6. Installation

• Refer to the Technical Manual on the CD-ROM for instructions on how to perform the hardware

installation o f the KSR10/USB.

• Refer to the Robotic Arm User's Manual (English only) on the CD-ROM for instructions on installing

software and drivers on the computer as well as instructions on how to use the software for the

KSR10/USB.
Please read these manuals thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
Note: Opening the manuals on the CD-ROM requ ires Adobe® Acrobat Reader . This software can be

downloaded from www.adobe.com.

7. Important Note

The m ot ors that control the motions of the rob otic arm are equipped with overload protecti on systems.
Once a motion rea ches its mini mu m or maxi mu m r ange, th e p rotection wi l l be activated and a repetitive

sound is heard from the controlling motor.
Release the motion push button at once when you hear the repetitive sound. This will prolong
the life of the protection system and r oboti c arm.

Use this device with original a ccessories only. Velleman nv cannot be he ld responsible in the
event of damage or injury resulting from (incorrect) use of this device.

6. Installatie

• Raadpleeg de technische handleiding op de cd-rom voor de installatie-instructies van de hardware

van de KSR10/USB.

• Raadpleeg de gebruikershandleiding van de robotarm (enkel beschikbaar in het Engels) op de

cd-rom voor de installatie-instructi es van de software en drivers, alsook de gebruikersinstructies van

de software voor de KSR10/USB.
Neem alle 3 handleidingen volledig door alvoren s d e robota r m in gebruik te nemen.
Opmerking: De handleidingen op de cd-ro m zijn en kel leesbaar met Adobe® Acrobat Reader . Download

de software op www.adobe.com.

7. Belangrijke opmerking

De mot oren die d e robotarm aanstur en zij n beveiligd tegen overbelasting.
Van zodra een beweging haar minimale of maximal e r adius bereikt, hoort u de m otor meermaal s tikken.

Laat onmiddellijk de bedieningsknop los om beschadiging te vermijden.

Gebruik dit toestel enkel met originele a ccessoires. Vel leman nv is niet aansprakelijk voor
