7. Heavy Cast Lids
A truly unique plus for Victorio™Cookware are the precise fitting, heavy and secure lids. No annoying rattle! During cooking, a substantial vapor lock is created with up to 3 times the inside cooking pressure as with lightweight, sheet-pressed lids. Victorio™lids are cast all one piece and up to 3 times the weight of typical sheet-pressed lids to truly retain flavors while cooking. Also, with it’s tight fit and heavy weight, the cast lid receives and retains considerable heat from the pan itself, so food is effectively heated from all sides. Heat escape is virtually eliminated. Finally, inside of the lid features a Drip-Ring™design for self-basting.
8. Hard-Anodized Surfaces
Through the unique anodizing process, the cast metal alloy shell is permanently altered to a 60 micron, hard surface. The entire piece is hard-anodized, outside and inside. This hard surface anodizing is integrated with the metal. It is not a coating. It cannot come off.
9. Eclipse®Non-Stick Interior
For ease of cooking and cleaning, Victorio™features arguably the most durable of all non-stick coatings. The Eclipse
®
coating is applied over the already hard anodized interior for the ultimate combination of strength and ease of use. The Whitford branded Eclipse®is a 3-coat process, shown in tests to outlast other internally reinforced coatings by a factor of 10.
10. Professional Riveted Handles
Full-Grip™all cast stainless steel handles stay cool. These heav y weight handles are permanently secured with professional all stainless steel riveting.
11. Pure Special Alloy Performance
Because Victorio™is hand-cast, a 97% pure special alloy aluminum may be used. Other cookwares have up to 15% of silicone and additives in their material content, decreasing heat performance.
12. Easy Cleaning
Hand washing is best with your hand-cast cookware. The Eclipse®interiors practically rinses clean. Victorio
Cookware can be dishwasher safe if used with low phosphate dishwashing compounds. However the hard-anodized exterior will stain when used with most of today’s common dishwashing compounds. Hand washing is easy on this cookware and always recommended.
13. Oven Safe
Whether keeping food warm or broiling, this cookware is absolutely and completely oven safe.
14. 75-Year Warranty
With proper care, Victorio™cookware can only improve with age.
1. Hand-Cast Construction
No sheet-pressed ply layers to bond, no bottom disks to attach – each piece is an original, integral casting. This all one piece construction is primary. It is at the core of understanding the “why?” of Victorio™Cookware’s truly unique and special cooking characteristics.
2. Extra Thick Side Walls
Heavy 4 mm side walls are cast with the bottom, all in one piece . Other sheet-pressed pans are only 2 – 3 mm, made up of multiple layers of bonded sheet ply.
3. Even Thicker, Non-Warping Bottoms
Absolutely no possibility of pan warping, ever! Heavy bottoms have incredible 6 mm thickness! These bottoms are not separately attached to the pan, as in encapsulated bottoms. The bottom is naturally all one piece and part of the entire pan construction.
4. Superior Cast Micro-Pore™Heat Distribution
Hand casting has millions of internal microscopic pores. Heat very quickly fills each Micro-Pore™, then transfers from pore to pore, throughout the body very quickly and efficiently. Then the heat rapidly transfers not only across the bottom but directly up the sides as well. Cooks will enjoy a faster and more even heat distribution than with sheet-pressed cookwares.
5. Superior Cast Micro-Pore™Heat Retention
The internal Micro-Pores™provide a greatly increased heating surface area. Once heat builds up in the millions of Micro-Pores™, it is naturally retained inside of the body up to twice as long as with sheet-pressed cookware. Cooks enjoy a slower, more even and uniform heating for truly special cooking results. No sheet material has this special retention property. It is unique to the Victorio™hand-casting process.
6. Convenient Spouts
Pans incorporate a convenient pouring spout feature cast right into most pieces. Spouts can be covered by the cast lid or left open for convenient venting or pouring. You won’t find spouts of this quality on sheet-pressed cookwares because it’s not suitable to the sheet-pressed manufacturing process.

Use & Care of Victorio™Cookware
Victorio™Hard-Anodized, Hand-Cast Aluminum Alloy Cookware
The three primary ways to care for Victorio™Cookware are:
S
Season before first use.
S
Hand wash only.
S
Use only nylon or wooden utensils.
Season Inside of Pan Before First Use
Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Lightly rub a small amount of cooking oil onto the non-stick surface. Heat the pan in 250-degree oven for 3 minutes and let cool. Hand wash in warm soapy water and rinse. Pan is ready for first use.
Note: Do not season the hard-anodized exterior. The exterior does not require seasoning.
Hand Wash Only
Dishwashing is not recommended. Harsh, caustic dishwasher detergents will leave unsightly white streaks on the hard anodized exterior. If such streaking results from improper cleaning, these streaks will not be able to be completely removed. Streaks will not affect the performance of the cookware in any way.
Use Only Nylon or Wooden Utensils
The Eclipse®non-stick coating is extremely durable, up to 10 times more that comparable non-stick coatings. In technical tests, it has an extremely long life even under use with metal utensils. However, as with most fine cookware, our official recommendation as the manufacturer is to use only nylon or wooden utensils when cooking. This way, you will be sure of a maximum long cooking life for your fine cookware.
About the Hard-Anodized Surface
The Victorio™Cookware has a “hard-anodized” surface on the exterior, as well as on the interior, underneath the 3-coat Eclipse®non-stick coating. Hard-anodizing is a special process that permanently alters the surface and is extremely durable. The hard-anodizing is integrated with the metal. It is not a coating. It cannot come off.
If metal tools contact the exterior surface, marks can be created. Marks appear like scratches, but they are not. They are actually a residue left from the metal tool itself.
The hard-anodized exterior may be reconditioned to its original appearance by using a nylon scouring pad to buff out the marks.
How To Clean
Interior Cleaning
The Eclipse®non-stick coating makes it easy to clean with just mild soap and warm water. For burned-on food or grease, just let soak in soapy water overnight, then wash as usual again with soap
and warm water. For food that is heavily burned-on, add about 3 tablespoons of bleach to the hot soapy water and let soak
overnight. In this case, you should also then re-season the pan like you did for the pans first use.
Exterior Cleaning
Use a mild nylon scouring pad, like Scotch-Brite™brand pad or comparable. Use mild dish soap. Hand wash only. Never use steel scouring pads.
Only hand washing is recommended for your hand-cast cookware. Dishwashing is not recommended because the hard anodized exterior stains when used with many of popular dishwashing compounds. In some cases dishwashing has been safe on hard-anodized surfaces if used with certain special low phosphate dishwashing compounds. VillaWare however does not recommend dishwashing for Victorio™Cookware.
Handles Cleaning
Your handles are all stainless steel. Clean them as you would normally clean the pan. Periodically you could use a metal polish to clean them further. Be careful that your metal polish does not get onto the hard-anodized exterior surfaces.
Important Hints
S
When nesting or stacking your cookware, use extra care because exterior and interior surfaces can be scratched and damaged. While this will not really affect the cooking performance, it will help keep your cookware in good looking condition.
S
Never immerse a hot pan in cold water. Always let the roasting pan cool before washing. Sudden temperature changes will damage your cookware.
S
Never overheat an empty pan. This will potentially damage the cookware.
S
The stainless steel handles, as used by commercial cooks, are very durable, but can get hot. Use mit or glove as necessary. The handles are oven safe, as is all of the cookware itself.
