the power cord around the
motor unit (3).
Keep the blender set away from children in
a dry cool place.

Устанавливайте чашу чоппера на ровной
устойчивой поверхности.
Продукты помещайте в чашу чоппера до
включения устройства.
Не переполняйте чашу чоппера продук-
тами и следите за уровнем налитых жид­костей.
Режущие кромки ножа-измельчителя
чоппера и насадки-блендера очень острые и могут представлять опасность. Обращайтесь с данными насадками крайне осторожно!
При работе с чоппером в случае затруд-
нения вращения ножа-измельчителя отключите устройство от электрической сети и аккуратно удалите продукты, мешающие вращению ножа.
Извлекать продукты и сливать жидкости
из чаши чоппера можно только после полной остановки вращения ножа­измельчителя.
Не прикасайтесь к вращающимся
частям устройства. Не допускайте попа­дания волос или свободно висящих эле-
