2. Safety Instructions

• Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not
accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

• This torch is for indoor use only.

• Use only NiMH rechargeable batteries. Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Remove the batteries when

the device is not being used.

• Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

3. Installing the Batteries

• Open the battery compartment by holding the upper part and turning the lower part in an anti-clockwise direction.

• Insert 3 x AA rechargeable batteries. Observe the polarity.

• Close the torch.

• Charging the Torch

Insert the charging dock into the mains (230VAC/50Hz). Insert the torch into the dock and switch on the torch. The blue
charge LED will light to indicate the torch is charging.

• Using the Torch

When the torch is charging, simply take it out of its charging dock. The torch will automatically light. Press the on/off button
to switch the torch on or off when it is out of the dock.

• Using the M Mode

The M button allows you to adjust the intensity of the torch. Press once to use the full intensity, price twice to use the
medium intensity, press thrice to use the low intensity. Press a fourth time to use the flashing mode. Note that the torch will
switch on with the last mode before switch off.

• Using the Emergency Mode

Switch on the torch and press the SOS button. The torch will flash the SOS sequence, i.e. three fast flashes, three slow
flashes, three fast flashes.

• Using the Torch As A Nightlight

Press the on/off button when the torch is in its charging dock. Select the intensity using the M button.

• Using the Torch As An Emergency Light

In its dock, the torch will automatically light in case of a power failure. The torch will decrease the light intensity in order to
save battery power.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

• De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de

verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

• Deze zaklamp is enkel geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis.

• Gebruik enkel herlaadbare NiMH-batterijen en vermijd niet-herlaadbare batterijen. Verwijder de batterijen wanneer u de

zaklamp niet gebruikt.

• Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel vallen niet onder de garantie.

3. Batterijen plaatsen

• Open het batterijvak door het bovenste gedeelte vast te houden en het onderste gedeelte tegen de wijzers van de klok

in te draaien.

• Plaats 3 herlaadbare AA-batterijen. Respecteer de pola ri tei t.

• Sluit de zaklamp.

5. Gebruik

• De zaklamp laden

Koppel het laadstation aan het lichtnet (230VAC/50Hz). Plaats de zaklamp in het laadstation en schakel de zaklamp in. De
blauwe led licht op om aan te duiden dat het laadproces is gestart.

• De zaklamp gebruiken

Verwijder de zaklamp eenvoudigweg uit het laadstation. De zaklamp licht automatisch op. Druk op de aan-uitschakelaar om
de zaklamp in of uit te schakelen indien deze uit het laadstation is verwijderd.

• De M-modus

Stel de lichtsterkte in met de M-knop Druk eenmaal om de maximale lichtsterkte, druk een tweede maal om de gemiddelde
lichtsterkte en druk een derde maal om de laagste lichtsterkte in te stellen. Druk een vierde maal om het flitslicht te
gebruiken. Merk op dat de zaklamp de laatst gebruikte ingestelde lichtsterkte voor uitschakeling behoudt.

• De zaklamp als noodsignaal

Schakel de zaklamp in en druk op de SOS-knop. De zaklamp flitst nu het SOS-signaal: driemaal snel, driemaal traag,
driemaal snel.

• De zaklamp als nachtlampje

Druk op de aan-uitschakelaar indien de zaklamp in het laadstation is geplaatst. Stel de lichtsterkte in met de M-knop.

• De zaklamp als noodlicht

De zaklamp licht automatisch op bij een stroomonderbreking indien zij in het laadstation bevindt. De lichtsterkte vermindert
geleidelijk aan om de batterijen te sparen.

2. Prescriptions de sécurité

• Convient à un usage à l’intérieur uniquement.

• N’utiliser que des accus NiMH. Éviter l’utilisation de piles non rechargeables. Retirer les accus lorsque la torche n’est

pas employée.

• Les dommages occasionnés par des modifications à l’appareil par le client, ne tombent pas sous la garantie.

3. Installation des accus

• Ouvrir la torche en tenant la partie supérieure et en tournant la partie inférieure dans les sens inverse des aiguilles d’une

montre.

• Insérer 3 accus de type R6. Respecter la polarité.

• Refermer la torche.
