Product Description
Vibra-Tite 480 is a multi-purpose thread sealant with
PTFE. T his non-hardening soft s et, nontoxic thread
sealant is formulated for sealing and protecting NPT
pipe f ittings a nd is especially suited to seal p iping
for applications for pressurized air, natural gas, water
lines, a nd f ire s prinkler systems, as well as o ther
fluid/air c onditions. 480 provides s ealing
performance upon a pplication a nd is s pecifically
formulated t o s eal t hreaded co nnections against
leakage due to internal pressure.
Special Features
• Contains no lead or harmful metals and is perfectly
safe for use on potable water line.
• Conforms to Federal Specification TT-S-1732 and
the requirements of British Standard 6920: Parts 1
& 2.
• FGG/BM/CZ™ System Compatible*.
• Contains PTFE. Seals upon application.

Instructions for Use
Ensure p arts ar e cl ean, d ry and f ree f rom o il an d
grease. Applied material directly onto threaded parts
using t he br ush t op c ap s upplied with t he pr oduct.
Coated parts may be installed immediately (no drying
time required).
