6. Use
Refer to the illustrations on page 2 of this manual.
SD/MMC card
• Insert an SD/MMC card (not included) into the card slot [1]. Make sure the card
is not full or locked.
Power supply
• The device has an internal Li-Ion battery that can be charged either via a
powered USB port (USB cable included) or via the cigar lighter plug from the
vehicle (adaptor cable in cluded).
USB
o Plug one end of the USB cable int o the USB port [11]; plug the other end into
a powered USB port. The status LED [2] turns on red + blue.
o The device is recognized as an additional storage media.
Car adaptor
o Plug one end of the car adaptor into the 5Vdc input [12] and plug the other
end into a 12V/24V cigar lighter socket. As soon as the car is started the
CAMCOLVC15 switches on and starts recording. The status LED [2] turns on
red + blue.
Mounting
• Screw the suction cup on the mounting hole [16] on top of the camera.
• Place the suction cup on the window and push down the handle to secure it.
Recording mode
• The camera starts recording automatically when it is switched on.
• To switch on the camera, press and hold the ON/OFF button [6] for ±3s. The
status LED [2] flashes blue and the display shows to indicate recording
mode.
• To stop recording, press the REC/SNAP button [4]. The status LED [2] is now
on.
Note: when connected to the cigar lighter socket, the camera stops recording
automatically when the car power is switched off.
Snapshot mode
• Press the MODE button [10] to select snapshot mode ; the status LED [2]
turns blue.
•Press the REC/SNAP button [4] to take a snapshot.
Preview/playback mode
• Press the MODE button [10] to select playback mode ; the status LED [2]
turns blue.
• Use the UP [9] and DOWN [8] buttons to scroll through the available
recordings.
Note: for video files the duration is indicated.
•Press the menu button [5] to enter the Mode menu. Press again to enter
Setup menu. A third press will exit the menu.
• Scroll through the menu with the UP [9] and DOWN [8] buttons. Select a menu
item with the REC/SNAP button [4] and set using the UP [9] and DOWN [8]
buttons.
• Mode menu:
• When in video mode, the Video output menu is shown:
o Size: VGA – D1 – SXGA (1280x960 – 720x480 – 640x480 pixels)
o Time: Off – Date only – Date&Time
o Motion detect: Off – On
o Audio Record: Off – On
o Record Time: 2Min – 5 Min – 15 Min (size of each recorded file)
• When in snapshot mode, the capture menu is shown:
o Size: 1.3M – VGA
• When in playback mode, the play menu is shown:
o Delete: Single – All – Select
o Thumbnail: shows all files as thumbnails
o Volume: 1 ~ 8 (volume of playback)
• Setup menu:
• The setup menu is the same in the 3 modes:
• Setup
o Format: Cancel – Execute (format S D card)
o Language: English - Chinese – Japanese - Russian
o Sys. Reset: Cancel - Execute
o Light Freq.: 60Hz – 50 Hz
o Date Input: DD/MM/YYYY – YYYY/MM/DD – MM/DD/ YYYY
Set date and time using the UP [9] and DOWN [8] buttons. Move to the
next setting with the REC/SNAP button [4].

6. Gebruik

SD/MMC kaart
• Plaats een SD/MMC kaart (niet meegelev.) in het kaartslot [1]. Zorg ervoor dat
de kaart niet vol is of geblokkeerd.
Voeding
• Het toestel heeft een interne Li-Ion batterij die kan opgeladen worden via een
USB poort onder spanning (USB kabel meeg eleverd) of via de
sigarettenaansteker van een voertu ig (adapterkabel meegeleverd).
USB
o Verbind de USB kabel met de USB poort [11] en verbind met een USB poort
onder spanning. De status led [2] licht blauw en rood op.
o Het toestel wordt herkend als een bi jkomend opslagmedium.
Auto-adapter
o Verbind de auto-adapter met de 5Vdc ingang [12] en met een 12V/24V
sigarettenaansteker. Zodra het voertuig gestart wordt schakelt de
CAMCOLVC15 aan en begint de opname. De status led [2] licht blauw en
rood op.
Montage
• Schroef de zuignap op de montageopening [16] bovenaan de camera.
• Plaats de zuignap op het raam en druk het hendeltje naar beneden om de
camera vast te zetten.
Opnamemodus
• De camera begint automatisch op te nemen zodra hij aangeschakeld wordt.
• Om de camera in te schakelen, houd de ON/OFF knop [6] ingedrukt gedure nde
±3s. De status led [2] knippert blauw en de display toont om de
opnamemodus aan te geven.
• Om de opname te stoppen, druk op de REC/SNAP knop [4]. De status led [2] is
nu continue aan.
Opmerking: indien de camera verbonden is met de autoadapter dan stopt de
camera automatisch zodra de autospanning uitgeschakeld wordt.
