KSR20 - ADDENDUM

After the assembly of your Tobbie II robot, program the micro:bit. There are 12
program examples available, where the 12th example is an app to control Tobbie II via a
mobile device such as a tablet or smartphone.

First, check the assembly with the first example program 00.Assembly Checker.
Upload the example code (.hex file) to micro:bit. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Download the example (zip file) from the download section on the KSR20 product
page:

2. Connect the micro:bit to your PC using a micro USB cable.

3. Open the zip folder and navigate to the 00.Assembly Checker.hex file.

4. Copy the file to the removable micro:bit drive and rename it “MICROBIT”.

5. After uploading (the LEDs stop blinking) disconnect the micro:bit and place it back

into Tobbie’s holder, the LED matrix facing to you.

1. Download the .hex file 12.APP-Remote_Control_Mb-V2.hex first and install it

on your Micro:bit board.

2. To connect Tobbie II with Bluetooth, activate the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Location
(GPS) functions on your smartphone. The app will search for devices via the Scan
button in the app.

3. Install the Remote Control app onto your smartphone. Go to the store and search
for tobbie-ii.

Zodra de Tobbie II-robot in elkaar is gezet, moet de micro:bit geprogrammeerd worden.
Er zijn 12 voorbeeldprogramma's beschikbaar, waarvan het 12devoorbeeld een
toepassing is om de Tobbie II-robot aan te sturen via een mobiel apparaat, zoals een
tablet of smartphone.

Controleer eerst de montage met behulp van het eerste voorbeeldprogramma

00.Assembly Checker. Upload de voorbeeldcode (.hex-bestand) naar micro:bit. Volg

hiervoor de onderstaande stappen:

1. Download het voorbeeld (zip-bestand) van het tabblad "downloads" op de KSR20
productpagina:

2. Sluit de micro:bit aan op de computer met de micro-USB-kabel.

3. Open de zip-map en navigeer naar het bestand 00.Assembly Checker.hex.

4. Kopieer het bestand naar de verwisselbare schijf (micro:bit) en hernoem het naar

"MICROBIT".

5. Eenmaal geüpload (de leds stoppen met knipperen), ontkoppel de micro:bit en
plaats deze terug in de Tobbie-houder zodat de ledmatrix naar u gericht is.

1. Download eerst het .hex-bestand 12.APP-Remote_Control_Mb-V2.hex en

installeer het op uw micro:bit-board.

2. Om Tobbie II met Bluetooth te verbinden, activeer de functies Bluetooth, wifi en
locatie (GPS) op uw smartphone. De app zal vervolgens een beschikbaar apparaat
zoeken via de Scan knop in de app.

3. Installeer de Remote Control app op uw smartphone. Ga naar de App Store (iOS)
of Play Store (Android) en zoek naar tobbie-ii.

Une fois le robot Tobbie II assemblé, il faut programmer le micro:bit. Il existe 12
exemples de programmes disponibles, dont le 12

exemple est une application
permettant de contrôler le robot Tobbie II via un appareil mobile, tel qu'une tablette ou
un smartphone.

Vérifier d'abord l'assemblage en utilisant le premier programme d'exemple

00.Assembly Checker. Téléverser le code d'exemple (fichier hex) sur micro:bit. Pour
ce faire, suivre les étapes ci-dessous :

1. Télécharger l'exemple (fichier zip) à partir de l'onglet "téléchargements" sur la

page produit KSR20 :

2. Connecter le micro:bit à l'ordinateur à l'aide du câble micro USB.

3. Ouvrir le dossier zip et naviguer vers le fichier 00.Assembly Checker.hex.

4. Copier le fichier sur le disque amovible (micro:bit) et renommer-le avec le nom «

MICROBIT ».

5. Après le téléversement (les LED cessent de clignoter), déconnecter le micro:bit et

replacer-le dans le support Tobbie de manière que la matrice LED soit orientée vers
vous.
