above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.  This device contains small parts. Choking hazard!  The white LED, which illuminates the microscope target field,

is very bright. Do not stare directly into this LED as it may damage your eyes.

WARNING

Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as

they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge

non-rechargeable batteries (alkaline). Dispose of

batteries in accordance with local regulations. Keep

batteries away from children.

 Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually

using it.

 All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage

caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.

 Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an

unauthorised way will void the warranty.

 Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not

covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.

 Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to

changes in temperature. Protect the device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.

4. Overview

5. Battery

1. Open the battery compartment.

2. Install three fresh AA batteries following the polarity markings inside

the compartment.

3. Close the battery compartment.

4. Remove the batteries from the device when not in use.

REMARK

The arm can be swivelled for more ease-of-use.

The body can be removed from the arm for

transportation.

Viewing through the eyepiece requires sufficient

light.

You can easily take pictures of your specimen using your smartphone. To do so, slide the smartphone platform onto the body and place the smartphone onto the platform in such way, that the camera sits just above the eyepiece. Now you can take pictures, record and even zoom through your smartphone.

6. Operation

1. Place a prepared specimen slide on the specimen stage and slide it into

the clips, such that the clips hold the slide securely.

2. Switch on the LED – the base LED or reflective LED – to illuminate the

specimen.

3. Turn the objective turret – the turret can be rotated both ways – to the

desired magnification. Rotate the objective turret such that the objective is directly on top of the specimen. It is recommended to start with the least powerful magnification rate and select a more powerful objective if needed.

4. View through the eyepiece and rotate the focusing knob clockwise or

anticlockwise until the image is sharp. Make sure the objective is clear from obstacles and does not hit the specimen while lowering the turret.

5. Zoom in on the image with the zoom dial.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance

Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

1. Inleiding

 Houd dit toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen en

onbevoegden.

 Dit toestel is geschikt voor gebruik door kinderen vanaf

8 jaar, door personen met fysieke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke beperkingen, of door personen met gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, op voorwaarde dat dit onder toezicht gebeurt van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of hun aanwijzingen heeft gegeven, hoe zij het toestel moeten gebruiken en zich bewust zijn van de risico's die het gebruik van het toestel met zich meebrengt. Kinderen mogen niet met het toestel spelen. Reiniging en onderhoud van het toestel mogen niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan.

 Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het

toestel spelen.

 Dit toestel bevat kleine onderdelen. Verstikkingsgevaar!  De witte led die het voorwerp onder de lens belichten, is zeer

helder. Kijk niet rechtstreeks in de led, dit kan uw ogen beschadigen.

 Bescherm het toestel tegen stof en extreme

temperaturen.

 Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de

bediening van het toestel.

 Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat

gebruiken.

 Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade

door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht aan het toestel valt niet onder de garantie.

 Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt

automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.

 De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde

richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.

WAARSCHUWING

U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in het vuur

gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen

alkalinebatterijen. Gooi batterijen weg volgens de

plaatselijke milieuwetgeving. Houd batterijen

buiten het bereik van kinderen.

 Schakel het toestel niet onmiddellijk in nadat het werd blootgesteld aan

temperatuurschommelingen. Om beschadiging te vermijden, moet u wachten tot het toestel de kamertemperatuur heeft bereikt.

 Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.

4. Omschrijving

Raadpleeg de afbeeldingen op pagina 2 van deze handleiding.

5. Batterij

1. Open het batterijvak.

2. Plaats drie nieuwe AA-batterijen. Respecteer de polariteit.

3. Sluit het batterijvak.

4. Verwijder de batterijen wanneer u het toestel niet gebruikt.

6. Gebruik

1. Plaats een objectglaasje op de preparaattafel en zet het vast met de

klemmen.

2. Schakel de basisled of reflecterende led in om het preparaat te

belichten.

3. Draai de revolver in wijzerzin of in tegenwijzerzin om de gewenste

vergroting in te stellen. Draai aan de revolver tot de lens zich direct boven het preparaat bevindt. Begin met de kleinste vergroting en selecteer een grotere vergroting indien nodig.

OPMERKING

De arm kan hellen voor maximaal gebruiksgemak.

De behuizing kan van de arm verwijderd worden

voor transport.

Om door het oculair te kijken is er voldoende licht

nodig.

U kunt gemakkelijk foto's van het preparaat maken met uw smartphone. Schuif hiervoor de smartphonehouder op de behuizing en plaats de smartphone op de houder zodat de camera zich direct boven het oculair bevindt. Nu kunt u foto's of video's maken en zelfs inzoomen via uw smartphone.

4. Kijk door het oculair en draai de scherpstelknop in wijzerzin of in

tegenwijzerzin totdat u een scherp beeld krijgt. Zorg ervoor dat de lens vrij is van obstakels en dat de lens het preparaat niet raakt.

5. Zoom in op het beeld met de zoomknop.

8. Reiniging en onderhoud

Reinig het toestel af en toe met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen bijtende chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.

 Cet appareil contient des petites pièces. Risque d'étouffement

 La LED blanche qui éclaire la zone cible du microscope est

très puissante. Ne pas regarder directement dans cette LED, cela risque d'abîmer vos yeux.

 Protéger cet appareil contre la poussière et les

températures extrêmes.

 Protéger l’appareil des chocs et de l'abus. Traiter l'appareil

avec circonspection pendant l’opération.

 La garantie ne se s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant

certaines directives de ce mode d'emploi et votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en résultent.

 Ne pas brancher immédiatement l’appareil après exposition à des

variations de température. Afin d’éviter des dommages, attendre jusqu’à ce que l’appareil ait atteint la température ambiante.
