USE ONLY DOMESTIC AC OUTLETS

Connecting the unit to an outlet supp ly ing a highe r v o lta ge may create a f ire ha z a rd.

HANDLE TH E POWER CORD WITH CARE

Do not disconnect the plug from the AC outlet by pulling the cord; always pull the plug itself.
Pulling the cord may damage it. If you do not intend to use your unit for any considerable
length of tim e, unplug the unit. Do not place f urni tu re o r o ther he av y o bje cts o n the co rd, a nd
try to avoid dropping heavy objects on it. Do not tie a knot in the power cord. Not only could
the cord be damaged, but a short circuit could also be caused with a consequent fire hazard.

PLACE O F INSTALLATION

Avoid installing this product under the following conditions :

• Moist or humid places

• Places exposed to direct sunlight or close to heating equipment

• Extremely cold locations

• Places subject to excessive vibration or dust

• Poorly ventilated places
Do not expose this product to dripping or splashing. DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS FILLED WITH

LIQUIDS ON OR NEAR THIS P ROD UCT!

MOVING THE UNIT

Before moving the unit, be sure to pull out the power cord from the AC outlet and disco nne ct
the interco nnection cords w i th o ther units .

WARNING SIGNS

If you detect an abnormal smell or smoke, turn this product off immediately and unplug the
power cord. Contact your reseller or Vision.

Save all packing material. It is essential for shipping in th e e v ent the uni t ev er needs repai r.

WATTS

The most consistent standards f or measuring w a tts a re “Program Pow er” and “RMS” because
these measure average sustained levels.

Where loudspeakers have integrated amplifiers, then load (resis ta nce, measured in ohm s ) is
known so the wattage rating is fixed.

INPUT TYPE SELECTOR

LINE LEV EL
SB-800P has an amplifier built in. It can accept stereo line-level signal which comes out of the
headphone jack on a laptop or phone.

To adjust vol um e turn the dia l o n the bo tto m (note this product do e s not have a remo te
control).

SPEAKER L EV EL
If flat-panel display has an amplifier built in, select SP IN to receive the more powerful speaker­level signal. This will bypass the amplifier in the SP-800P. Generally this will use unshielded
speaker cable which is often black and red.

To adjust volume use display remote control. There is no ne ed to run po w e r to soundbar.

NOTE: Do not connect SP EA KER-LEVEL signal to the LINE-LEVEL in pu ts .

WARRANTY

This product comes with a 2-year return to ba s e w a rra nty, effective from the date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. For the avoidance of
doubt, this will be taken from the information held by the appointed national distributor at the
point of sale. If the product is DOA (dead on arrival), you have 21 days from purchase date to
notify the national distributor via your AV reseller. The liability of the manufacturer and its
appointed service company is limited to the cost of repair and/or replacement of the faulty unit
under warranty , ex cep t f o r de ath o r injury (EU85/374 /EEC). This w a rranty p ro tects you agains t
the following:

• Failure of any components, including the power supply.

• Damage when the product is first removed from its packaging if reported within 24 hours of
purchase.
If you find you do have a problem with this product, you should contact the AV reseller you
purchased this product from. The original purchaser is responsible fo r shipment of the product
to the manufa cturer’s appointe d s erv ice ce ntre for repa ir.
We will endeavour to return repaired units within 5 working days, howev er this may not always
be possible, in which case it will be returned as soon as practicably possible. In line with our
WEEE commitm ents , the m a nuf a c turer endeavours to replace the fa ulty pa rts o f the product
rather than replacing the whole unit. This warranty does not protect this product against faults
caused by abuse, misuse, incorrect installation, unstable or f aulty pow er input, which might be
caused by ignoring the guidelines set out in this manual.
