SMART SET BOX Instruction

Initial Setting:

- Remove Batteries, put batteries back in

- The display will show language

- Select your language by using ▲ or ▲ button. use the menu button M to
confirm

- Enter appropriate time format, time, date format and set the current date

Setting of computer:

- Place the VDO computer into the mount

- When computer is in sleep-modus, press any button, the computer shows
“COMPUTER ONLINE”

- Switch on the Set box(green button)

- The Set Box offers 3 Main Menus

- SET

- RESET

- TEST MODE

- Select the Menu by using ▲ or ▲ button

- Use the menu button M to confirm

- Use the ▲ or ▲ button to select

- Use the keypad to enter digits

- Confirm all settings with menu button M

Main Menu SET

Set menu: Confirm language and time, Select kilometers or miles
Set wheel sizes(either by Setting via wheelsizeschart or wheel-circumference ),

Do so for bike 1 and, if needed, for bike 2. Enter the total mileage of bike 1 and,
if needed, for bike 2. Use the keypad to enter the digits. If service interval
setting is needed, enter the interval-distance by using the keypad.

After selecting / setting the data, confirm “sending?” “YES” with menu-button M
The Set Box will transfer the data to the X-computer. Successful transmission is

confirmed in X-display by DATA SETTING DONE.

Main Menu RESET:

- TOTAL RESET: all data from bicycle computer will be reset

- TOUR DATA: all data from the last trip will be reset

- TOTAL KM: all total Km will be reset

- TOTAL RIDETIME: will do reset of total ridetime

Main Menu TEST MODE

Test mode: select wired or wireless model by using ▲ or ▲ button.
Use the menu button M to confirm. Signals will be sent from Set box to

computer, either wired or wireless. The computer-display shows a speed for
wired and wireless models. Wireless models will show cadence too.
