operation in two different ways
If a switch (1, 2 or 3) is set in position "AUTO" (automatic), the corresponding motor will travel to the end-stop after one press of the button. If a switch is set in position "MAN" (manual), the motor will run only as long as the button is pressed. "AUTO/MAN" can be set individually for each motor. The examples at the foot of the page show which switch belongs to which motor.
Where there is a risk of personal injury, eg in children's rooms, the switches should be set in position "MAN". Switch no. 4 must always be in position “ON”.
Setting the security code:
Setting your personal security code (set of ten switches): Set the same security code in the infra-red receiver and remote control, but do not set the code shown. Do not set all switches in position "OFF".
IMPORTANT: The same security code must be used for all VELUX products in the whole house. It is recommended to change the security code from time to time.
Emergency operation of the window: Stop button
By pressing the stop button on the infra-red receiver, the window operator is stopped immediately.
ENGLISH
Fitting the infra-red receiver:
Fit the infra-red receiver as shown, if this has not already been done.
Remote control: Batteries
Fit the batteries supplied (type 1.5 volt AAA) in the remote control as shown. If display shows “LOW BAT”, please change the batteries.
Use of remote control

shutter).
2 :“ALL”: Selects all windows. 3 : / : Selects a specific window. 4 : Display shows the selected motor type and window. 5 : open/up, stop, close/down.
Remote control holder
Fit remote control holder to wall. The remote control can be fixed in the holder by means of the top bracket.
IMPORTANT: If you choose to fix the remote control in the holder, make sure that transmission from the remote control to the infra-red receiver is not inhibited.
Operation of one window: Operation of window operator
Press “M” to select window operator (M1). Press “ALL”. Press open, stop, close.
Operation of window operator, blind and roller shutter

Numbering of the windows:
Give the windows numbers in the order from 1-10 so that they can be operated separately. Each individual window is given a number by positioning the code switch in the infrared receiver to the desired number. The number of the window corresponds to the number in the remote control display, which is selected by pressing / .

Surface maintenance: Remove surface treatment (varnish or paint). Prime the timber. Ensure surface is clean and dry and apply a coat of waterbased acrylic varnish/paint (always follow the manufacturer’s directions). Apply the same method to the affected areas if the varnish/paint is damaged.
Cleaning the window (GGU)
The white polyurethane surface can be cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.
Cleaning the flashing
Leaves and other debris should be removed from the flashing around the window once per year to allow rainwater to flow freely.
Cleaning the rain sensor
Dirt on the rain sensor may cause operating problems. Therefore, it is recommended to clean the rain sensor with a soft wet cloth once or twice a year or when needed.
Fitting of rain sensor:
Fit the rain sensor as shown, if this has not already been done. If the rain sensor gets wet, the window operator automatically closes the window.
The power must be switched off when fitting the rain sensor!
Installation on top cover of window (GGL/GGU)
Adhere rain sensor to a dry, clean surface. Lead cable into the window as shown.
Installation on roller shutter (SML)/awning blind (MML)
Adhere rain sensor to a dry, clean surface. Lead cable under roller shutter/awning blind so that the window can be opened when the roller shutter/awning blind is rolled down. Then lead the cable into the window as shown.
Blinds and roller shutters:
The window is prepared for fitting of blinds and roller shutters as shown. Product availability may differ in your country. For further information, please contact VELUX.
Added features:
Several INTEGRA roof windows can be connected and operated centrally from keypads on the wall or through the connection to home automation systems. Each window can be connected to an external battery backup (WLB) for operation in case of power failure (ill. 12). For further information, please refer to appropriate instructions or contact VELUX.
ENGLISH
Closing device
If the remote control has been mislaid, the window can be closed by pressing a pointed object into the hole next to the stop button.
Note: After the closing device has been activated, it takes about 30 seconds before the window operator starts closing the window.
Manual operation of the window:
The window may be manually operated. The window operator engages and disengages automatically.
Cleaning the pane
Do NOT open the window by means of the window operator!
The power must be switched off.
Pull the control bar to open the window. Rotate the sash fully and secure by engaging the sash barrel bolt into the bushing at the bottom left hand corner of the frame. This allows both hands to be free for cleaning. Close the window.
Disengaging chain
If the chain needs to be disconnected when the window is in the open position, press the release button on bracket. The chain can be re-engaged by running the chain back into the window operator and then closing the window manually. If the chain does not run back because of power failure, fold the chain as shown and close the window.
Maintenance of the window:
Before carrying out steps B, E and F, switch off the power!
Minimising condensation
Particularly in rooms with high levels of humidity, condensation can form on the surface of the inner pane of the window. This can be minimised by fitting a radiator directly below the window and by airing the room frequently.
Cleaning the air filter
The air filter can be removed and washed in household detergent. Fully rotate and lock the window in cleaning position, then remove the filter from the filter rail. (New filters are available from VELUX).
Maintenance of timber (GGL) Pre-varnished (TOPfinish) and painted windows (PAINTfinish)
The timber has received basic treatment and a finished coating at the factory and can be cleaned with household cleaner. It must receive further treatment at least every four years and whenever required. Windows exposed to strong heat, strong sunlight and/or high levels of humidity (eg in kitchens or bathrooms) must, however, receive treatment at least every two years.
