What if the filter becomes blocked?
Under certain circumstances e.g. vacuuming plaster dust, the filter may temporarily become blocked resulting in a loss of suction.
2 Remove, hairs, fibres or threads
Carefully cut them off the brushes with scissors using the cutting strip in the brush bar to help you.
1 First, switch off your AVC and unplug it
2 Disconnect the hose from the canister
3 Remove the hose from the wand
4 Brush out the hose
After removing the hose use a feather duster to brush it clean.
2 Rotate the hose collar
Lay your AVC down then rotate the collar [just above the brush bar] in the direction of the arrow. The hose will release.
3 Remove the window
Then remove any blockage beneath it.
4 Brush out the hose
Remove the wand and then use a feather duster to brush out the hose. You have to replace the window before the hose’s collar when you put your AVC back together
.
1 First, switch off your AVC and unplug it
1 First, switch off your AVC and unplug it
1 First, remove and empty the canister
2 Remove the filter
Reach inside the easyview canister, turn the filter cover anti-clockwise to release it and pull to remove. Then pull the filter free.
3 Reset the power button
There is an automatic system which cuts off the power supply if the brush bar gets clogged up. After cleaning the brushes, wait a couple of minutes, then reset the button by pressing it in with the point of a pencil.
3 Tap the filter
gently on it’s base
This will dislodge the dust. Do not wash, brush or scour the filter as it has a delicate membrane which can be easily damaged. Replace when finished as the canister cannot be reconnected without the filter in place.
