I modelli della serie BEE sono stati progettati per garantire

manutenzione.
L’ utilizzo dell’ apparato si rivela molto facile ed intuitivo. Nonostante
ciò si raccomanda di leggere attentamente il presente manuale

I vostri diffusori BEE sono una scelta di eleganza e grande
tecnologia: qui di seguito troverete i loro punti di forza descritti in
breve. Complimenti per la scelta!
In una forma compatta ed originale, offrono una notevole efficienza
ed un’elevata qualità sonora, oltre
ad un set di controlli ampio e
versatile.
Per la loro progettazione sono state
utilizzate soluzioni tecniche di
avanguardia, come la realizzazione
di componenti acustici ad hoc,
l’impiego di materiali sintetici per la
costruzione dei cabinet e l’adozione
di uno speciale s istema di biamplificazione (BEE MAX, BEE
THEATRE e BEE STUDIO).
I cabinets sono costruiti con una
struttura estremamente robusta,
che consente di ottenere diffusori
dal peso ridotto ma dotati di
notevole robustezza, con una
rapporto ottimale tra rigidità e
leggerezza della struttura.
I diffusori della serie BEE possono
essere utilizzati anche come sorgenti sonore fisse in impianti Public
Address, grazie alla particolare struttura del cabinet.

La serie BEE utilizza altoparlanti costruiti su specifiche VOICE
SYSTEMS, realizzati allo scopo di fornire una risposta lineare anche
alle massime potenze con assenza di distorsione. Gli altoparlanti
VOICE SYSTEMS rappresentano un vero passo avanti nella
riproduzione musicale di qualità, in quanto consentono di
raggiungere un’ottima naturalezza timbrica favorendo un corretto
effetto stereofonico.
I diffusori della serie BEE si distinguono per la configurazione di
altoparlanti. I modelli descritti nel presente manuale condividono lo
stesso pannello controlli (vedi capitolo successivo).

Cura del prodotto
• Non applicate eccessiva forza alle strutture ed ai comandi
(manopole, interruttori).
• Evitate forti sollecitazioni del sistema sia nel corso del
trasporto che durante il suo utilizzo.
• Evitate di posizionare l'apparecchio in prossimità di fonti di
calore, in luoghi umidi o polverosi o nelle vicinanze di forti
campi magnetici.
• Non collocare, quando possibile, il sistema in prossimità di
unità che producano forti interferenze come apparecchi radio,
TV, monitor, ecc...
• Non introdurre per nessuna ragione oggetti estranei o liquidi
di qualsiasi genere all'interno dell'apparecchio.
• Per la pulizia usate solo un panno morbido od aria
compressa, non usate mai detergenti, solventi od alcool.
• Quando scollegate i cavi dalle prese abbiate cura di afferrarli
per il connettore e non per il cavo stesso; avvolgendoli,
inoltre, evitate nodi e torsioni.
• Evitate di esporre l'apparecchio all'irradiazione solare diretta.
• Per evitare il rischio di shock elettrico non effettuare i
collegamenti con le mani bagnate.
• Accertatevi che la tensione di rete corrisponda a quella
indicata sul pannello dell'amplificatore interno.
• Collegate la presa AC IN ad una presa di rete provvista di
contatto a terra.
• Per il collegamento degli strumenti, utilizzate sempre cavi
schermati di buona qualità.

Il pannello di controllo
I diffusori della Serie BEE sono sistemi di altoparlanti amplificati, fatta
ecezione per la versione passiva del modello THEATRE. Pertanto tutti e
quattro i modelli descritti nel presente manuale condividono lo stesso
pannello di controllo.
Vediamo il pannello di controllo comune ed i suoi comandi. Il nome del
modello è riportato vicino alla parola BEE. Nel pannello di esempio che
riportiamo è stato cancellato.
Hi Definition
Il primo controllo in alto, tenendo
“in piedi” il diffusore, è l’equalizzatore.
Ruotando verso destra si ottiene
un suono più brillante [+], a
sinistra più ovattato [-], per
mantenere un suono naturale
posizionare su una posizione
intermedia.
A destra dell’equalizzatore sono
presenti il connettore di MIX OUT
ed i LED:
ON (verde): visualizza la
accensione del diffusore. (Bee
Max e Bee Theatre hanno la
ripetizione del LED on sul pannello
frontale con luce blu).
SIGNAL LIMIT (rosso): quando
lampeggiante visualizza il normale
funzionamento del diffusore,
quando acceso fisso indica
l’intervento del Limiter.
MIX OUT: Questo connettore
riporta in uscita lo stesso segnale
che viene amplificato sullo
altoparlante.
Questo permette la connessione di altri diffusori acustici e la riproduzione
dello stesso “mix”.

Mic LEVEL
Con questo controllo è possibile
controllare il volume del microfono
collegato con la presa XLR bilanciata
MIC INPUT. Ruotando il potenziometro
verso destra il volume aumenta.
Line LEVEL
Con questo controllo è possibile controllare il volume dell’apparecchiatura
con uscita livello Linea collegata con la presa XLR bilanciata LINE INPUT.
Ruotando il potenziometro verso destra il volume aumenta.
GND Lift
Con questo pulsante è possibile separare la massa del telaio dalla massa
elettrica, per ridurre eventuali ronzii. A tasto non premuto, le due masse
sono collegate.
LINK
Il connettore LINK riporta in uscita lo stesso segnale che
arriva al connettore LINE INPUT.
Questo permette la connessione di altri apparecchi alla
stessa sorgente.
Alimentazione
Per tutti i modelli, nella parte posteriore del pannello controlli sono
ricavate la vaschetta di collegamento per il cavo di alimentazione,
completa di fusibile di protezione, e l’interruttore di accensione.

Configurazione
I diffusori serie BEE di Voice Systems si presentano in un case
leggero e pratico da utilizzare: sul lato superiore è presente una
maniglia incassata che ne facilita il trasporto.
Nel caso si voglia posizionare l’unità in sospensione, sul diffusore
sono presenti gli attacchi a vite che permettono l’installazione delle
staffe a muro o dell’accessorio per l’installazione su un’asta porta
diffusori.

The BEE speaker systems are really revolutionary: in an original

synthetic materials for the cabinets,
and a special bi-amplification
system. (BEE MAX, BEE THEATRE

The cabinets are made of a high
impact enclosure, allowing rugged
sturdiness even with a light-weight
structure, with an optimal ratio
between rigidity and stability.
Thanks to the unique enclosure
shape, all BEE speaker systems can
be used as PA fixed installation
sound systems.

The BEE speaker systems are created by using customized
professional loudspeakers built on VOICE SYSTEMS specifications,
designed for great linear response at maximum power, with lower
distortion rates. The VOICE SYSTEMS speakers achieve a great
natural sound with an excellent and accurate stereo imaging.
All BEE speaker systems incorporate Voice Systems’ unique
transducer structure. The models described in this manual all share
the same control panel (see next chapter):

Product care
• Do not apply excessive force to the structures and/or the
controls (knobs and switches).
• Avoid the system being subjected to strong impact both
during transportation and while in use.
• Do not place the equipment near heat sources, in damp
or dusty places or near magnetic fields.
• Whenever possible, do not place the system near
equipment likely to produce strong interference such as
radios - TVs, monitors, etc...
• Avoid spilling any foreign objects or any kind of liquid into
the equipment.
• For cleaning purposes, use only a soft cloth or
compressed air, never use detergents, solvents or spirits.
• When unplugging cables always hold them by the plug
and not by the lead itself; when winding them up, avoid
knots and twists.
• Do not expose the equipment to direct sunlight.
• In order to avoid the risk of electric shock never make
power connections with wet hands.
• Make sure that the main voltage corresponds with that
shown on the inside of the amplifier panel.
• Connect the AC IN socket to a properly grounded power
supply.
• Always use the highest quality cables for connections.

The control panel
The BEE Series Speaker Systems are all powered speaker systems, (with
the exception of the passive THEATRE version). Therefore all four models
here described share the same control panel.
Let us review the control panel commands. The name of your model is
located near the “BEE” logo printed on your product. In the example panel
we show on the manual the model name has been removed.
Hi Definition
It is the first control from the top
(keeping the speaker in an
upright position).
Rotating clockwise you obtain a
brighter sound [+], counterclockwise a darker one [-]; to
keep original sound shape use an
intermediate position.
Next to the eq control, there are
two LEDs and the MIX OUT
connector:
ON (green) - the speaker is on.
(Bee Theatre and Bee Max
models have the On blue light on
front panel too).
SIGNAL LIMIT (red) - when
flashes the speaker works in
normal mode, when fix shows
that limiter is working.
MIX OUT
This connector carries the same
signal that is driving the
speakers. This is useful to
connect other speaker systems.

Mic LEVEL
With this control it is possible to
manage the volume of
the XLR MIC INPUT.
Clockwise means
louder.
Line LEVEL
With this control it is possible to manage the volume of the XLR LINE INPUT.
Clockwise means louder.
GND Lift
With this button it is possible to split the chassis ground
noise from the signal ground noise.
Normally, the ground noises are in common mode when
the key is not pressed. Pressing the key the ground
noises are removed.
LINK
The LINK connector sends on output the same signal coming from LINE
INPUT connector. This allow the connection of different devices to the same
sound source.
Power supply
On the bottom part of the control panel the AC in cable connector is
located. The power connection has fuse protection.
The power on switch is located on the side
of the device.

Configuration
The Voice Systems BEE speaker is built in a very light and easy to
use case: a professional handle is located on the top of
the system.
Screw mounting holes are located on bottom, left and right side of
the cabinet, if it is needed to locate the speakers on
stands, or hang them on a wall.

BEE Lautsprechersystem
Das Gehäuse der BEE besteht aus einem schwarzen,
hochverdichtetem Kunststoffmaterial, welches sich durch hohe
Stoßfestigkeit bei niedrigem Gewicht
auszeichnet, so daß die BEE mit
einem Gewicht von ca. 4,5 kg recht
transportfreundlich ist.
Audioqualität
Die Lautsprecherkomponenten der
BEE wurden speziell für die Systeme
der BEE Serie entwickelt und
aufeinander abgestimmt. Hierbei
stand insbesondere die Erzielung
eines linearen Frequenzganges bei
maximaler Leistung im Vordergrund.

Sicherheitsvorkehrungen
Nachfolgend ist eine Liste grundlegender Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
aufgeführt, die bei Verwendung der BEE Serie beachtet werden
sollten, um Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden.
• Nehmen Sie Anschlußverbindungen jeglicher Art niemals mit
feuchten Händen vor, um das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlags zu
vermeiden.
• Vermeiden Sie übermäßigen Kraftaufwand bei der Bedienung
des Geräts.
• Vermeiden Sie während des Betriebs oder Transports des
Geräts mechanische Belastungen (indem Sie z. B. schwere
Gegenstände darauf ablegen).
• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten, an denen in hohem
Maße Feuchtigkeit oder Staub vorhanden sind, sowie in der Nähe
von Wärmequellen oder starken Magnetfeldern.
• Plazieren Sie das Gerät möglichst weit entfernt von anderen

• Achten Sie darauf, daß niemals Flüssigkeiten oder
Fremdkörper in das Geräteinnere gelangen.
• Verwenden Sie keine lösungsmittelhaltigen Reiniger.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung des Geräts ein weiches, leicht
angefeuchtetes Tuch.
• Im Geräteinnern befinden sich keine vom Anwender zu
wartenden Teile. Falls Betriebsstörungen auftreten, wenden Sie sich
an qualifiziertes Fachpersonal. Versuchen Sie niemals, das Gerät
selbst zu reparieren.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz, wenn Sie es längere Zeit
nicht verwenden.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Originalnetzteile oder aber
solche, die den Vorgaben des Herstellers entsprechen. Stellen Sie
außerdem sicher, daß die Netzspannung der auf dem Netzteil
angegebenen entspricht.
• Trennen Sie vor dem Transport des Geräts alle

Die Kontroll-Sektion
Alle BEE Lautsprechersysteme sind Aktiv, außer die Passive THEATRE
Version. Nachfolgend eine Erklärung von einige Kontrollsektionen die für alle
Modelle gültig sind.
Hi Definition: Erste Kontrollregler
von oben. Befindet sich dieser
Regler in der Mitte, hat es eine
neutrale Einstellung.
In Richtung [-] werden die Höhen
abgesenkt, in Richtung [+]
entsteht ein höhenreicheres
Klangbild.
An der Seite der Hi Def. Kontrolle
sind zwei LEDs und die MIX OUT
Verbindung.
Signal–Limit LED: Diese Anzeige
leuchtet auf (Rot), wenn der
Compressor arbeitet und die
Leistungsgrenze erreicht ist.
ON (Grün) LED: Zeigt den
Einschaltzustand der BEE an.
(Die Modelle Theatre und Max
haben auch ein LED (blau) an der
Frontseite)
Mix Out: Mit diesem Ausgang
können zugeführte Eingangssignale unverstärkt an weitere
Lautsprecher - Systeme geleitet
werden.

Mic LEVEL: Hiermit wird die Lautstärke
des Mikrofon-Signals eingestellt (am
Mic-Eingang anliegend).
Line LEVEL: Hiermit wird die
Lautstärke des Line-Signals eingestellt
(am Line-Eingang anliegend).
GND Lift Schalter: Bei eventuell
auftretenden Brummschleifen innerhalb
des Systems dient dieser Schalter zur Trennung der Audiomasse vom
Gehäuse. Beachten Sie bitte, daß innerhalb des Systems immer eine
geerdete Komponente in Betrieb ist.

Line Input (XLR): Anschluß einer externen
Klangquelle wie Keyboard, CD-Player etc..
LINK: Ausgang-anschluß als Line Input Replikator.

Lautsprechersystems befindet sich der
Ein/Aus-Schalter sowie die Anschlußbuchse für
das Netzkabel. Das Netzteil ist mit einer
Schutzsicherung versehen.

Konfiguration
Das BEE-Lautsprechersystem besteht aus einem besonders robust
aufgebautem Kunststoffgehäuse. Hohe Verwindungssteifheit sowie
eine wiederstandsfähige Oberflächenstruktur sind das Ergebnis
eines speziell entwickelten Kunststoffes.
Die BEE Lautsprecherserie kann man mittels ein Flansch-Adapter das
am Gehäuse (unten oder seitlich links/rechts) aufgeschraubt werden
kann, sowohl auf Hochständern als auch für Wand- oder
Deckenmontage horizontal und/oder vertikal installieren.

An der Gehäusevorderseite ist der Lautsprecher der BEE mit einem

compatibilité avec tous les instruments de musique actuels.
Les modèles de la série BEE ont été conçus pour garantir des
prestations fréquentes et dans des condition parfois difficiles, et ceci

Vos diffuseurs BEE représentent un choix élégant et de grande
technologie: vous trouverez ci-après leurs points forts décrits

De forme compacte et originale, ils sont très efficaces et offrent une
qualité sonore élevée, outre un
ensemble de commandes vaste et
polyvalent.
Des solutions techniques à l’avantgarde ont été utilisées pour leur
conception, comme la réalisation
d’éléments acoustiques idèal pour
l’utilisation de matériaux synthé-
tiques pour la construction des
enceintes et l’adoption d’un système
spécial de bi-amplification (BEE
MAX, BEE THEATRE et BEE
STUDIO).
Les enceintes sont construites avec
une structure extrêmement robuste
qui permet d’obtenir des enceintes
au poids réduit mais très
résistantes, avec un rapport optimal
rigidité/légèreté, de la structure.
La série BEE utilise des haut-parleurs construits sur des
spécifications VOICE SYSTEMS, réalisés en vue de fournir une
réponse linéaire aux puissances maximales et, ce sans distorsion.

Soin du produit
• Ne pas appliquer une force excessive sur les structures et les
commandes (poignées, interrupteurs).
• Eviter les contraintes fortes au système aussi bien durant le
transport que durant l’utilisation.
• Eviter de positionner l’appareil à proximité de sources de
chaleur, dans des lieux humides ou poussiéreux ou près de champs
magnétiques élevés.
• Ne pas placer, lorsque cela est possible, le système à
proximité d’unités produisant de fortes interférences radio comme
les postes de radio, téléviseurs, moniteurs, etc.
• Ne jamais introduire de corps étrangers ou liquides à
l’intérieur de l’appareil.
• Lors du débranchement des câbles des prises tenir les câbles
par le connecteur; en les enroulant, éviter les nœuds et les torsions.
• Eviter d’exposer l’appareil à l’irradiation solaire directe.
• Pour éviter le risque de choc électrique ne pas effectuer les
connexions avec les mains mouillées.
• Vérifier que la tension de secteur correspond à la tension
indiquée sur le panneau de l’amplificateur interne.
• Brancher la prise AC IN à une prise dotée de contact à terre.
• Pour le branchement des instruments utiliser toujours des
câbles de bonne qualité.

Le panneau de contrôle
Les diffuseurs de la série BEE sont des systèmes de haut-parleurs
amplifiés, L'exception a été faite pour la version passive du modèle
THÉATRE. Par conséquent tous les quatre modèles ici décrit utilisent le
même panneau de contrôle.
A propos des réglages du panneau de commande, la référence du modèle
que vous possédez est près du logo BEE. Sur la façade de l'exemple du
manuel, la référence à été volontairement omise, compte tenu que ces
réglages sont communs à plusieurs modèles.
Hi Definition
La première commande en haut,
en tenant le baffle à la verticale,
est l’équaliseur.
En tournant vers la droite on
obtient un son plus brillant [+], en
tournant vers la gauche un son
plus feutré [-]; pour garder un son
naturel utilisez une position
intermédiaire.
A côté de l’égaliseur sont présentes
deux LED et le connecteur MIX
OUT:
ON (verte): affiche l’allumage du
baffle. (Les modèles BEE THEATRE
et BEE MAX possède une led bleue
sur le panneau avant aussi)
SIGNAL LIMIT (rouge): lorsqu’elle
clignote, elle affiche le
fonctionnement normal de
l’enceinte, lorsqu’elle reste
allumée, elle indique l’intervention
du Limiteur.
MIX OUT
connecteur pour l’éventuelle liaison
avec un autre appareil auquel on
souhaite envoyer la sortie mixée du BEE.

Line LEVEL
Ce potentiomètre permet de contrôler
le volume des entrées de ligne LINE
INPUT. En tournant le potentiomètre
vers la droite il sera possible
d’augmenter le volume.
Mic LEVEL
Ce potentiomètre permet de contrôler
le niveau du signal sur l’entrée micro MIC INPUT. En tournant le
potentiomètre vers la droite il sera possible d’augmenter le volume.
GND Lift
Ce bouton permet de séparer la masse de l’appareil du
restant des autres masses électriques, pour réduire
d’éve ntuels ronflements indésirables. Lorsque la touche
est relâchée, les deux masses sont reliées.
LINK
Le connecteur du LINK renvoie sur la sortie OUTPUT le
même signal qui vient de Ligne INPUT du connecteur. Cela autorise la
connexion de différents appareils à la même source initiale.
Alimentation
Pour tous les modèles, dans la partie
postérieure du panneau de commandes on
trouvera le logement pour le câble
d’alimentation, le fusible de protection, et
l’interrupteur d’allumage.

Configuration
Le diffuseur de la série BEE de Voice Systems se présente dans un
logement léger et pratique à utiliser: en haut est présente une
poignée encastrée qui facilite le transport.
Si l'on souhaite surélever l'unité est présent un logement spécial
d'un point de fixation a vis situe sur le fond, sur la côté gauche et
droit de l'appareil pour l'installation d'une tige porte-diffuseurs ou
être positionnèes horizontalment et/ou verticalment en fixation
murales au plafond avec un accessoire.
