CAUTION
• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• Ensure that the voltage on the rating plate is the same as in your home.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot
surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible mate
rials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at
least 0.9M from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides
and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or
invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use. Never pull or yank on the cord or the
appliance. To disconnect heater, turn control to OFF, grasp plug and remove
it from outlet.
• Do not use the unit in enclosed spaces such as inside cabinets or walls in
order to defrost pipes or prevent pipes from freezing.
• Do not plug heater into loose fitting or worn out electrical outlets.
• Do not wash with water, or touch with wet hands.
• Do not cover with clothing or place alongside inflammable objects such
as cushions, newspapers, curtains or etc.
• The sides are hot during operation, do not touch the heater while it is running.
• Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue
stress on the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and
break.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the
heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical
mechanical adjustment, or repair to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar
indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water container. If the heater does become wet, unplug it from
the wall receptacle before touching it, as a wet heater may create an electri
cal shock hazard even if the heater is turned off.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners,
or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped
over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
