Program your remote to get started,
it’s really easy.

Troubleshooting

Your remote is already programmed
to control your Terminal. Follow the

steps below to program your remote to
your TV.

HERE’S HOW:

1. Install the batteries.

2. Find the manufacturer’s code for your
TV (see other side).

3. Turn on your TV.

4. Press and hold the SET button until the
red light ashes twice, then release.

5. Enter the rst manufacturer’s code
you found in step 2 (the red light will
ash twice).

6. Press the POWER button. If the TV
turns o, make sure that the VOL+/-
and MUTE buttons also work. If so,
you’re all set!

7. If not, repeat these steps using the
next manufacturer’s code (you may
need to try several codes before nding
the one that works).

CAN’T FIND YOUR CODE?

If you can’t program your remote using
the codes on the back, follow the steps
below.

1. Turn on your TV.

2. Press and hold the SET button un

­til the red light ashes twice, then
release.

3. Enter 9-9-1 (the red light will
ash twice).

4. Press CH+ multiple times until the TV
turns o.

5. Once the TV turns o, press SET.

SAVE YOUR TV CODE

For future reference, write the valid

manufacturer’s code for your TV here:

Q. Why does the red light display one

long ash during programming?

A. You may have entered the wrong code.

Make sure the code matches the
manufacturer of your TV and try
programming it again.

Q. Why does my red light ash, but when

I press a key, nothing happens?

A. Make sure the remote control is aimed at

your home entertainment device and is
no further than 4.5 metres (15 feet) away.
Also, make sure your Terminal isn’t being
blocked by anything.

Q. Why isn’t there any volume or sound?

A. Try pressing the MUTE button to restore

sound.

Q. Can I program this remote to control

my DVD player or other device?

A. This remote is designed to control your

Terminal as well as the volume on your
TV. The remote cannot be programmed
to other devices.

Votre télécommande est déjà programmée
pour actionner votre Terminal. Pour faire

fonctionner votre télé, programmez votre
télécommande comme suit:

1. Insérez les piles.

2. Trouvez le code du fabricant qui
correspond à votre télé (voir au dos
de ce guide).

3. Allumez votre télé.

4. Appuyez sur la touche SET et
maintenez-la enfoncée jusqu’à ce que
le voyant rouge clignote deux fois, puis
relâchez-la.

5. Entrez le code du fabricant que vous
avez trouvé à l’étape2 (le voyant rouge
clignotera deux fois).

6. Appuyez sur la touche POWER. Si la télé
s’éteint, assurez-vous que les touches
VOL+/- et MUTE fonctionnent. Si c’est
le cas, la programmation est terminée!

7. Sinon, répétez les étapes2 à 6 en
utilisant un autre code proposé par le
fabricant (vous devrez peut-être essayer
plusieurs codes avant d’en trouver un
qui fonctionne).

AUCUN CODE NE
FONCTIONNE?

Si vous n’arrivez pas à programmer votre
télécommande en utilisant les codes
achés au dos de ce guide, procédez
comme suit:

1. Allumez votre télé.

2. Appuyez sur la touche SET de la
télécommande et maintenez-la en

­foncée jusqu’à ce que le voyant rouge
clignote deux fois, puis relâchez-la.

3. Entrez 9-9-1 (le voyant rouge

Q. Pourquoi le voyant rouge eectue-t-il

un long clignotement durant la
programmation?

R. Vous avez peut-être entré le mauvais

code. Vériez que le code du fabricant
correspond à votre télé, puis
recommencez la programmation.

Q. Le voyant rouge clignote, mais

l’appareil ne répond pas quand
j’appuie sur une touche de la
télécommande. Que dois-je faire?

R. Assurez-vous que la télécommande

pointe vers le Terminal et qu’elle n’est pas
à plus de 4,5m (15pi) de distance. De
plus, assurez-vous que rien n’obstrue le
devant du Terminal.

Q. Il n’y a aucun son. Que dois-je faire?

R. Appuyez sur la touche MUTE pour

rétablir le son.

Q. Puis-je utiliser cette télécommande

pour faire fonctionner mon lecteur
DVD ou tout autre appareil?

R. Non. Cette télécommande est conçue

pour faire fonctionner votre Terminal et
régler le volume de votre télé. Elle ne peut
être programmée pour commander
d’autres appareils.

POWER: Turn your TV and Terminal

: Tune in to your favourite chan-

has been programmed, these keys
control the volume on your TV

CH+/-: Go up or down a channel

Mute: Turn the sound on and o

then EXIT: Activate or deactivate

SET : Sert à programmer votre

Clavier numérique (0-9) : Sert à

souhaitez syntoniser (par exemple

chaîne favorite.

EXIT : Sert à quitter les écrans
interactifs.

VOLUME LOCK

The remote control is preprogrammed to control the volume on
your Terminal. Once a valid TV code has been programmed, the
VOL +/- will control the volume on the TV. If needed, you can
change this setup by following the steps below.

Change volume lock from your TV to your Terminal:

1. Press and hold the SET button until the red light ashes twice,
then release.

2. Enter 9-9-3 (the red light will ash twice).

3. Press 1 (the red light will ash 4 times).

Change volume lock from your Terminal to your TV:

1. Press and hold the SET button until the red light ashes twice,
then release.

2. Enter 9-9-3 (the red light will ash twice). Note: If the remote
hasn’t been
programmed to your TV yet, the red light on the remote will
display one long ash.

3. Press 2 (the red light will ash twice).

VERROUILLAGE DU VOLUME

La télécommande est programmée à l’avance de manière à ce que vous puissiez
régler le volume à partir du Terminal. Une fois le code du fabricant de la télé entré
— lors de la programmation de la télécommande —, la touche VOL +/- permet de
régler le volume de la télé. Au besoin, vous pouvez modier cette conguration en
suivant les étapes ci-dessous.

Transférez le verrouillage du volume de la télé au Terminal :

rouge clignote deux fois, puis relâchez-la.

2. Entrez 9-9-3 (le voyant rouge clignotera deux fois).

3. Appuyez sur la touche 1 (le voyant rouge clignotera quatre fois).

Transférez le verrouillage du volume du Terminal à la télé:

rouge clignote deux fois, puis relâchez-la.

2. Entrez 9-9-3 (le voyant rouge clignotera deux fois). Note : Si la télécommande
n’a pas encore été programmée pour que vous puissiez actionner votre télé, le
voyant rouge de la télécommande eectuera un long clignotement.

3. Appuyez sur la touche 2 (le voyant rouge clignotera deux fois).
