1. Introduction

5. Restrictions

• DO NOT use this product to violate privacy laws or perform other illegal activities.

• DO NOT use this product near medical equipment e.g. pacemakers. Keep at least 0.5m

clearance as radio waves might influence medical devices.

Camera

• The camera can be mounted against the wall or the ceiling using the universal bracket (5)

with either the included mounting plate or the foam base.

• When mounted on the ceiling, the universal bracket must be placed on the top of the

camera (closest to antenna (1)). To do this, turn the camera part of the universal bracket (5b) 90° counter clockwise and pull gently. Remove the rubber protection cap from the top and place it on the bottom. Install the universal bracket (5b) by inserting it and turning 90°clockwise.

• Note that the mounting plate and foam base cannot be used together. For ceiling

mounting, avoid using the foam base.

Receiver

• The receiver can be used either horizontally or vertically.

• When used vertically, the included stand can be used.

9. Operation

• Mount the camera in a location that needs to be monitored.

• Apply power to the camera. The camera can be powered either via the included mains

adapter or with a 9-V battery (not included) via the battery clip.

• Insert the jack from the adapter or battery clip into the DC power jack (6) of the camera.

Only use the included adapter.

• When necessary (interference with other devices occurs or multiple cameras are used),

set the channel by opening the channel switch cover (3). There are 4 channels possible, default channel is 1:

• Mount the antenna (10) on the receiver.

• Connect the receiver to a monitor or TV via the AV output jack (9).

• Connect the DC power adapter to the DC power jack (8). Only use the included adapter.

• Set the mode control switch (7). This switch has 3 positions:

OFF Power off the receiver

M Manual mode Receiver channel can only be changed manually with the mode switch

button (12).

L Loop mode Receiver channels are displayed in a loop, every channel is shown for

±5 seconds

• Set the mode switch button (12) to manual mode when only one camera is present in the

system. The system is capable to support 4 cameras at the same time.

• Select the channel via the channel select button (12). The current channel is shown on

the front of the receiver (11).

• If the image shown on the monitor or TV appears out of focus, adjust

the lens focus using the included lens focus tool.

• Insert the pins from the tool into the holes next to the lens (2) and

gently turn to adjust the focus. Do not force.

• Adjust the brightness, contrast and colour settings of the monitor or TV to get the best

display result.

1. Inleiding
