2. Safety Information
FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
WARNING: Beware that the nozzle gets very hot during operation.
DANGER OF SCALDING: Avoid contact with the steam.
1. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is switched on. Unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket before each cleaning / maintenance and before you fill / empty the water tank.
2. The appliance must be kept out of children’s reach and can’t be used by children.
3. In order to ensure safety, the appliance should only be assembled, connected and operated as set out in the instructions. Please also pay attention to the specifications on the model plate. Use only the accessories, which are recommended by manufacturer.
4. Examine the appliance before use in order to detect signs of damage. Do not operate if the appliance, its power cord or plug, show any signs of damage. In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, qualified personnel must carry out repairs of electrical appliances. If repair is needed contact our customer service department.
5. The appliance cannot be operated if the power cord or plug is damaged. Do not use the power cord to carry the appliance. Beware that the power cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
6. Check the appliance and the mains wire before each use for perfect status.
7. After the use unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket.
8. During the operation keep the openings and the air outlet always free for good air ventilation.
9.
Make sure that the appliance is not tilted over 45° during the operation. When the appliance is in operation, the nozzles should not be directed toward humans, animals or plants.
10. Never immerse the appliance into water or other liquid.
11. Only use water in this appliance. De-scaling pr
oducts, perfume, detergent etc. should
not be used with this appliance, in order to avoid damage.
NOTE: If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
NOTE: Before each cleaning/maintenance and after each use unplug the appliance from the mains supply socket and let it cool down sufficiently.
NOTE: The liquid or steam must not to be directed towards equipment containing electrical components, such as the interior of ovens.
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
WARNING: The appliance heats up in the operation therefore do not touch the hot surface; use only the grasps or buttons. Always let the appliance cool down, before accessories are removed or attached from it.
ELECTRICAL WIRING: This appliance must be attached to a mains supply socket with grounding, therefore it is equipped with a mains cable with ground wire.
WARNING: Only a qualified person is allowed to check your mains supply socket. Never try to modify or change the mains plug of the appliance. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to the voltage marked on the rating label of the appliance.
3. How to attach the accessories
Warning: For the sake of safety, the plug must be unplugged from socket before attaching the accessories.
Warning: This appliance should not be used directly on soft plastics, non pre-treated wood or cold glass. To ensure steam can be used on the desired surface a small test run should be conducted to pr
