• Подключите прибор к сети.

• Для наполнения чайника водой снимите его с подставки, откройте

крышку и налейте воду, обращая внимание на шкалу уровня воды (5).
Закройте крышку.

• Поместите наполненный чайник на подставку (6) как вам удобно, т. к.

она позволяет вращать прибор на 360°, установите кнопку
переключателя (3) в положение “I”, при этом загорится индикатор (4).

• Когда вода закипит, чайник автоматически отключится.

• Вы можете сами отключить чайник, установив кнопку переключателя

(3) в положение “0”.

• Снимая чайник с подставки, убедитесь, что он отключен.

• После отключения чайника подождите 15 Z 20 с., и вы можете снова

пользоваться прибором.

ЧИСТКА И УХОД

• Перед чисткой отключайте прибор от сети.

• Протрите внешнюю поверхность чайника влажной тканью. Для

удаления загрязнений используйте мягкие чистящие средства. Не
используйте металлические щетки и абразивы.

• Не погружайте во время чистки чайник и подставку в воду или другие

жидкости.

• Модель снабжена фильтром, который не допускает попадания в

чайник посторонних частиц и задерживает накипь внутри чайника.

• Во избежание образования накипи внутри чайника и на фильтре

систематически промывайте фильтр под проточной водой.

УДАЛЕНИЕ НАКИПИ

• Накипь, образующаяся внутри чайника, влияет на вкусовые качества

воды, а также нарушает теплообмен между нагревательным
элементом и водой, что приводит к перегреву нагревательного
элемента и выходу его из строя.

• Рекомендуем удалять накипь 1 раз в месяц.

• Чтобы удалить накипь, наполните чайник до максимального уровня

раствором уксуса с водой в пропорции 1:2. Доведите раствор до

IMPORTANT

The mains lead of this product is not replaceable by the user.
If the mains lead is damaged, an authorised dealer must only replace it.
Please read these instructions carefully before using your kettle for the first time and

retain for future reference.
Before first use, fill with water to the maximum mark, bring to the boil and discard Z this

will ensure that your kettle is perfectly clean.

• Boiling water and steam can cause serious burns. Always place your kettle on a staZ

ble, flat surface and only use the base supplied. Always allow the appliance to cool
completely before cleaning or storage.

• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate (located on the underside of

the kettle) is the same as the supply voltage in your home. If not, do not use the ketZ
tle and return it to your dealer.

• After the kettle has switched off automatically, there may be a short delay before it

can be reZboiled Z this is usually no more than 20 seconds.

• The safety cutout will operate if you accidentally switch your kettle on when it's

empty. Wait 15 minutes for the cutout to reset before refilling with cold water.

• Never immerse the kettle or base in water (or any other liquid) and do not allow water

to penetrate its electrical parts to prevent electrical hazards.

• Ensure that the kettle and its mains cable are kept well out of the reach of children

and pets. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used near children.

• The outside surface will get very hot during use. Always take great care when hanZ

dling your kettle.

• Always ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing from the base unit.

• Beware of steam being emitted from the spout or lid, especially during refilling.

• This kettle is intended for normal household use only.

• It must not be used for anything other than its intended purpose.

• Do not use this appliance outside.

• Do not insert any objects into holes or slots in this appliance.

Извлечение фильтра не требует приложения усилий, т.к. он должен
выходить легко.

щеткой.

• Установите фильтр, придерживая его за верхнюю часть. Убедитесь,

что выступы на фильтре совмещены с соответствующими выемками
в месте установки фильтра на корпусе чайника.

ARNING! Read these safety instructions thoroughly before connecting this product to

the mains supply.

Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as
that indicated on the rating plate. This product is designed to operate on 230 V AC 50Hz.
Connecting it to any other power source may cause damage.

This product may be fitted with a nonZrewire able plug. If it is necessary to change the fuse
in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost or damaged,
the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is obtained.

If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due to damage,
it should be cut off and a replacement fitted, following the wiring instructions shown
below. The old plug must be disposed of safely, as insertion into a 13 amp socket could
cause an electrical hazard.

ARNING! The wires in the power cable of this product are coloured in

accordance with the following code:

Blue = Neutral Brown = Live Green/Yellow = Earth
If the colours of the wires in the power cable of this product do not correspond with the

markings on the terminals of your plug, proceed as follows (refer to the plug wiring diaZ
gram on the next page).

• The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal,which is marked

N or coloured Black.

• The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal, which is

marked L or coloured Red.

• The wire, which is coloured Green & Yellow must be connected to the terminal, which

is marked with an Earth symbol (shown left) or coloured Green.

• Перед подключением в сеть убедитесь, что напряжение, указанное

вилки толще и не всегда подходят к розетке. Помните, что хороший

• Не прикасайтесь к горячим поверхностям чайника, беритесь только

за ручку.

• Перед тем как убрать прибор, дайте ему остыть.

• Во избежание удара электрическим током, не погружайте прибор в

воду или другую жидкость.

• Не оставляйте детей без присмотра около включенного прибора.

• Отключайте прибор от сети, если вы им не пользуетесь, или перед

чисткой.

• Не пользуйтесь чайником, если повреждены шнур или вилка, или есть

другие повреждения.

Preparation for Use

Carefully remove your kettle from the box. You may wish to retain the packaging for future
use.

Box contents:

Position the kettle on a stable flat surface out of the reach of children.
Make sure that the mains power cable is not placed where it can be inadvertently pulled

or pinched.

USING YOUR KETTLE

NOTE: Before first use, fill with water to the maximum mark, bring to the boil and discard
C this will ensure that your kettle is perfectly clean.

Filling

ARNINGS! Always remove the kettle from the base before filling. Do not overfill as boilC

ing water may be ejected from the spout.

To fill the kettle remove from the base, lift the hinged lid and fill to the desired level
between the 0.5 litre and 1.7 litre marks on the water gauge.

Close the lid and place back on the base.

Switching On

To switch the kettle on, press down the upper half of the On/Off switch. The Power
Indicator will light.

Switching Off

When the water has boiled the kettle will switch OFF automatically. You can stop the boilZ
ing process at any time by pressing down the lower half of the On/Off Switch.

ARNING! Never open the lid if steam is coming from the spout.

MAINTENANCE
CLEANING

Disconnect from the mains supply before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to clean the exteriZ
or of the kettle.

Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents as these may damage the finish
of your kettle.

CLEANING THE FILTER

The filter is located inside the kettle behind the spout.
Remove it by pressing down on the clip, pulling it

back and lifting from the kettle.
Rinse in warm water and gently remove any scale

with a soft brush.
Refitting is the reverse of removal. Ensure that the lug

on the lower part of the filter fits in the slot at the botZ
tom of the spout.

DESCALING

Descale your kettle at least twice a year using a propriety descaling solution (follow the
manufacturers instructions carefully).

Alternatively, half fill the kettle with water, add the juice of a lemon then boil and allow
standing for 15 minutes.

Repeat the process and allow standing again. Finally, boil and rinse thoroughly before
use.

Guarantee

This product is guaranteed for twelve months from the date of original purchase.
If any defect arises during this period due to faulty materials or workmanship, a refund,

replacement unit or a repair free of charge (where possible) will be given by the dealer
from which it was purchased.

This guarantee is subject to the following provisions:

• It is valid only within the boundaries of the country of purchase

• The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance with the instrucZ

tions contained in this guide

• The product must be used solely for domestic purposes It does not cover accidental

damage, misuse or cabinet parts It will be rendered invalid if the product is resold or
has been damaged by inexpert repair

• The manufacturer disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages

• This guarantee is in addition to, and does not diminish, your statutory or legal rights.
