bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, don't
install or use it and contact your dealer.

This symbol on the device or the package indicates that disposal of
the device after its lifecycle could harm the environment. Do not
dispose of the unit (or batteries) as unsorted municipal waste; it
should be taken to a specialized company for recycling. This device
should be returned to your distributor or to a local recycling
service. Respect the local environmental rules.

Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not

covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for
any ensuing defects or problems.

A qualified technician should install and service this device.
Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to

changes in temperature. Protect the device against damage by leaving
it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

Disconnect the device from the mains to clean it or when it is not in

use. Handle the power cord by the plug only.

Note that damage caused by user modifications to the device is not

covered by the warranty.

This device is designed for professional use on stage, in discos,

theatres, etc. The LX302 should only be used indoors.

Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation: regular

operation breaks will prolong their lives.

Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating

the device.

Protect against extreme heat, dust and moisture.

Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually

using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified people. Any damage that
may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the
device.

Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
Only use the device for its intended purpose.

5. Remote Controller

The controller allows you to control the functions more easily. Connect the
LX302 to the fixtures using a 3-pin XLR cable. The controller is able to
control up to 20 fixtures. Remove the terminator from the last LX301 in the
chain when using the LX302 controller. Install a signal splitter after the first
fixture if necessary.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
The housing, visible parts, mounting supports and the installation

location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing) should not be deformed,
modified or tampered with; e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting
supports, do not change the location of the connections…

Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use

alcohol or solvents.

There are no user-serviceable parts.
Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.

in gebruik neemt. Werd het toestel beschadigd tijdens het transport,
installeer het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.

2. Veiligheidsinstructies

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als het
na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel schade kan
toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en eventuele
batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval; het moet bij
een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor recyclage. U moet
dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een lokaal recyclagepunt

De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde

richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid
afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee
houden.

Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde

technicus.

Het is beter om het toestel niet onmiddellijk in te schakelen nadat het

werd blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen. Om beschadiging te
vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel kamertemperatuur heeft
bereikt.

Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het toestel reinigt of als u

het niet gebruikt. Houd de voedingskabel altijd vast bij de stekker en
niet bij de kabel.

Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het

toestel valt niet onder de garantie.

3. Algemene richtlijnen

Raadpleeg de Velleman® service- en kwaliteitsgarantie achteraan deze
handleiding.

Dit toestel is ontworpen voor professioneel gebruik op podia, in disco's,

enz. U mag de LX302 alleen binnenshuis gebruiken.

Lichteffecten zijn niet ontworpen voor een continue werking:

regelmatige onderbrekingen verlengen de levensduur.

Schud het toestel niet. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de installatie of de

bediening van het toestel.

Bescherm tegen extreme temperaturen, vochtigheid en stof.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat

gebruiken. Ongeschoolde personen mogen dit toestel niet gebruiken.
Meestal is beschadiging het gevolg van onprofessioneel gebruik.

Gebruik de oorspronkelijke verpakking wanneer u het toestel vervoert.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is.

5. Afstandsbediening

Met de afstandsbediening kunt u de functies van 20 stroboscopen
gemakkelijker aansturen. Sluit de LX302 aan op de stroboscoop met een 3­pin XLR-kabel. Verwijder de eindweerstand uit de laatste LX301 in de reeks
indien u een LX302-afstandsbediening gebruikt. Installeer een splitter na de
eerste stroboscoop indien nodig.
