 The only difference between de models is the mat size.
 Except for AS1N the antistatic dissipative mats come with accessory AS1N/CBL, AS1N is

without snap.

Properties:

 Antistatic: reduction of static build-up due to tribo-electric charging between materials.
 Dissipative: slow neutralization rate of ESD to prevent damage to microcircuit devices which

cannot tolerate a sudden flow of static charge to ground.

Material:

 Material: Dual layer Vinyl (white top layer / black foam bottom layer)
 Temperature resistance: max. 100°C (not resistant to soldering)
 Thickness: 2mm (white layer: 0.2mm, black layer: 1.8mm)

Guidance:

 Matting materials have a tendency to shrink slightly when first unrolled. In applications where

length is critical, allow the material to relax for at least 4 hours before cutting to size. Matting
can be trimmed with a sharp knife.



Note that contact between the matting surface and any acid or alkali solvent will result in degradation of
the antistatic performance. If cleaning is required, the matting may be wiped with a cloth coated in a
neutral solution
