VK200 COB

The VK200 Cob is a powerful LED Cob Light using a dual
white Warm White/Cool White 200w chip. It’s main purpose
is to give the user the ability to control the colour temperature of
the light’s white output from traditional Tungsten to the blue white
colour of moving lights.

Power to the light is via Powercon Mains cable and up to 15 lights can be daisychained via the powercon
in / out sockets for ease of cabling. DMX Data is in/out via XLR 3 pin connectors and as with all DMX
products it is recommended to fit a Terminator to the last DMX product on the data line to ensure a clean
signal.

On the rear of the unit is an external fuse carrier for a 20mm 3a fuse to protect the unit. If necessary to check
or replace the fuse just gently turn the fuse holder cap with a cross head screwdrive - do not use excessive force.

Barndoors and colour frames fit the front runners on the light - ensure the locking spring is applied to ensure,
if inverted, they cannot fall out.

Operation

Simple to operate there are built in programs for creating effects, but in practice these are not normally of any
use as the colour temperature and brightness are the two properties that are likely to be used.

To Set DMX Mode:

In order to enter the DMX start address of the unit select either D001 or A001 on the menu, then enter the
required start address using the Up or Down buttons and when correct for your requirement remember to
press Enter to store. The unit remembers settings when turned off as long as the Enter button has been pressed.

An Address beginning A ie:A012 is for using the light in 6 channel mode whereas an address beginning D
ie : D012 is for using the light in basic 2 channel mode. The unit will not respond to DMX if either an A or D
address are not set on the back of the unit. After a few seconds the display will blank - to view again press
any button.
