THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING VELLO
The Vello Hand G rip Strap assures you of a constant firm grip
on your camera while you’re out shooting. The strap adjusts
to your hand, and an extra security strap wraps around your
wrist a nd lets the camera hang securely while you’re walking or
moving around. You’ll always be prepared to capture the shot
when you’re walking through the country or around the city
because when the moment arrives, all you need to do is raise
the camera to eye level and shoot.
The hand strap attaches to your camera’s /4-20 tripod socket
with an A rca-st yle quick-release baseplate , which can mount
onto a tripod or head when you need more suppor t. The
ergonomic strap is padded for comfort during extended use.
When your hand gets f atigued, you can easily attach a shoulder
or cross-body strap to the fold-down eyelet on the baseplate .

ATTACHING THE STR AP AND FITTING TO YOUR
HAND
1. Screw the baseplate
into the c amera’s tripod
socket so the eyelet
doesn’t cove r the
battery compartment.
2. Thread the top strap up
through the camer a lug
on the trigger side.
3. Thre ad the top strap
through the loop and
the buckle, and tuck the
end of the s trap into the
pocket.

4. Put your hand through
the str ap. The str ap
should fit snugly around
your hand. To tighten
the str ap around your
hand, shorten the
bottom strap.
5. Wrap the securit y
strap around the inside
of your wrist.
6. Adjust the strap’s leng th
until it fi ts snugly around
your wrist.

MOUNTING TO A TRIPOD OR HEAD
The PGS-P can be mounted
onto a tripod or head.
1. Loosen your tripod head’s
Arca-style clamp, and
inser t the baseplate.
2. Support your camera
with one hand while you
balance the camera, and
tighte n the Arca cl amp
until secure.
Important! If the eyelet is not flush against the bottom of the
camer a, it will not fit into the clamp. Pre ss the eyelet release
button, and fold it up against the camer a’s base.
ATTACHING A SHOULDER OR CROSS-BODY STRAP
You can carry your camera on a shoulder strap, so it hangs
upside down at your hip with or without the hand strap.
1. Press the eyelet rele ase
button, and fold the
eyelet down until it
snaps into place.
2. At tach the shoulder
strap to the eyelet , and
adjust t he strap to the
desired length.

and re turn th e defect ive prod uct to Vell o along wi th the RM A number and
proof of purcha se. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s
own ri sk and exp ense.
