The Vitotronic control series
embodies a completely new
operating philosophy, developed with
the needs of the end user and the
heating contractor in mind.

All operating elements were
designed according to the latest
ergonomic standards. A special
folding mechanism on the Vitotronic
200 and 300 controls allows the user
to adjust the display to any desired
position. For us, comfort starts with
ease of operation – no problem with
the Vitotronic controls.

The control is the brain of your
heating system, optimizing the
operation of the system as a whole. It
performs many tasks independently
and efficiently, thereby saving the
system owner a lot of energy and
money.

Sensors provide up-to-date
information about outdoor
temperature and, depending on the
control model, about room
temperature(s) and the supply
temperature of the boiler. The control
in turn uses this information to
calculate adequate room and boiler
water temperatures. Time of year and
day are also taken into account, and
circulating pumps are individually
and demand-operated. Bottom line:
No energy wasted, operating cost is
at a minimum.

The Holiday Program of the
Vitotronic saves you money even
when you are away! Enter departure
and return dates, and the holiday
function of the control will maintain a
minimum room temperature during
your absence, while making sure, of
course, that your home is
comfortably warm and hot water is
available upon your return.

The display of the control is large,
clearly legible and illuminated. But
better yet – it uses plain language!
Anyone can read and understand it,
saving the user from searching
through the operating instructions.

Easy operation means less operation.
Smart operation is achieved when
most needs are satisfied before one
becomes aware of them. The Vitotronic
does exactly that – it controls a lot of
functions automatically, such as
resetting to daylight savings time.
Program switching times can be set at
the push of a button. Preset hot water
production times and pump operation
times are automatically adjusted when
changes to space heating program
switching times are made.
