(lighter uid, petrol, kerosene, etc) or use in the presence of explosive liquids or vapours.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

8 Don’t vacuum harmful or toxic material (chlorine,
bleach, ammonia, drain cleaner etc.)
8 Don’t pull or carry this handheld by the charger cord.
Don’t use the charger cord as a handle, pull the charger cord around corners or sharp edges or close a door over the charger cord. Don’t unplug handheld by pulling on the charger cord.
8 Don’t attempt to remove blockages with sharp objects
as this may cause damage to your handheld.
8 Don’t use the handheld charger with incorrect voltage
as this may result in damage or injury to the user. The correct voltage is listed on the rating label.
8 Don’t vacuum up hot coals, cigarette butts, matches or
smoking hot burning items or use in an area where there may be harmful uids (chlorine, bleach, and ammonia drain cleaner).
3 Always make sure lter and dirt container are tted
correctly before using your handheld.
3 Always turn o the Gator handheld vacuum and
disconnect the charger before carrying out any maintenance.
3 Turn o all controls on the handheld before
disconnecting or connecting the charger.
3 Take extra care when cleaning on the stairs.

3 Always protect the charger cable from heated surfaces
or near open ames.
3 Use only SAA approved 10amp extension cords, non-
approved extension cords may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the extension cord as it can be a trip hazard.
3 Always carry the handheld by the handle.
3 Store your handheld in a cool, dry area.
