INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosi ng a Vello Lens Ad apter. Vello lens a dapters a llow you to use le nses from

manuf acturer s other tha n the maker of yo ur camera b ody, so you can mo unt a lens on a c amera

body wi th which it wo uld other wise be inco mpatible . Vello Lens Adapters fit se curely to the

lens, but not so tigh tly that they are dicul t to remove. P lease follow these inst ruction s to

mount a nd remove your Vello Lens Adap ter.

Alth ough the len s will t physicall y, automat ic diaphra gm (AE meter ing), and ot her funct ions dependent

on commu nicatio n between t he camera body and lens , will be di srupted by a l ens adapter. You will

need to set exposures manuall y or meter in aperture priority (stop-down) mode. Focusing to i nnity

is retained.

TO MOUNT THE LENS ADAPTER

Note: P lace the len s on a stable , at surfa ce when moun ting or rem oving your Vel lo Lens Adapter.

1. L ine up the rel ease tab on t he lens adapter

with th e red alignm ent dot on the l ens.

2. Rotate th e lens adapt er clock wise until it

locks into place.

3. Line u p the alignm ent dots on t he lens

adapt er and the camera.

4. Rotate the lens ass embly cloc kwise until it

locks into place.

TO REMOVE THE LENS ADAPTER

1. P ress the lens release b utton on th e

camera.

2. Rotate t he lens ass embly
counterclockwise to release.

3. Lif t and hold th e release t ab on the le ns
adapter.

4. Rotate the lens adapter counterclockwise
to release.

For Micro Four-Thirds (MFT) cameras, ena ble the “Sho ot withou t Lens” func tion in the menu of the camera.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

This VELLO product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after
replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty
shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider’s discretion, of any product that fails during nor­mal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or
part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider
reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.
This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper
installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, THE WARRANTY PROVIDER MAKES NEITHER
ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty

provides you with specic legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary from state to state.

To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Vello Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise
authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Vello along with the RMA number and proof
of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
