EXPLANATION:
To prevent the “pop noise” while the CRT is driven when the TV is turned on, the below modification will
be applied, to all AK33 chassis products. By this modification the mute voltage range is more stable and
the mute phase of the audio amplifier is not affected with the voltage change and the peaks that are seen
when the CRT is driven. The main cause of the effect is the discharge of the CRT through the blader
resistor that we have in our 29” RF Dream FBTs. So in other models then 29” RF we do not observe this
“pop noise” effect. In addition to the modification in the chassis , in 29” RF models also ferittes will be
used to make the speaker cables pass through them. These ferittes will prevent the effect of the degaussing
on the audio outputs after the TV is switched on.
