5. Installation

a. Indoor Videophone

• Choose an appropriate installation spot out of direct sunlight.

• Measure the distance between the holes on the mounting bracket and drill holes accordingly. Place a plug into

each hole and fix the bracket using the screws.

• Wire the videophone according to the wiring diagram.

• Slide the videophone firmly onto the bracket.

• Connect max. 3 monitors to one camera.

b. Outdoor Intercom

• Choose an appropriate installation spot out of direct sunlight and rain.

• Measure the distance between the holes on the mounting bracket and drill holes accordingly. Place a plug into

each hole and fix the bracket using the screws.

• Wire the intercom according to the wiring diagram.

• Place the intercom unit firmly into the bracket and tighten with the screw.

6. Use

• As soon as a visitor presses the doorbell (3), the videophone will chime and display the image picked up from

the intercom unit. The image will be displayed for 30 seconds if the receiver is not picked up. When picking up
the receiver, the image will be displayed for 2 minutes.

• The door can be opened by pressing the unlocking button (14) provided that an optional door latch has been

installed (drive voltage of 12V, lock resistor of 15

Ω min.).

• Press the monitor button (12) to display the image picked up from the intercom unit at any time.

• Adjust the contrast using slider no 16; adjust the volume using slider no 17.
